SKILLBRIDGE Technical Associate
The Business Development Technical Associate will provide business development technical support to the National Security Solutions (NSS) group.
This position has a hybrid work schedule.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Research and develop responses to business opportunities to include federal Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Sources Sought, etc.
Assist in monitoring business development avenues of information, researching contracts, customers, and potential teammates / competitors
Develop technical solutioning along with Capture Manager and SMEs
Participate in customer engagement to understand customer problem
Develop targeted solutions aimed at solving the customer problem
Ensures solution meets technical objectives along with cost and schedule
Validates solutioning with customer through continued engagement
Develops overarching technical solution graphic as well as OV/SV graphics as needed
Builds and maintains relationships with SMEs, Technical Leads and other Architects
Provides technical support throughout Capture process
Ability to visualize and create visual representations of solutions to include but not limited to SV-1, OV-1, Solution Graphics, etc... is required.
The candidate will support along with technical and program teams to develop scope and cost estimates to include but not limited to key labor categories and skill levels, level of effort estimates, basis of effort estimates, etc., within desired target cost.
In this role, you are expected to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, and proactively identify gaps and areas for improvement for the BD operations overall
Participate in all business planning activities, scheduling and facilitating BD presentations, to include pipeline reviews, milestone reviews, weekly and monthly BD reporting
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in progress in a STEM discipline with 0-1 years of related experience
Demonstrated skills using automated tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) to present ideas, information, and reports
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity or willingness to learn about government solicitation documents, including standard RFP structure
Ability to manage and prioritize time between regular duties, ad hoc requests, and higher-level corporate priorities/initiatives
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of related experience
Multi-tasking and communications skills to develop, organize, facilitate, coordinate, and execute actions across the org related to all BD and Strategy initiatives
Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision, and establish a solid working relationship with senior management, BD staff, and peers in the Group and across KBR
Willingness to flex work schedule (when coordinated in advance) to meet proposal objectives
Technical solutioning experience in the defense and intelligence community markets for technology-centric business units providing both services and products to US Government customers
Proven ability to successfully derive solutions based on understanding of problems that meet technical objectives within cost and schedule. From this in-depth understanding, the ideal candidate will be able to interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Key Stakeholders (internal to KBR and external), Technical Experts, and other key roles to develop a compelling Solution for strategic growth markets and opportunities aligned with the NSS growth strategy
Ability to lead and participate in technical content development
Expertise in Amazon Cloud, Kubernetes, Containers and Modern DevSecOps Principles
Expertise in Modern Software Development (git, multi-threading, DevSecOps, C++, Python, Linux, Docker)
Ability to analyze requirements against existing capabilities and develop/analyze gap analysis and potential teaming strategy against overall technical solution.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
