Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Influence the evolution of a Salesforce ecosystem that is at the core of the go forward strategy in support of Sales, Service, Marketing, Digital, and other business areas. Advance existing capabilities and implement new technologies to aid in growth and advancement. Use your expertise to deliver integrations to critical APIs and internal systems to provide a single view of the customer to all users. Be on the forefront of strategic initiatives that will help position the company for the coming years. Utilize your leadership experience to partner with and mentor a highly skilled but relatively new technology team to grow and mature delivery capabilities.

Will leverage advanced software programming skills and strong understanding of digital best practices to develop, implement and maintain technical business solutions. Will bring significant knowledge and experience within a specific domain or domains. Will work collaboratively with business partners to develop solutions promoting user engagement and retention. Will mentor and guide a team of developers and participates as a member of a fast-paced agile team and collaborates cross-functionally to design and implement solutions providing competitive advantage to the effective operations of the business. Will be known both internally and externally as an expert in the domain in which they operate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. In partnership with leadership and the business, owns the technical vision and development of assigned systems.

  2. Utilizes planning and leadership skills to oversee development practices and architecture of applications. Understands connections between and across systems to ensure broad consideration of impacts of change.

  3. Conducts code reviews and mentoring sessions with other developers on the team to ensure overall code quality and maintainability.

  4. Develops organizational level best practices and acts as an advocate for best practices and architectures across the organization.

  5. Performs moderate to complex programming assignments requiring an advanced understanding of established web/digital programming standards, methods, and best practices.

  6. Gathers and interpret business requirements, create functional specifications, and determine the most efficient/appropriate technologies to achieve desired outcomes. Oversee technical aspects of the projects and provide guidance to development teams.

  7. Leads and mentor a team of developers in implementing solutions. Teach less experienced team members in technical skills as needed.

  8. Works with development teams to integrate solutions with company systems and third-party platforms.

  9. Contributes to and review technical designs of software solutions.

  10. Works with engineers and architects in continuous improvement initiatives.

  11. Conducts research into new technologies, development practices and frameworks.

  12. Collaborates with developers to implement solutions, resolve problems, and perform code reviews.

  13. Works with vendor development teams to implement and support governance and change management processes.

  14. Ensures quality and maintain performance of deployed solutions.

  15. Follows, contributes to, and supports Agile-based software development practices.

  16. Provides technical support and participates in on-call rotation to resolve critical application issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

  2. Lead the development of cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new, and modifying existing, software applications.

  3. Eight (8) years of experience in Java, web, and/or cloud related programming and technologies.

  4. Three (3) years of experience in delivering Salesforce ecosystem capabilities.

  3. Experience architecting/designing solutions to deliver Salesforce ecosystem capabilities.

  4. Experience integrating codebase with CI/CD processes using Copado, Gitlab, Jenkins, JIRA.

  5. Experience integrating with CMS and other systems through an API-driven approach is preferred.

  6. Experience with SDLC from design to implementation, as well as secure software coding principles.

  7. Work with multiple departments within the organization such as marketing, sales, UX, vendors, and analytics professionals.

  8. Strongunderstanding of object-orientedprogramming andscalable software design.

  9. Advanced understanding of relational databases and SQL.

  10. Experience with Java, JSP a plus.

  11. Experience with Agile Methodologies, and tools.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This job operates in a professional office environment indoors. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position can be worked remotely or a hybrid work arrangement is available. Remote location must be identified to the company. In some cases, the remote work may need to be performed in a specific region or time zone to support customers or company employees. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
