  • Experience in M&A with a company with sales in excess of $1 Billion annually or experience at a consulting firm leading mergers and acquisitions activities on behalf of clients.

  • Strong project management skills and use of project management methodology, along with the ability to influence people and lead change.

  • At least seven years People/HR experience interacting with all levels including senior management.

  • Exposure and knowledge of the due diligence processes and procedures used within the context of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and/or joint ventures, including applicable laws and regulations that can affect M&A decisions.

  • Experience leading and working on complex cross-functional projects with multiple partners, including experience working internationally.

  • Proven organizational skills and change management skills.

  • Excellent presentation skills. Must be able to craft and deliver with ease compelling and informative presentations, to audiences large and small.

  • Confident and composed with senior executives both at Apple and at target companies.

  • Ability to remain composed given aggressive timelines and a high volume of activities throughout deal process.

  • Ability to balance objective and subjective. Acquisitions can be difficult especially for the target's team. They must be assured that they and their colleagues will be well-cared for, that concerns will be heard and that issues can be resolved collaboratively. Must combine clear business sense (especially as it relates to costs and compensation) with compassion.

  • Ease in analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.

  • Willingness to travel (including internationally) up to 40 percent of the time and often on extremely short notice.

  • Willingness and flexibility to work within varying time zones, nights, weekends and off hours.

  • High customer attention and awareness that constantly seeks creative solutions with the highest standards of integrity to produce a set of positive experiences for the acquired employees.

  • Ability to combine strategic thinking, strong operational execution with solid attention to detail.

Description

  • Manages the overall People project plan, guides the due diligence and analysis (particularly the talent evaluation with the acquiring organization), drives the People workstreams for integration planning and execution. - Partners with cross-functional specialists and managers throughout the deal, from initiation to integration, with a particular attention to colleagues in the People function. - Ensures that Apple delivers an unmatched experience for the new employees (and their families if relocating), including providing insight to Apple's culture, clarity around the process and enthusiasm for what's ahead. - Partner with Business (Deal sponsor), Corporate Development, Integration and People team on M&A transactions as it relates to diligence, execution, integration planning, and on-boarding. - In certain domestic and international deals, along with People specialists from Global Mobility, delivers a customized relocation evaluation experience, helping employees and families get to know Apple and the Bay Area and enabling them to commit to the relocation with confidence.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or other business-related field. Master's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or similar area of study is preferred.

Machine Translation is a critical technology that enables connecting people across language barriers. Description

The Operations Lead assists the Operations team in its execution of inventory tasks and processes, while also ensuring that work order management tasks are completed effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with Apple Standards. Description

We are looking for an extraordinary visual designer for tvOS, iOS, Watch, Mac, PC and Web. You are a natural collaborator and an excellent communicator, able to develop and present design ideas in a large team environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Production, Product Marketing, and Senior Management. Prior experience working within a technical environment is a key requirement. You should possess extraordinary visual and user interface design skills, as well as user-centered design principals. You have an affinity for consistency, color use, typography, and a keen eye for subtle details. While exercising a good eye for aesthetics, you are able to grasp and distill highly complex issues and translate them into clean, focused, understandable solutions. Strong communication skills and ability to stay highly organized is critical. Interest in new technologies in web, mobile, and other devices is required. You should be a self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision. The work that you will design will be seen and experienced by millions of people every month around the globe.
