What will this you do?

  • Managing projects from start to finish and ensure successful implementation within agreed cost, schedule and quality targets.

What qualifications does this position require?

  • 5+ years industry experience in information technology, software development and data management.

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS, especially Dynamo, RDS, Lambda, IAM and Cloud Formation.

  • Experience in Source-Code-Management tools such as Bitbucket or (preferably) AWS CodeCommit.

  • Enhanced Development skills in web-based technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript

  • Knowledge of containers (not required, but a huge plus)

  • Advanced Experience in JavaScript Frameworks like Angular 6.0+ Development of backend code in C# .Net Core / NodeJS

  • Experience with Source-Code-Management Systems such as Git

  • Experience using SQL (MSSQL, MySQL or MemSQL preferred)

Position Summary

In this position you will work closely with all business lines and centers within GBS (Global Business Services) with subject matter experts, project managers, application owners and the data team. Direct key stakeholder contacts include Digitalization & Innovation Head, GBS Business Lines (Demand Management), Internal and external implementation partners (e.g. Microsoft, AWS, Google) and vendors as well as SOP IT (standard operation procedure).

You have a minumum 3 years' experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. You have proven ability to drive business results with data-based insights. You are comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

  • Proficient in data mining techniques, performing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with other products

  • Fluency in Database query languages

  • Experience in selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques

Main responsibilities

Work with large, complex data sets and applying advanced analytical methods as needed

Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets

Run PoCs and Pilots projects to investigate and prove the feasibility and benefits of the proposed solutions

Interact with multiple stakeholders (from different levels) and effectively present findings by exploiting visual displays of complex quantity information in a simplified way

Identify and develop intelligent and innovative data analytics use cases to optimize the existing business

processes

Be the partner of choice regarding technology advisory for advanced analytics

Actively and proactively perform market/trend scouting to stay up to date on the state-of-the-art technologies

Ability to travel up to 10%

Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge

3+ years of knowledge in advanced data analytics / data science / machine learning

Bachelor's degree required, in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Bioinformatics, Economics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering)

Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB, pandas) and database languages (e.g., SQL)

Experience with cloud technologies: Amazon Web Services, Snowflake and/or Microsoft Azure

Experience on collecting business requirements and traduce it into solution designs

Preferably 2 years' experience with SAP/HANA

As a Test Design Professional at Siemens, you will work within development teams to build and enhance products for the commercial HVAC market. Role-specific responsibilities

  • On the job experience defining, building, maintaining test strategy and test efforts.

  • Review product specifications with respect to system testability and provide feedback. Work with business owners and leads when such information is unavailable to define what is needed.

  • Document traceability of tests to associated functional and non-functional requirements, justifying efficient and effective coverage.

  • Develop and execute test designs and test cases for verification and validation of systems functionality through manual and automated tests.

  • Design, update and maintain a physical test system (networks, controllers, end devices, etc.) that are used in testing real and simulated customer scenarios.

  • Execute System Test functional and non-functional tests on larger, complex HVAC controller systems and networks within the development community.

  • Develop automated functional and system testing capabilities based upon manual test procedures and end-user workflows.

  • Work with development teams to resolve issues spanning one or more products.

  • Report on test status and outcomes.

  • Collaborate with international, multi-site development teams in a SAFe Agile development environment.

  • Comply with documented Siemens development processes.

  • Participate in resolution of field issues in existing products.

  • Participate in Peer Reviews.

  • Some opportunity for US or European travel (5%).

Criteria

  • 5+ years on the job experience with software / hardware system testing.

  • 5+ years defining and testing Non-Functional Requirement (NFR) risk based and exploratory testing in larger, multi-layer IT

  • 3+ years of job experience with Siemens Desigo Optic and/or Tridium Niagara (designing, installing, troubleshooting). Experience with Desigo CC, APOGGEE or System One a plus.

  • Solid knowledge and experience of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies including network diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills. Be able to inspect LAN infrastructure and fix minor or major system issues (Wireshark).

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of virtualization technologies, platforms and concepts.

Lead the investigation and resolution of open lines associated with various Customer Support Managed orders. As a Global Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for marketing operations, positioning, content production, concept development, and execution of global marketing activities for our Grid Simulation portfolio.

The focus is on the creative work in transforming technical input into relevant, customer-value-driven marketing activities. A strong emphasis is taken on account-based marketing and on the positioning of new products of the Grid Software portfolio.

  • Develop and realize Sales material and digital online marketing activities

  • Conceptualize, prepare, execute, and measure pipeline generating and pipeline influencing campaigns in close cooperation with our Product Management and Sales teams

  • Lead and develop the customer community infrastructure (User Group Meetings, User Mailings, M&S push activities, etc.)

  • Develop, create and publish success stories together with our customers

  • Contribute to the preparation and execution of fairs, exhibits and customer events

  • Guide and steer external agencies, working students and contractors

Be part of our team, here's what's needed:

  • University degree in either Marketing, Product Management or related studies

  • 5+ years of experience in operational marketing in the B2B business, with a proven track record in storytelling, execution of complex omni-channel campaigns, account-based marketing and sales support projects - preferably in a grid and/or industrial software business

  • Excellent English language skills (native proficiency level)

  • Experience in copywriting

  • Capability to work as a part of a global team and to build up global networks

  • Openness and creativity regarding new ways and new approaches in marketing in particular in the arena of digital offerings

  • Ability to manage the marketing requirements of a complex and diverse portfolio of products

  • Ability to travel (15%)
