Job Description

What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:

This position requires the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous Building Automation projects of various complexities. The Project Manager has fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Review project specifications, drawings andproject-specific documents to establish project intent.

  • Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinateneeds with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installationneeds.

  • Manage the requisition of supplies and materials tocomplete projects.

  • Review plans and specifications and participate inproject cost reviews.

  • Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation andcontracting of subcontractors.

  • Conduct an orientation for projecttechnicians and provide all necessary projectdocumentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicablespecifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts,etc.

  • Track resources and projectprogress.

  • Document project events that impact the schedule,scope of work, and project efficiency.

  • Pursue project-specific change-orderopportunities.

  • Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing;coordinate with Accounting team and Operations Manager.

  • Schedule project-specific commissioning resourcesand provide commissioning documentation.

  • Expedite the return of project-specific mark-upsfor as-built development.

  • Complete project-specific close-outdocumentation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Associatedegree; Bachelor of Mechanical or ElectricalEngineering degree preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Project management experience in the HVAC controlsindustry; 5+ years preferred

  • Knowledge and understanding ofHVAC industry applications; ability to read and understandMEP drawings and specifications, and electrical,network, and control wiring diagrams

  • Knowledge of industry-standard communicationprotocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet

  • Ability to work in a team environment providingdedicated support to our customers

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and MicrosoftProject

  • Good verbal and written communication skills inEnglish

Position Overview

The Director will be responsible for ensuring the success of business goals within their area of responsibility. This will be achieved by defining the POC informatics strategy for US, deployment of strategy, managing the direct sales force, understanding the customer's needs and creation of a value-proposition to the customer. The Director is responsible for the management of marketing and sales activity and tracking of key sales and marketing actions: Forecasting, Funnel management, sales processes, coverage on critical accounts, portfolio definition, annual marketing plan, value proposal definition)

The Director will report to the POC Vice-president of Sales, while working closely with POC Marketing Director to develop the annual Marketing plan, and with Global Informatics Team, to ensure clear alignment in terms of strategy and product portfolio.

The Director will work jointly and collaboratively with several internal Siemens Healthineers teams to ensure a positive customer solution/experience. These teams consist of the POC Sales Force, Service, Technical Applications, Business Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR and other teams.

The Director will be responsible for developing a strong team environment within their own team as well as working effectively cross-functionally to drive business success.

- Drives sales results on the assigned Siemens Healthineers Informatics product line

- Partners with Account Manager and Sales Specialist to achieve business objectives

- Participates in RFP process when IT solutions are involved

- Own the process for Demonstrations, VIP, and Site Visits

- Responsible to increase the confidence and capability of the Account Manager and the Sales Specialist regarding Siemens Healthineers IT solutions

Position Overview

The POC Informatics National Commercial Director is a field-based position with the overall responsibility for driving revenue growth for POC Informatics, defining and executing the POC Informatics Marketing strategy and managing the commitment and accountability of the sales team, consisting of Informatics Sales Specialists whose responsibility is to maintain and grow existing base business as well as develop new business for POC Informatics portfolio. The span of control is a total of 6 direct reports across the US.

The Director will be responsible for ensuring the success of business goals within their area of responsibility. This will be achieved by defining the POC informatics strategy for US, deployment of strategy, managing the direct sales force, understanding the customer's needs and creation of a value-proposition to the customer. The Director is responsible for the management of marketing and sales activity and tracking of key sales and marketing actions: Forecasting, Funnel management, sales processes, coverage on critical accounts, portfolio definition, annual marketing plan, value proposal definition)

The Director will report to the POC Vice-president of Sales, while working closely with POC Marketing Director to develop the annual Marketing plan, and with Global Informatics Team, to ensure clear alignment in terms of strategy and product portfolio.

The Director will work jointly and collaboratively with several internal Siemens Healthineers teams to ensure a positive customer solution/experience. These teams consist of the POC Sales Force, Service, Technical Applications, Business Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR and other teams.

The Director will be responsible for developing a strong team environment within their own team as well as working effectively cross-functionally to drive business success.

Responsibilities:

- Drives sales results on the assigned Siemens Healthineers Informatics product line

- Partners with Account Manager and Sales Specialist to achieve business objectives

- Participates in RFP process when IT solutions are involved

- Own the process for Demonstrations, VIP, and Site Visits

- Responsible to increase the confidence and capability of the Account Manager and the Sales Specialist regarding Siemens Healthineers IT solutions

- Conducts regular training sessions with Sales Specialist as well as Account Manager to increase knowledge and capability of sales force

- Assist on customer quotes on all Siemens Healthineers Dx middleware opportunities

- Ensures right fit for the customer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor'sdegree preferred; a combination of education andexperience will also be considered

  • 5+ yearsof sales experience in building automation or a related field

  • Software,IoT, and networking experience a plus

  • Experiencein the life sciences, healthcare, education, data center, andcommercial office vertical markets preferred

  • Financialexpertise to estimate and sell technical solutions andservice offerings effectively and independently

  • Accountdevelopment and strategic sales skills

  • Experienceselling to end users/owners

  • Demonstrableunderstanding of how-to market, position, and sell cloud-based,data-driven service programs such as fault detection and diagnostics toexisting and new customers preferred

  • Excellentverbal and written communication skills in English

  • Excellentorganizational, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office suite

  • Proficiencywith Salesforce CRM preferred

  • Must be 21years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limitedviolations
