Siemens Mobility Division provides efficient and integrated transportation of people and goods by rail and road - including rolling stock, rail automation, rail electrification, intelligent traffic systems, and service. We design and manufacture across the entire spectrum of rolling stock, including commuter and regional passenger trains, light rail and streetcars, metros, locomotives, passenger coaches, and high-speed trainsets. Cities and Railroads also rely on us to provide traction-power substations and electricity transmission, as well as signaling and control technology for freight and passenger rail and transit systems.

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Mobility Finance and Performance Management group in New York City. Key responsibilities are: Headquarter controlling, reporting, analysis, and general financial and commercial support. You will provide executive management financial and operational analysis to support strategic plans and operating budgets. The research will include various operational levels of factory, project, and cost accounting. You are an independent and critical thinker, bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems. Are you ready?

Additional responsibilities will include:

-Guiding the various levels and groups within our matrix structure to design and optimize financial processes and systems for higher accuracy and completeness of the information.

-Determining and discussing financial analysis at very complex levels (project and factory level), including the rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, budgeting, and economic and expense performance comparisons.

-Guiding conformance to IFRS / FRG requirements - may also guide commercial activities (pricing, margin calculations, etc.)

-Developing financial reports for the executive management team and optimizing the reporting and closing processes for higher efficiency.

-Procurement Financial Support, such as Procurement group controlling/reporting, SCM essential metric check

Required Knowledge/Skills/Education:

-BS/BA in Finance or related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

-8-10 years of successful experience in a related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above

-Working knowledge of Spiridon and Hyperion a strong plus

What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:

This position requires the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous fire and life safety projects of various complexities. The Project Manager has fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Review project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intent.

  • Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs.

  • Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.

  • Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews.

  • Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors.

  • Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide all necessary project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.

  • Track resources and project progress.

  • Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.

  • Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.

  • Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with Accounting team and Operations Manager.

  • Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation.

  • Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built development.

  • Complete project-specific close-out documentation.

  • Effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirements.

  • Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Associate degree; Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

  • Technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry; 5+ years preferred

  • Knowledgeable in local and national (NFPA) fire alarm codes and regulations

  • NICET Level II Certification in Fire Alarm preferred

  • Knowledge and understanding of industry applications; ability to read and understand drawings and specifications, and electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams

  • Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, analyze actual results to plan and prior performance, bridge and explain variance drivers

  • Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and variance analysis and explanations to local and HQ management teams, assist with Cost and Profit Center controlling

  • Support Month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities & ongoing reporting including: Productivity, P&L / Balance Sheet reviews, Margin analysis, Journal Entries, and backlog reporting, prepare monthly commentary to explain variances between actual results and/or budget or forecasts

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA degree preferred

  • 6+ years demonstrated progressive experience in finance and / or accounting roles, multinational Software / SaaS and Professional Services organization experience preferred

  • Experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and process improvement required, detailed knowledge of financial planning and analysis techniques, superior ability to work and analyze data, project management experience

  • Knowledge of IFRS 15 concepts, including Revenue Recognition - PoC, CCM

  • Proficient with Excel & Power Point skills (Pivot, V-Lookup), SAP (FI, CO, PS) - additional digitalization tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik) are a plus

  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines, attention to detail, strong skills in working with large sets of data to understand complex models and create business insights

We are seeking an in-house Senior Counsel to join the Siemens Corporation Corporate Legal Team. As a Cloud Security

Architect, you drive and develop security concepts in close collaboration with

the service owners and vendors to address the organization's cyber security

needs and meet business demands.

This position is open to be

hired in the US, Portugal and/or Spain.

This is your

challenge:

  • Youparticipate and contribute with your cybersecurity knowledge to new andexisting Cloud projects (e.g., architecture reviews and implementationconsulting) managed by IT, external providers, or SaaS.

  • Youbridge the gap between technical specialists and management level by usinga transparent risk management approach. Assessing risks and deriveappropriate measures to reduce risks to an acceptable level.

  • Developconcepts with Cloud architectures to deliver cybersecurity resilientservices.

  • Supportand advise your internal customer on all Cybersecurity topics to implementa security concept and keep security measures in place (includingexception handling, vulnerability remediation, penetration test planning,or change requests).

  • Leadtask forces and Cybersecurity incidents together with the different teams(e.g., incident handlers, businesses, and providers). Hold the communicationchain.

  • Providetechnical insight to the Chief Cyber Security Officer by defining Cloudsecurity roadmaps, being aware of technology trends and preparing decisionpapers for relevant partners.

  • Supportyour customers within projects in all cyber security aspects to ensureefficiency and operational excellence, including actively stakeholdermanagement.

Use your skills to move forward:

  • Bachelor'sdegree in Information Security, Computer Science or similar

  • Atleast 2 years' experience in Cyber Security architectures, including Cloudtopics (e.g., AWS/Azure, SaaS, CI/CD, Cloud native security)

  • Generalknowledge of Cyber Security standards (ISO27001, NIST). Certifications area plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP).

  • Experiencein project-based work, as project coordinator and/or as consultant.

  • Ideallyyou have international experience.

  • Proficient in English.
