Our Senior Digital Deployment Specialists (Sr. DDS) are responsible for quality control and the overall accuracy/completeness of all required digital project graphics deliverables (Digital Deployment Package), and deployment of assigned projects that are managed through the Global or National Operations Center. As a Sr. DDS, you will verify all graphics are correct, assemble the complete customer solution off-site, and ensure Digital Deployment Package is complete. You will also ensure all customer and Siemens' standards are adhered to before the package is turned over to the field execution team and ensure document/package completeness, as well as perform remote support for graphics implementation.

This remote position can be located anywhere within our Northeast Zone. (NY, NJ, PA, MA, ME, RI, CT, NH)

As a Sr. Digital Deployment Specialist, you will:

  • Coordinate with PM and Operations Centers to ensure that all required documentation (i.e. graphics submittals, existing site standards, and backup) have been provided; receive and track work performed in the operations centers via workflow management software

  • Assist Graphics Integration Specialist and Graphics Designer to develop graphics submittal for customer approval

  • Work with PM and Graphics Designer to generate a comprehensive list of all required graphics for all assigned projects and to establish graphics delivery dates so that graphics are delivered as required by project schedule

  • After delivery of graphics, verify graphics package is 100% complete and ready for field installation, items to be checked include at a minimum the following: points, navigation links, mechanical accuracy, symbols, customer standards, and system functionality

  • Perform Quality Assurance on the deployment package and turn over solution to field technical resources; provide remote support for local field technicians if issues are found within graphical digital deployment package (DDP) (when remote connectivity is available)

  • Ensure that end-user standards and requirements are adhered to and that all project deliverables are accounted for and reflect customer, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and national standards

  • Update cloud-based project site with testing / reviewed results and technical documents including backups of all relevant documents

  • Act as a technical resource to all engineering/field resources and assist in setting up graphical front end for factory witness testing

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or state-recognized GED

  • Experience with graphics design

  • 2+ years' experience in the specialized area of Building Automation

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, CAD Training, or other engineering design software applications

  • Must be able to perform all tasks with minimal supervision or coaching

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Computer Science or other related technical field

  • 5+ years' experience with graphics design

  • 4+ years' experience in the specialized area of Building Automation

Position Overview:

Responsible for operating production equipment and assembling components according to drawings and guidelines to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met. They will inspect and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, bills of materials, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.

  • Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.

  • Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as calipers.

  • Drill, tap, ream, countersink, and spot-face bolt holes in parts, using drill presses and portable power drills.

  • Align, fit, or assemble component parts, using hand or power tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes.

  • Inspect parts for surface defects.

  • Verify part dimensions or clearances to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.

  • Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.

  • Drill or tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units or to provide openings for elements, wiring, or instruments.

  • Inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for operation and record results.

  • Clean up working areas and inventory tools.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • HS diploma or equivalent.

  • Extensive experience with electromechanical assembly.

  • Extensive Wiring experience.

  • Direct assembly experience reading and interpreting schematic drawings.

  • Ability to physically lift 35 pounds.

Our Senior Digital Deployment Specialists (Sr. DDS) are responsible for quality control and the overall accuracy/completeness of all required digital project graphics deliverables (Digital Deployment Package), and deployment of assigned projects that are managed through the Global or National Operations Center. As a Sr. DDS, you will verify all graphics are correct, assemble the complete customer solution off-site, and ensure Digital Deployment Package is complete. You will also ensure all customer and Siemens' standards are adhered to before the package is turned over to the field execution team and ensure document/package completeness, as well as perform remote support for graphics implementation.

This remote position can be located anywhere within our Northeast Zone. (NY, NJ, PA, MA, ME, RI, CT, NH)

As a Sr. Digital Deployment Specialist, you will:

  • Coordinate with PM and Operations Centers to ensure that all required documentation (i.e. graphics submittals, existing site standards, and backup) have been provided; receive and track work performed in the operations centers via workflow management software

  • Assist Graphics Integration Specialist and Graphics Designer to develop graphics submittal for customer approval

  • Work with PM and Graphics Designer to generate a comprehensive list of all required graphics for all assigned projects and to establish graphics delivery dates so that graphics are delivered as required by project schedule

  • After delivery of graphics, verify graphics package is 100% complete and ready for field installation, items to be checked include at a minimum the following: points, navigation links, mechanical accuracy, symbols, customer standards, and system functionality

  • Perform Quality Assurance on the deployment package and turn over solution to field technical resources; provide remote support for local field technicians if issues are found within graphical digital deployment package (DDP) (when remote connectivity is available)

  • Ensure that end-user standards and requirements are adhered to and that all project deliverables are accounted for and reflect customer, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and national standards

  • Update cloud-based project site with testing / reviewed results and technical documents including backups of all relevant documents

  • Act as a technical resource to all engineering/field resources and assist in setting up graphical front end for factory witness testing

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or state-recognized GED

  • Experience with graphics design

  • 2+ years' experience in the specialized area of Building Automation

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, CAD Training, or other engineering design software applications

  • Must be able to perform all tasks with minimal supervision or coaching

Under close supervision, the Electrical Engineering Technician will test variable frequency drives, subassemblies, various components and equipment. Reports directly to the Production Supervisor.

Your profile.

Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineering Technician Level I (Production Test Technician) will be responsible to demonstrate product functionality to pre-defined test criteria and utilizing various test equipment.

Also responsible to:

  • Assist Tech II and Tech III with connection and energizing of final product with low, medium, and high voltage.

  • Evaluate and test System Operating Programs to defined Test Plans.

  • Perform wiring, cable prepping, and assembling as per the wiring diagrams. Read and understand all related drawings including, but not limited to, assembly drawings, bill of material, test procedures

  • Troubleshoot test issues from schematics, utilize quality notification tools for escalation of issues.

  • Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work area by utilizing 5S practices and follow prescribed safety regulations.

  • Adhere to all safety policies and utilize all PPE.

  • Lift and position products to precise location using overhead crane and other material handling devices (i.e., power jack, fork truck). Move/position product as required.

  • Test, repair, and perform required maintenance of electrical distribution systems.

  • Actively participates in Safety and LEAN continual improvement initiatives.

  • Assist less experienced associates.

  • Work overtime as required.

  • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

  • Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Test equipment knowledge specifically, OHM meters, oscilloscopes, HI Potter, DMM, and Clamp-on CT's.

  • Proficient use of basic hand and power tools required.

  • Ability to perform tasks from engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and bills of materials.

  • Ability to climb to different heights and work at heights above waist level.

  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.

  • Good written and oral communication skills required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must complete and pass Essential Functional Testing

  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Excel is a plus.

As the CPM Portfolio Lead for Integrated Systems, you will direct the monitoring, maintain project books and records, and ensure the accuracy (including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g., SAP, ROCCIT) and compliance with Siemens-FRG plus local Gaap requirements. Ensures all related Project Reporting and Controlling activities of all Projects under the portfolio assigned for your team of CPM's. Reports and provide insights on project performance and portfolio performance to the Passenger Rail Head of Finance. As a Portfolio Lead you will also manage the development and the day-to-day support for your team of CPM's.

What Your Day-to-Day will look like:

  • Ensures compliance with the LoA guidelines for all commercial aspects and supports the Bid team in reviewing new business acquisition cost plans and risks.

  • Leads with the assigned Head of Project Execution (PE head) and Head of Engineering Center Competence of the portfolio(CoC Head). Ensures Project Managers and Commercial Project Managers drive the financial results according to set targets and that projects are handled professionally. Cares and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments of the project portfolio.

  • Actively communicates with customers' commercial representatives and solves commercial issues on the projects under their responsibility.

  • Together with the PE Head, the portfolio team proactively sets up a contract and claim management in the projects, including involvement and cooperation with the assigned contract manager.

  • Supports the PE head in identifying, evaluating, and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies, and response activities - taking over the full responsibility for all commercial risks and opportunities on the projects under their functional and direct accountability. Supports Project Manager in selecting and involving partners/subcontractors.

  • Serves as the first escalation point in the portfolio in the relevant decision boards internally and externally.

  • Agrees to targets with PE head, CoC head, staff, and delegates defined responsibilities and authority.

  • Manages with CoC head & PE head cost center & hourly rate targets to ensure portfolio profitability.

  • Leads and manage commercial project team members of the portfolio assigned to act according to the Business Conduct Guidelines and establishes a culture of trust and integrity.

  • Supports and guides the implementation and improvement of the PM@siemens process.

  • Foster collaboration and troubleshoots and resolve sophisticated problems within multi-departments and cross-functional areas affecting and interacting with the PM@siemens process and projects under functional and direct responsibilities.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • BS/BA in related field or advanced degree, where required. CPM Certification required (or confirmed based on experience with the Siemens CPM profile), SCPM desirable.

  • Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for areas handled and a good understanding of other areas in the company, such as manufacturing, procurement, and how they interact.

  • 8+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

  • Prior team lead experience not required, but encouraged as you will be managing a team of CPM's in your portfolio.

  • Assist Graphics Integration Specialist and Graphics Designer to develop graphics submittal for customer approval

  • Work with PM and Graphics Designer to generate a comprehensive list of all required graphics for all assigned projects and to establish graphics delivery dates so that graphics are delivered as required by project schedule

  • After delivery of graphics, verify graphics package is 100% complete and ready for field installation, items to be checked include at a minimum the following: points, navigation links, mechanical accuracy, symbols, customer standards, and system functionality

  • Perform Quality Assurance on the deployment package and turn over solution to field technical resources; provide remote support for local field technicians if issues are found within graphical digital deployment package (DDP) (when remote connectivity is available)

  • Ensure that end-user standards and requirements are adhered to and that all project deliverables are accounted for and reflect customer, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and national standards

  • Update cloud-based project site with testing / reviewed results and technical documents including backups of all relevant documents

  • Act as a technical resource to all engineering/field resources and assist in setting up graphical front end for factory witness testing

Responsible for the completion of all project commercial/financial related matters, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, New Collaboration Model (NCM) and Export Compliance and Control (ECC) topics. CPM ensures the compliance of applicable regulations during the offer and project execution phase. The CPM supports the respective Project Manager in other areas with the objective of executing the project according to the defined PM @ Siemens guidelines/standards, customer requirements and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG). A professional collaboration between the CPM and the Project Manager is key for the overall project success.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage the project throughout the project Life Cycle

  • Drives own empowerment with adequate signature authorization and project target agreement to manage the project as commercial project entrepreneur - primary projects to be worked categorized as C and 'small'

  • Supports the PM in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care (e.g. project gross profit, cash flow, assets and financing instruments)

  • Ensures an adequate handover phase, analyzes customers' requirements, examines their commercial and contractual feasibility and transferability, incl. ECC matters

  • Drives the review and evaluation of the contract conditions incl. all attachments, ensures examination by Legal

  • Supports the PM and ensures correct methodology for identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities, strategies and response activities

Manage Project Finances

  • Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project books and records, incl. recording of such in appropriate systems, e.g. SAP

  • Performs applicable requirements for month end activities

  • Prepares commercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensures the accuracy of the commercial project data (i.e. FC, cash flow)

  • Ensures compliance with Siemens FRG and local GAAP requirements

  • Ensures the application and the continuously managing of financial Guarantees, Bonds and project securities

  • Supports the PM in identifying, minimizing non-conformance costs and establishing an appropriate reporting structure; supports the implementation of lessons learned into own project and the organization in general.

The EHS Professional will serve as a strategic resource to the SI EP NA sites, provide tools and support to site leadership to achieve Siemens' EHS goals and objectives.

You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

  • Lead/participate in cross functional teams to achieve Siemens EHS goals and objectives.

  • Coordinate with site EHS Leadership Teams and Corporate Resources on EHS activities and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the site EHS and training resources on relevant EHS training programs, including but not limited to Personal Protective Equipment, Emergency Response, Hazard Communication, NFPA 70E, etc.; this may include content development/standardization and training facilitation.

  • Facilitating/Leading EHS incident investigations, including incident tracking, incident trending/analysis and recordkeeping requirements (internal and external).

  • Leading/Participating in audit activities (internal and external) including EHS regulatory compliance as well as ISO 14001 and 45001.

  • Current knowledge of existing environmental and occupational safety regulations including but not limited RCRA, CWA, Industrial Pretreatment Program, SWPPP, SPCC, TSCA, TRI, Tier II, OSHA, NFPA 70E, etc.

  • Tracking environmental related Federal, State, and Local regulatory changes known to or that may impact operations.

  • Interfacing with regulatory agencies, employees, and legal counsel on behalf of business when required, including coordination of required actions and business response as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental or a similar degree

  • 8+ years EHS experience in an industrial manufacturing environment leading other; must be able to influence without authority.

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams relative to EHS projects/initiatives (project management experience).

  • Familiar with ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management systems.

  • Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations (RCRA, DOT, CWA, TSCA, etc.) as well as OSHA regulations.

  • Must have strong verbal and written skills.

  • Individual must be self-directed with the ability to work with limited supervision.

  • Must be proficient in use of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

  • Master's degree

  • Preferred qualifications include ASP, CSP and/or CHMM.

Position overview:

As a Material Handler, you will support a broad range of activities in a dynamic, high energy warehouse environment providing all material to production departments for manufacturing the best rail vehicles in the world.

What your day would look like:

  • Specific area or responsibility may include receiving, put away, picking, kitting, or delivery of material to production.

  • Ensure transactional accuracy for all material movements - i.e. ensure the correct quantity of material is moved to the specified location, and MRP system transactions are completed correctly.

  • Ensure all material is properly identified with appropriate labels and part numbers.

  • Carefully handle material to prevent any damage during handling in the warehouse or delivery to production.

  • Immediately notify supervisor of any quality or delivery issues

  • Meet production schedule for material delivery to production.

Position overview:

The MRB/Shipping Logistics Supervisor has the primary responsibility to ensure prompt disposition and processing of MRB materials and other outbound shipments.

What your day would look like:

. Overall coordination, tracking/status of all in-house MRB material

. Ensure accuracy of status, location, and tasks associated with MRB material.

. Coordinate with other functions (Quality, Engineering, Order Management, Production) and internal customers to promptly disposition and process MRB material:

o Return parts to suppliers,

o Generates scrap authorization and obtain required approvals.

o Hold parts until missing parts are procured,

o Transfer parts to production for repair,

o Return repaired parts to warehouse.

. Review and respond to KPI's associated with MRB and shipping.

o Maintain status of open MRB items and seek closure on those items.

o Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Field Service, and Materials to identify priorities and resolve open issues.

o Assure that all QNs are dispositioned in a timely manner.

. Maintain the accuracy of identification and count of materials. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and conducting cycle counts.

What you will need to be successful:

. Requires an understanding of Customer Service, Production, and MRB.

. Previous experience in Manufacturing, Production Planning or as a Coordinator for a highly complex, low volume OEM manufacturer is desirable.

. Requires understanding of ERP Information Systems, preferably SAP.

. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs.

  • Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities. Achieve new order/booking and profit goals. Deliver on forecasted results consistently

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency

  • Senior Sales Executive = 3 + Years

  • NICET Fire Alarm Certification

  • Working knowledge of common fire and life safety systems and equipment, including but not limited to fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, suppression, nurse call, area of rescue, smoke control, digital antenna systems, etc.

We are looking for Manufacturing Engineer. This position will be based at our Grand Prairie, TX facility.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Supporting process development, improvements, and validations during the production of our products to ensure quality, cost, and efficiency requirements are met. This position investigates problems, conducts root cause analysis, and takes corrective action.

  • Responsible for the research, purchase, and implementation of new/upgraded equipment (to include the implementation of digitalization and digital processes).

Manages improvement projects that may require capital expenditures, contractors, cost savings calculations, CAD design and physical installation work

  • Applies Lean manufacturing improvements, sophisticated process changes, and technology changes including process development, training support production team on proper methods of assembly and propose improvements to build processes.

As a MAC Sprinkler Service Senior Sales Executive , you will:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitor offerings, customers, and decision influencers across the region, segments, and verticals within the region. Keep current on fire and life safety market business and product trends

  • Develop a geographic and vertical market account management plan that focuses on strategic growth. Identify new business opportunities to grow in new markets or adjacent segments and develop -go to market- strategies to drive business to the standard construction channel and the end user customer

  • Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities. Achieve new order/booking and profit goals. Deliver on forecasted results consistently

  • Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes

  • Partner with other sales division teams to plan, target, and acquire new projects and accounts.

  • Attend industry-specific networking events; actively participate in professional organizations such as NFPA, NFSA, ASHE, NBFAA, AFAA, AGC, ABC, NEMA, NECA, etc. to build a network of contacts and to represent Siemens in the market

  • Work jointly with the multiple levels of the customer's organization to understand and document their business goals and success metrics

  • Perform customer site surveys to support the development of multi-offering estimates and proposals across a broad fire and life safety portfolio

  • Develop value-based proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations. Work with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources to obtain the sale

  • Ensure a smooth sales-to-operations turnover and follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion. Maintain relationships with customers to ensure highest satisfaction levels and future business

  • Actively participate in sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay knowledgeable on current market, business, and product trends

  • Travel overnight up to 10% for training and business development

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency

  • Experience in sales, business development, or consulting within the commercial fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, life safety, or similar commercial building/construction industries

  • Senior Sales Executive = 3 + Years

  • NICET Fire Alarm Certification

  • Senior Sales Executive = NICET Level I or II Fire Alarm Certification or must complete certification testing within 2 years.

  • Working knowledge of common fire and life safety systems and equipment, including but not limited to fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, suppression, nurse call, area of rescue, smoke control, digital antenna systems, etc.

  • Familiarity with building and fire alarm codes and standards (IFC, IBC, NFPA, CMS, etc.)

  • Experience managing tier construction and end-user accounts and performing fire alarm and/or sprinkler design services

  • Financial expertise to estimate and sell technical solutions and service product lines effectively and independently

  • Account development and strategic sales skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

  • Develop value-based proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations. Work with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources to obtain the sale.

  • Two-year certificate from an accredited technical school or bachelor's degree in engineering; a combination of education and experience will also be considered

This position performs installation, startup, and commissioning of building automation system equipment that has been newly installed. The objectives of building automation are improved occupant comfort, efficient operation of building systems, reduction in energy consumption and operating costs, and improved life cycle of utilities. You will complete verification and commissioning of complex system database and programming operations, ensuring consistency with the scope of work and sequence of operations. You will also be responsible for completing required project and service documentation. You will be responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, onsite customer interaction. You will diagnose and repair complex control system malfunctions, and you will serve as a subject matter expert to others. This role is a highly technical position that will offer our clients expert level installation of building automation controls primarily around commercial HVAC systems for data centers. This is a non-office-based position reporting to the Field Supervisor and Operations manager. This position will require approximately 75% travel within the continental US. Building Automation System/PLC experience is desired.

As a Building Automation Site Installation Technician, you will :

  • Review and provide feedback on customer data center building automation designs. Produce programs and test scripts to meet data center sequence of operations. Lead software and factory witness testing activities per the project requirements.

  • Attend pre-booking meetings to gain knowledge of the sales estimate and project scope. Analyze plans, specifications, and contract details to determine system requirements. Select products and determine appropriate placement to meet specifications.

  • Design small or medium sized building automation systems consisting of mechanical system layouts, electrical drawings, bills of materials, sequences of operations, valve and damper schedules, and DDC panel layouts to meet the intent of project plans, specifications, and contract documents.

  • Design network architecture to support operator workstations, DDC field panels, and third-party integration devices connected through Ethernet, Siemens P1, LonWorks, Modbus or BACNET.

  • Create automation system databases and job-related programming for computer-based building control systems. Establish special calibration instructions on selected equipment. Oversee the creation of system graphics. Troubleshoot issues, including identifying and debugging software, and diagnosing electrical or pneumatic installation problems.

  • Organize and maintain job documentation. Prepare engineering re-estimate reports.

  • Provide on-site assistance with or perform programming, start-up, checkout, commissioning, and validation processes. Participate in job site final walk-through, complete all job closeout documentation, and provide customer training.

  • Act as technical resource to customers and field employees.

  • Coordinate work with subcontractors.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree preferred.

  • Experience installing or servicing HVAC controls systems; 7+ years preferred.

  • Building Automation Systems/PCL experience desired

  • Demonstrated experience in various controls programming language. BAS/PLC programming preferred.

  • Knowledge of engineering fundamentals, HVAC, mechanical systems, business operations, and job financial reports.

  • Able to read/interpret electrical circuit diagrams.

  • Skilled in programming, job start-up, checkout, and troubleshooting complex projects.

  • Demonstrated experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols such as BACNet, N2, Modbus, etc.

  • Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions.

  • Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet.

  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.

  • Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and AutoCAD

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
