Amazon North America Customer Fulfillment

The Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager will be responsible for partnering with site level operations team for their assigned site in order to execute company WHS policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations. By leveraging lean principles and Kaizen events, this Senior Safety Manager will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our associates. The Senior Site EHS Manager must demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the operations team and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.

The Senior Site WHS Manager must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. This Senior Safety Manger must instruct and train operations managers and site WHS professionals in company EHS policies and assist the regional teams in incorporating our safety standards at their site. The Senior Site WHS Manager will be required to identify best practices and incorporate these best practices into our standards to continuously improve company safety policies. Must possess excellent safety program and relevant safety, environmental and ergonomic knowledge and demonstrates this expertise when working with operations.

The Senior Site WHS Manager will be responsible to develop a team of safety managers and safety professionals at a site. This Senior Safety Manger must create and execute leadership development plans for their team. This Senior Safety Manger must communicate safety team expectations and give frequent and appropriate feedback to the safety teams and ensure they are executing to the core competencies of an Amazon safety professional. This Senior Safety Manger must also demonstrate the ability to judge and assess safety talent and select appropriate bench strength to current and future business needs.

Senior Site WHS Manager Responsibilities:

  • Possess a thorough understanding of local/regional regulations and company policy.

  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon Safety Policies.

  • Measure the FC performance against published requirements in safety policies. For all deficiencies, identify a plan for the site to implement and fix all identified deficiencies.

  • Ensure safety record keeping and data integrity and provides Operations with accurate reporting and metrics to support business safety initiatives.

  • Deliver on-time and quality projects to Operations. Deliver quality projects on time to Operations.

  • Deep Dive safety metrics and review incident weekly and monthly incident trends to discover trends to justify the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where the safety risk is highest.

  • Deep Dive trends and propose action plans to Sr. Leadership on site.

  • Audit record keeping practices and Global Safety Database entries to ensure compliance to global safety standards and local regulations.

  • Audit the workplace organization and Associate behaviors to ensure that training, auditing and scoring methods are accurate and consistent.

  • Manage and mentor the FC Safety Manager and Safety Associates in your assigned FC.

  • Engage the Injury Prevention Specialists (IPS) and Site Leadership to drive long-term strategic actions to achieve incident reduction.

  • Lead soft tissue injury reduction efforts with IPS by performing targeted Kaizen events in partnership with the Operations teams based on the risks identified in each task (force, repetition, and awkward postures).

  • Ensure site leadership and associates are trained and knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy. Audit the quality, delivery (including qualifications of the trainer), and effectiveness of all required safety training.

  • Review for effectiveness the deployed safety tools and revise to ensure continual improvement.

  • Partner with corporate and other regional field safety personnel to leverage global safety and environmental best practices into NA network standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years' of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.

  • BS/BA in Safety, Environmental, Ergonomics or a related field required

The Amazon Music Business Development team is looking for a Senior Manager, Product Management - Technical to lead our Partner & Developer products and services. Your team drives the integration of Amazon Music on 3rd party devices and applications through self-service developer tools, solution architecture services, and custom/bespoke solutions. This role drives the roadmap for a set of core software services for partners (e.g. 3P APIs, SDKs, onboarding tools) but also must index highly on innovation/flexibility when building new, custom integrations that haven't been done before, particularly in spaces like social and gaming. The team is comprised of product, engineering, and solutions architecture and works closely with BD, partner marketing, UX, legal, CAM, and the broader product/engineering organization, in addition to working directly with 3P partners. This is a global team that is spread across the US, Mexico, and Europe. This is a key leadership position on the AM BD team, and in addition to overseeing your team you will help the broader BD organization operate more efficiently (owning mechanisms, helping to establish goals, and overseeing OP1/OP2) and helping up-level product-led thinking across the board.

  • Develop long-term product strategy for 3rd party developer services and tools, which includes APIs, SDKs/Toolkits, and Self-Service Onboarding.

As an Owner, you will strive to ensure the water treatment features of our buildings protect our people and keep our customer's data safe and uninterrupted over the life of the building. We expect you to contribute your expertise to the continual improvement of our water system design standards.

Primary responsibilities will be to perform and oversee project-related work, such as water supply analysis and design for buildings, including coordination with utilities and internal water teams to establish basic site infrastructure requirements. The ability to coordinate mechanical system space requirements, supporting utilities, and equipment locations, and to provide detailed construction specifications for water treatment systems. You will typically be responsible for the preparation of detailed designs for hydronic systems. Amazon is seeking a self-starter to join the AWS Water team in pioneering the future for data center water supply in how AWS delivers water projects and partners with water utilities/companies across the United States. In this role, you will manage multiple, large scale and technically complex water infrastructure projects across multiple geographies by facilitating close collaboration between both internal and external stakeholders. Internally, responsibilities include large portfolio project management, reporting status, risks, mitigations and successes to leadership, as well as influencing multiple cross-functional partner teams in the overall data center water delivery business process. Externally, this role takes ownership of managing utility relationships, and contracting with the utility and/or Owner's Engineer. The individual will be part of an integrated team to implement a fast scaling portfolio of water infrastructure projects that meets and exceeds AWS' water program requirements, ultimately delivering projects on time, with tangible reliability and cost-saving results.

Key job responsibilities

The Senior Water Strategy Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Support the development and execution of our water supply and infrastructure strategy for AWS data centers in multiple parts of the Americas

  • Work collaboratively with Amazon Infrastructure teams to support the development of strategic water sourcing opportunities for large-scale, multi-year development projects

  • Develop and negotiate terms for water and wastewater supply contracts with public and private utilities.

Basic Qualifications

The Pan-Amazon Threat Intelligence team, part of Amazon Cyber Threat Intelligence (ACTI), is responsible for developing actionable intelligence on advanced cyber threats to Amazon and its subsidiaries. We obtain indicators and intelligence from a variety of internal and external sources and use that information to develop an understanding of sophisticated actors and their tools, techniques, and procedures. We then leverage that understanding to proactively identify and mitigate malicious activity as well as assist Incident Response and Fraud teams with their investigations.

The successful candidate will analyze indicators to generate actionable intelligence and insight into current threats. As a Security Intelligence Engineer, you will help enhance our capabilities by formulating new analytic techniques and working across teams to drive the supporting capabilities. A deep understanding of current cyber threat actors and TTPs as well as experience performing question-driven analysis is required. You will leverage your understanding of networking- and host-based indicators, digital forensics, and database querying as you investigate incidents and threats as well.
