  • Monitor MHE metrics and partner with maintenance/operations for system performance issues and provide analysis across all Amazon business units.

  • Act as first level escalation support for the site Control Systems Engineers during and after business hours, troubleshooting locally and remotely and repair all hardware or controls software systems within the building.

  • Appropriately escalate downtime situations to vendors or headquarters for support to restore equipment operation.

  • Mentor CSEs, CSLs and CSTs within your assigned building.

  • Facilitate Failure Analysis and Incident Review processes and implement process improvements or retraining to avoid future incidents.

Key job responsibilities

  • Helping shape Manufacturing customers' long-term, strategic, transformational roadmaps, having a high.

  • Bias for Action to Deliver Results in ProServe and Platform bookings in the near term.

  • Establishing Executive relationships across Technology & Business groups, becoming a strategic advisor and expert with deep knowledge of the cross-section of the customers' business and available technology solutions.

  • Preparing and presenting technical and commercial proposals to Manufacturing Chief Experience Officer (CxO) leaders that articulate accelerated business outcomes through cloud technologies.

  • Working with the AWS internal network, including specialist experts across AWS product and specialist resources as well as Account team, Partner team, Finance, and Legal.

  • Delivering on annual bookings targets with deal structure aligned with key customer goals and AWS Professional Services business objectives

AWS Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer. The main focus of Professional Services is to help our customers with defining and accelerating their Cloud Journey using the Cloud Adoption Framework:

  • Digital Optimization - Helping our clients accelerate the migration of existing workloads and infrastructure into the cloud across multiple business units and regions

  • Digital Innovation - Defining new business applications and offerings making use of the latest powerful AWS capabilities such as; Data Analytics, IoT and Machine Learning.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of managing a book of business with sales and revenue targets in a consulting/professional services business setting

  • 3+ years working in the Industrial Manufacturing sector as a consultant or part of a Professional Services organization

  • Business development experience including multiyear, multiple service offering proposals resulting in contracts with +$10M total contract value.

About the team

AWS T&C - Shared Services team will be supporting the T&C's long term strategy, which envisions a customer experience where all training modalities-instructor led training, digital learning, video-game based learning, certification prep, exams, etc. are available for purchase by individual and business customers in a central place. This will allow individuals to shop for T&C products in a central cart and for businesses to centrally manage spend and entitlements for T&C products. After first utilizing third-party software and vendors to get to market quickly, Shared Services is now investing in first-party solutions to enable all of the delightful T&C experiences we have in mind for our customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Preferred Qualifications

- - 4+ years of professional software development experience

- - 1+ years of experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS or other cloud providers

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. This Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of internal and external customer experience requirements, and in some cases, delivery of a formal report out to the R&R leadership. As an owner of this process, the candidate will consistently capture key data points gathered to generate and monitor metrics, while driving continuous improvement initiatives within the return transportation process. They will work with stakeholders across the R&R organization to identify root causes, ensure SLA's are being met, and submit changes to business teams and 1P/3P returns partners as needed, to raise the bar in returns transportation. They will leverage the captured data to promote policy changes and to provide deep dives into key areas of opportunity.

Key job responsibilities

Support and influence Safety processes within returns transportation.

Analyze and monitor network fluidity and optimization.

Review, monitor, and report relevant KPI's to internal and external partners.

Support tasks driving continuous improvement of returns transportation carriers in NA marketplace.

Collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure and drive process excellence.
