Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Technician to join our Quality department. The Quality Technician will be responsible for conducting tests and inspections on incoming materials and products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. This role involves detailed documentation, analysis, and collaboration with the Receiving & Inspection team to maintain and improve product quality.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors.

  • Reject products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.

  • Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand product requirements.

  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to specifications.

  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.

  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.

  • Guide the Receiving & Inspection team about quality control concerns to improve product perfection.

  • Supervise the standard process to ensure production lines meet quality standards.

  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize statistical quality data for improvement purposes.

  • Ensure safety regulations and industry standards are met to maintain an efficient working environment.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • High school education or equivalent. Requires a minimum of seven to ten years of increasingly difficult inspection experience involving the application and proven understanding of sophisticated measuring equipment techniques, specification interpretation, and quality control terminology.

  • Proven experience as a Quality Technician or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.

  • Proficiency in using measuring and testing equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with the production team.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materials.

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment exposed to noise, dust, and other elements.

  • Visit local Vendor for source inspection.

This position is based in Sacramento, CA. We offer a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
