Apple Display Engineering Team is looking for a Display electrical engineer. This is a design engineering position that entails working with multi-functional groups to continually innovate the technology implemented in Apple products. You will drive display module EE design, from concept phase, all the way through engineering builds, and into volume manufacturing. You will work with internal and external teams to ensure a coherent end-to-end solution.
Description
As a Display Electrical Engineer, you will drive display module electrical design for new product introduction, from prototypes to mass production. You will be designing exciting new products using state-of-the-art display technology that pushes the envelope of what is possible. Specifically, you will design high speed PCBs, generate schematics, guide layout engineers, and debug PCB boards. You will conduct failure analysis, finding root cause and proposing corrective actions to improve product quality and yield. You will collaborate with cross functional teams like Optics, ME, and SW to build a high-quality seamless product from end to end.
Minimum Qualifications
BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
EE design including component selection, schematic capture, and layout
Hands on experience with HW bring-up, validation, and failure analysis
Proficiency with EE lab tools such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, TDR, thermal camera, basic soldering
Coding or scripting proficiency with Python, Matlab, or similar tools
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
MS, or PhD in EE or related field
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience working with cross functional teams on multi-disciplinary HW designs (HW, FW, SW, Mechanical/Thermal, Optical)
Experience in one or more of the following areas: power (DC-DC converters, power management, low power design), analog and mixed-signal circuit design
Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
