As member of Xylem's Product Security team, the Senior Product Security Engineer is responsible for the implementation and execution of security programs and practices to support a growing, global water technology company. This position will work across software and firmware development teams to identify component and system level technical risks and evaluate critical failure points, determine technical security controls to mitigate risks, and work with cross functional teams to implement features according to product road maps.

You will support security standards implementation, penetration testing and PSIRT programs of for our entire product portfolio. Your passion for security and in-depth knowledge of Product Security will ensure that you deliver high impact results.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

• Work with the business, devops and systems teams to support security integration into implementing new solutions, products and modules

• Conduct security architecture and technical assessments for a wide range of products, including embedded devices, enterprise software solutions, and mobile apps

• Engage in application and domain-specific threat modeling and attack surface analysis and reduction

• Provide guidance and leadership on best practices regarding security in software and firmware development

• Champion the Xylem security SDLC. This includes security testing, penetration testing, and identifying and fixing vulnerabilities in software and applications on all Xylem products.

• Implement or manage the implementation of common application security controls

• Assist other developers in remediating vulnerability findings by providing line-by-line guidance.

• Provide training and education to developers on software security best practices.

• Deliver key shared services to Xylem business units in the areas of software security, risk management, product inventory, and security testing

Required Qualifications:

Minimal education & experience, essential skills & abilities and required license/certification to perform this job.

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 7 to 10 years of experience

• Demonstrated expertise in product/application security architecture, Network security, application security, web services

• Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA and penetration testing tools

• In-depth experience identifying and protecting against web application and web service security vulnerabilities including those found in the OWASP Top 10 IoT Top 10 and CWE Top 25

• Meaningful experience in multiple programming languages

• Solid knowledge of the browser security model, crypto, and network security. Attacker mindset: Real passion for breaking all the things unbreakable.

• Knowledge of secure infrastructure architectures, application architectures, encryption, Cloud Security and broader security technologies.

• Strong operating systems knowledge Windows (all flavors), Debian Linux

• Experience on firmware security- or -IoT security- or -platform Security- any one is a must.

• IoT network technologies (such as Bluetooth/BLE, WLAN, Z-Wave, Zigbee, identity/auth security)

• Experience with wireless technologies such as CDMA, E-HRPD, GSM, UMTS, TDS-CDMA, LTE-FDD / LTE-TDD, and 5Gexperience with Android RIL, Telephony, C and Embedded RTOS.

• Scripting knowledge Linux scripting (bash), Windows scripting, Python or Perl

• Awareness of secure coding, especially in OWASP top 10

• Good knowledge or experience in software security such as crypto, encryption, PKI, web security

• OSCP & GWAPT

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant cyber security certifications

• Scripting skills (i.e.: Ruby, Python, Perl, shell scripts)

SALARY:

The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. The Role: Xylem seeks to hire a Quality Analyst for the Applied Water Systems division who will develop, implement and maintain quality system requirements on assigned areas of manufacturing and warranty. • Manage and execute the strategic projects related to Quality Assurance

• Provide treatment process technical support to sales, tendering, field service, engineering and project management staff.

• Mentor / train operators in quality assurance (QA) concepts and quality control (QC) methods

• Member of the Material Review Board (MRB).

• Work on continuous improvement activities. These may include participating in, and/or leading Quality Improvement Teams

• Provide quality reports and review trending on assigned areas of responsibility.

• Conduct failure investigations and problem analysis regarding customer complaints, stock evaluations, warranty returns, and CAPAs (internal or audit CAPAs).

• Support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Inspection, Distribution and/or Product Development Groups in order to assure quality.

Qualifications:

• Project Management skills

• High degree of Root Cause problem solving capability

• BS degree in Engineering or technical field

• Experience in manufacturing environment minimum 1-3 years

• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Reliability/Warranty Engineering experience

• Broad knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Standard

• Broad knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, Blueprint Reading, Basic Metrology,

• Broad knowledge of PFMEA and Quality Plan Development.

• Strong Statistical ability and experience including Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility, Statistical Process Control, Process Capability and Design of Experiments.

Job Summary :

The Global SAP S4 Plan to Make IT Lead will identify and define a global strategy that innovates, simplifies, delivers and supports Xylem's ERP ecosystem around the globe. The Lead will serve as an expert resource to Lead the Xylem ERP Program Plan to Make IT Team. This includes the Global Template Definition, Build, Localization, and Deployment across the Globe.

This role also requires the Lead to harmonize the Plan to Make solutions with other enterprise technologies including but not limited to the data management, business intelligence, sales and operations, manufacturing and engineering solution sets throughout their respective lifecycles.

The Lead will interact with all levels within the company, including technical and business leads across various functional organizations who will help define the strategic approach within a complex and diverse ERP landscape. He or she will oversee P2M projects to execute the roadmap in the most efficient and effective manner, including implementation, configuration, development and operational support of all ERP systems. The Lead will provide both technical and people leadership coupled with broad and deep hands-on ERP experience.

Essential Duties/ Principal Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with IT leadership, business leadership, internal and external subject matter experts to define and align the ERP strategy with Xylem's and IT's overarching strategies. Continuously seek to improve the ERP P2M ecosystem and streamline operations to improve performance, reduce costs and increase agility to respond to changing business needs.

Follow established development methodologies and best practice enterprise architecture standards to harmonize the ERP Plan to Make strategy with the overarching Xylem information systems architecture, standards and strategies. Participate as a key contributor to the ever-evolving Xylem enterprise architecture and information framework, working collaboratively across the various IT service delivery teams.

Development and Operations:

Oversee the ERP Plan to Make Team organization that provides global development, configuration and operational support. Collaborate with Enterprise Applications Peer process leaders to manage demand, set priorities, estimate and deliver projects within scope, schedule, budget and quality metrics. Ensure the security, availability and performance of the ERP P2M landscape.

Build innovative solutions to reduce complexity and simplify the application landscape. Source internal and external technical resources. Balance business needs with effective and agile software development practices. Establish standards and tools across the P2M team based on industry best-practices, leveraging both agile, iterative and waterfall development methodologies and DevOps processes as appropriate.

Partner with enterprise applications process leads, integration, master data management, database administration, infrastructure and security teams, business subject matter experts and external vendors to provide end-to-end support of global ERP applications and supporting systems and services. Help establish global Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure they are met or exceeded. Monitor and report on SLA performance. Ensure response to escalated Plan to Make issues/incidents.

Oversee project management activities for ERP Plan to Make projects where needed. Collaborate to standardize key processes and systems. Ensure adherence to all defined policies, procedures and standards. Collaborate with the Training and Communications team to provide Plan to Make eLearning to end users.

Stay current on new technologies impacting the ERP ecosystem. Research and continuously improve ERP functionality, availability and performance. Participate in architecture committees. Ensure maximum, measured efficiency and effectiveness of ERP systems.

Staff Management:

Provide training, coaching, mentoring, supervising and evaluation of staff to maintain optimum performance of job duties. Create accountable, motivated and continuously learning teams. Ensure the successful transfer of knowledge from the existing and future ERP systems. Coach direct reports to develop, nurture and build solid relationships with their business partner counterparts. Ensure collaboration and efficiency between internal and external team members. Resolve all issues and points of conflict within your team, the business partner organization, and escalate to leadership as required.

Governance

Contribute as a member of the Enterprise Back Office Solutions leadership team. Represent the Plan to Make team in governance bodies, including architecture, change and demand management committees and strategy discussions. Ensure compliance to all statutory and legal requirements in countries where ERP systems are used and provide support to Corporate Audit's efforts in conducting and continuously improving the risk management activities across ERP systems. Help establish and participate in ERP System User Groups.

Ensure adherence to Xylem's Smart Steps project management methodology, support business case development and approve relevant project documentation.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES:

Comply with all regulatory, Legal and Human Resources mandates. Assure all established mandates are adhered to by staff.

Lead the Xylem Global ERP Team providing development, configuration and operations services.

Develop and align the strategy for global systems with both Xylem business strategy and enterprise architecture.

Provide vision, leadership and management for developing, implementing and servicing systems.

Establish and foster solid relationships with service and software vendor partners.

Ensure the success of all Plan to Make projects through direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Contribute to project estimates, assign resources to projects, conduct feasibility studies, and participate in technical solution evaluations.

Be accountable for Plan to Make system design, development and configuration, unit and system testing and deployment, ensuring quality products and services. Ensure the safe deployment of all application changes, releases and upgrades in the ERP system landscape.

Ensure successful Level 2 and Level 3 application support activities. Establish and ensure that SLAs are met or exceeded. Proactively monitor and report on SLA performance.

Collaborate with the Training and Communications team to develop effective e-learning training materials and delivery methods.

Lead monitoring activities for all Plan to Make processes to ensure conformance to local statutory requirements and corporate policies and standards. Stay abreast of current rules in ensuring compliance.

Keep current with new technologies and trends. Review and evaluate the capabilities of existing systems and recommend solutions for replacing or improving ineffective systems or processes. Identify and implement best practices.

THE ROLE : The Director, IT Data Architecture and Strategy leads the design, development and implementation of business intelligence, analytics, data warehouse, and master data management solutions and strategies. THE ROLE : The Director, IT Data Architecture and Strategy leads the design, development and implementation of business intelligence, analytics, data warehouse, and master data management solutions and strategies. This professional will direct the design of the data infrastructure and architecture to serve both short term and long term needs of the business which align with industry best practices. The individual will be a data advocate to the business, educating them on the -art of the possible-. They will be responsible for partnering with the VP of Data & Digital to create a strategic roadmap ultimately enabling a to a data driven organization.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Create, maintain and support the data strategy and architectural designs working with data leadership team.

• Design a data fabric technical architecture including documentation of current state with a best practice future state

• Participate in addressing enterprise-wide platform and technology requirements for data solutions as well as educate the business on the art of the possible.

• Create best practices for business analysis, design, architecture, development, unit testing, quality testing, integration and delivery, and maintenance and support for data assets.

• Enable generative AI data assets and Machine Learning models to drive predictive/prescriptive analytics with the business.

• Excel in a fast past environment, while providing a high level of quality and control. Provide thought leadership and a vision for the future of data while providing a scalable platform for speed and efficiency.

• Work closely with business SME personnel to develop and maintain a functional understanding and documentation of the business use of applications and what processes have been developed against the data and functions associated with those applications as well as any data challenges that may exist.

• Lead and/or participate in requirement gathering and issue resolution meetings with technical and business resources. Be able to create business requirements definition, functional, system design and technical specifications that are detailed, complete and in compliance with Xylem's IT standards.

• Use existing or seek out emerging industry practices when solving business problems.

• Conduct training as you deploy data assets

• Ensures compliance of government or regulatory standards (SOX, PCI, internal audit, external audit, etc.).

• Accountable and responsible for collaborating with our business-facing teams for Operations across all Xylem's sites.

• Engage with the ERP team handle governance, planning, acquisition, development, and delivery of new and existing data capabilities in ERP.

• Partner with the IT, Enterprise Digital Strategy Director and other digital leaders to be a thought leader, helping to drive Xylem's digital innovation ambitions. Align data strategies and roadmaps to enable digital initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of Information Systems experience; OR Master's degree and 8 years of Information Systems experience; or Bachelor's degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience.

• Data Fabric (ETL/ELT, Lake, Warehouse, BI) Design & Development Experience

• Project and product management

• Business Analyst Experience

• AI/ML & Data Science Experience a plus

• Effective written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to interact with users of varying levels of technological understanding.

• Strong technical documentation skills.

• Possesses good time management skills and has the ability to self-manage support/issue priorities.

• Ability to prioritize, lead, and direct multi-functional teams to address and solve technical and business issues.

Technical Knowledge

• 7 or more years of experience in the deploying and supporting of complex solutions using data technologies.

• Data Bricks, ETL/ELT Tools, BI Tools (Power BI Preferred), experience

• Experience bringing data from many diverse systems including many ERPs

• Experience working effectively in a globally dispersed team environment.

• Leadership and accountability to maintain relationships with peers and customers.

• Experience in people management, talent development and performance management.

• Experience in resource and performance management.

• Management experience in all aspects of an information systems environment.

• Demonstrable ability to coordinate or lead multiple projects and activities with relevant priorities.

• Understand service models and prioritization based on impacts on business operations.

DAY IN THE LIFE :

In this role, the working environment is generally in an office setting and may be performed remotely. The physical demands may include but are not limited to moving around in an office environment, frequent oral communication, close vision, and ability to operate office equipment. Up to 20% time spent traveling.

SALARY :

The estimated salary range at this professional level is $132,000 to $237,500 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
