As member of Xylem's Product Security team, the Senior Product Security Engineer is responsible for the implementation and execution of security programs and practices to support a growing, global water technology company. This position will work across software and firmware development teams to identify component and system level technical risks and evaluate critical failure points, determine technical security controls to mitigate risks, and work with cross functional teams to implement features according to product road maps.
You will support security standards implementation, penetration testing and PSIRT programs of for our entire product portfolio. Your passion for security and in-depth knowledge of Product Security will ensure that you deliver high impact results.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Work with the business, devops and systems teams to support security integration into implementing new solutions, products and modules
Conduct security architecture and technical assessments for a wide range of products, including embedded devices, enterprise software solutions, and mobile apps
Engage in application and domain-specific threat modeling and attack surface analysis and reduction
Provide guidance and leadership on best practices regarding security in software and firmware development
Champion the Xylem security SDLC. This includes security testing, penetration testing, and identifying and fixing vulnerabilities in software and applications on all Xylem products.
Implement or manage the implementation of common application security controls
Assist other developers in remediating vulnerability findings by providing line-by-line guidance.
Provide training and education to developers on software security best practices.
Deliver key shared services to Xylem business units in the areas of software security, risk management, product inventory, and security testing
Required Qualifications:
Minimal education & experience, essential skills & abilities and required license/certification to perform this job.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 7 to 10 years of experience
Demonstrated expertise in product/application security architecture, Network security, application security, web services
Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA and penetration testing tools
In-depth experience identifying and protecting against web application and web service security vulnerabilities including those found in the OWASP Top 10 IoT Top 10 and CWE Top 25
Meaningful experience in multiple programming languages
Solid knowledge of the browser security model, crypto, and network security. Attacker mindset: Real passion for breaking all the things unbreakable.
Knowledge of secure infrastructure architectures, application architectures, encryption, Cloud Security and broader security technologies.
Strong operating systems knowledge Windows (all flavors), Debian Linux
Experience on firmware security- or -IoT security- or -platform Security- any one is a must.
IoT network technologies (such as Bluetooth/BLE, WLAN, Z-Wave, Zigbee, identity/auth security)
Experience with wireless technologies such as CDMA, E-HRPD, GSM, UMTS, TDS-CDMA, LTE-FDD / LTE-TDD, and 5Gexperience with Android RIL, Telephony, C and Embedded RTOS.
Scripting knowledge Linux scripting (bash), Windows scripting, Python or Perl
Awareness of secure coding, especially in OWASP top 10
Good knowledge or experience in software security such as crypto, encryption, PKI, web security
OSCP & GWAPT
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant cyber security certifications
Scripting skills (i.e.: Ruby, Python, Perl, shell scripts)

SALARY:
The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. The Role: Xylem seeks to hire a Quality Analyst for the Applied Water Systems division who will develop, implement and maintain quality system requirements on assigned areas of manufacturing and warranty. Core Responsibilities:
Manage and execute the strategic projects related to Quality Assurance
Promote use of new technologies to innovate and provide a competitive advantage.
Ensure developed products meet quality and reliability goals. Serve as consultant for launched product continual improvement and assist in troubleshooting customers' product related concerns.
Provide treatment process technical support to sales, tendering, field service, engineering and project management staff.
Develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals from concept process development to new product launch.
Mentor / train operators in quality assurance (QA) concepts and quality control (QC) methods
Member of the Material Review Board (MRB).
Communicate and resolve quality issues and apply root cause analysis to drive corrective and preventive actions
Work on continuous improvement activities. These may include participating in, and/or leading Quality Improvement Teams
Provide quality reports and review trending on assigned areas of responsibility.
Conduct failure investigations and problem analysis regarding customer complaints, stock evaluations, warranty returns, and CAPAs (internal or audit CAPAs).
Support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Inspection, Distribution and/or Product Development Groups in order to assure quality.
Qualifications:
Project Management skills
High degree of Root Cause problem solving capability
BS degree in Engineering or technical field
Experience in manufacturing environment minimum 1-3 years
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Reliability/Warranty Engineering experience
Broad knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Standard

As member of Xylem's Product Security team, the Senior Product Security Engineer is responsible for the implementation and execution of security programs and practices to support a growing, global water technology company. Job Summary :
The Global SAP S4 Plan to Make IT Lead will identify and define a global strategy that innovates, simplifies, delivers and supports Xylem's ERP ecosystem around the globe. Development and Operations:

Ensure the security, availability and performance of the ERP P2M landscape.
Build innovative solutions to reduce complexity and simplify the application landscape. Source internal and external technical resources. Establish standards and tools across the P2M team based on industry best-practices, leveraging both agile, iterative and waterfall development methodologies and DevOps processes as appropriate.

Staff Management:

Ensure collaboration and efficiency between internal and external team members. Governance
Contribute as a member of the Enterprise Back Office Solutions leadership team. Represent the Plan to Make team in governance bodies, including architecture, change and demand management committees and strategy discussions. Ensure compliance to all statutory and legal requirements in countries where ERP systems are used and provide support to Corporate Audit's efforts in conducting and continuously improving the risk management activities across ERP systems. Help establish and participate in ERP System User Groups.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience of development and administration of web sites and web applications
Excellent knowledge of web development process
Good knowledge of Agile project management processes
Good knowledge of CMS concepts
Good knowledge of Optimizely and/or SharePoint
Good knowledge of windows server and certificate management
Good knowledge of DNS and domain name management
Good knowledge of cloud concepts and web infrastructure (Caching, CDN, Load balancing, latency)
General knowledge of CSS and JavaScript
Deep general understanding of web technologies
Ability to be objective in all communication with end users relating to the tower application portfolio, domain portfolio and enterprise standards
Preferred Qualifications and skills:
Previous experience in creating and managing Power Apps
Previous experience in creating solutions in Optimizely (Formally EPiServer)
Previous experience with E-Commerce and working with ERP systems

SALARY:
The estimated salary range at this professional level is $90,000 to $105,000. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. Lead and/or participate in requirement gathering and issue resolution meetings with technical and business resources. Be able to create business requirements definition, functional, system design and technical specifications that are detailed, complete and in compliance with Xylem's IT standards.
Use existing or seek out emerging industry practices when solving business problems.
Conduct training as you deploy data assets
Ensures compliance of government or regulatory standards (SOX, PCI, internal audit, external audit, etc.).
Accountable and responsible for collaborating with our business-facing teams for Operations across all Xylem's sites.
Engage with the ERP team handle governance, planning, acquisition, development, and delivery of new and existing data capabilities in ERP.
Partner with the IT, Enterprise Digital Strategy Director and other digital leaders to be a thought leader, helping to drive Xylem's digital innovation ambitions. Align data strategies and roadmaps to enable digital initiatives.
