The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of marketing communications tactical campaigns, supporting the growth strategy of a vertical market within a specified geography. In this role, the incumbent will also drive market-specific campaigns that build awareness and generate demand for Xylem's products and services. The Marketing Specialist will also collaborate with shared services department to leverage internal resources and manage relationships with external partners to successfully execute online and offline marketing communications campaigns.

Understands the vertical market value chain total requirements and together with vertical marketing leader, creates compelling value propositions per stakeholder aligned with corporate market/brand positioning.
Responsible for initiatives including communications content for new product introductions and launches, the treatment of the products brands within the segment, product/program naming, advertising and promotion to attract segment targets
Manages communications messaging, positioning and content development initiatives by tightly aligning and collaborating with the Vertical Marketing and GC Communications team for program execution and deployment through online and offline marketing communications campaigns.
Oversees consistent and effective content creation, customer messaging and digital campaign development that aligns with the growth objectives of the business
Creates and launches integrated marketing campaigns by managing campaign implementation.
Ensures consistency and continuity in presentation of the Xylem brand and the company's product brands.
Education and Experience:
BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
2-5 years relevant experience working
Industry knowledge helpful

Day in the Life: In this role, the working environment is that of an office environment. and the physical demands may include but not limited to regularly sitting, standing, bending, lifting up to 20 lbs, etc. In addition, this role may require regular travel within the region and at times, up to 10-15% as a regular part of the job.
SALARY : The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $90,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. THE ROLE : The Sr. Continuous Improvement Specialist is accountable to develop, implement and sustain process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and transform the current culture to a culture of continuous improvement. QUALIFICATIONS :
BS/BA Degree

5 to 10 years of successful execution of continuous improvement / Lean / Six Sigma efforts and enabling efficiency, effectiveness and tangible financial benefit
Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Hands-on and demonstrated experience with continuous improvement programs including deployment of lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies
Experience in facilitating workshop, kaizen and training events.
Demonstrated successful project management experience and acumen
Comfortable with ambiguity

QUALIFICATIONS :
Degree in natural resources, chemistry, environmental, physical sciences or electronics engineering. Prior customer service experience is required.
At least 2 to 3 years of technical experience such as in a field or lab water testing role, or working with analytical instrumentation is required.
Excellent customer service skills (communication) are required.
Ability to deal with complex customer requests or problems.
Ability to analyze/interpret water quality data.
Knowledge of analytical water testing instrumentation and applications.
Working knowledge of PCs and PC software. (Oracle, Salesforce, MS Office, Shoretel)
Typing rate of 40-45 words per minute preferred.
Competent with various media options, i.e. phone, fax, e-mail.
Physical demands of lifting up to 20 pounds from floor to waist or floor to shoulder level on an occasional basis.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

SALARY :
The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
