Position Summary:

Performs area specific assigned duties to ensure food service to patients, employees, and visitors. Maintains area and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Knows and observes all safety and sanitation policies and procedures as they relate to specific area. Provides quality customer service.

Accountabilities:

Uses proper technique for pulling and rotating stock and labeling and dating of foods. Maintains foods at proper temperatures to assure safety and freshness following H.A.C.C.P. principles. Informs other duties, verbal or written, as assigned by a supervisor.

Tray Line Area

Readies tray service line for the appropriate meal. Portions food to patient tray from various stations on serving line according to diet and menu. Prepares and delivers patient nourishments to the patient care area. Delivers meals to patient rooms and communal areas. Performs various duties after try service such as: pre-set trays, wash carts, ready foods for next meal, restock tray line areas and othe4r duties assigned by the supervisor. Scrape, soak, wash and sanitize pots and pans. Check pans for cleanliness sort and deliver to assigned area. Operate and maintain pot machine and record temperatures. Readies tray service line for the appropriate meal. Portions food to patient tray from various stations on serving line according to diet and menu. Dumps trash. Cafeteria Area

Provide fast, friendly, accurate and clean service to each customer. Acknowledge customers promptly and greet each customer with a smile. Prepare foods and set up service area as designed by timeline. Ensure areas are replenished with food when and where needed. Keep foods looking fresh. Must operate cash register according to departmental policies and procedures. Ensure accurate and efficient sales transactions. Know and observe all conditions of the cash handler's agreement. Ensure proper signage is displayed. Have a working knowledge of food prices. Performs minimal cooking (grill, fryer, pizza) methods to obtain a quality end product. Production Area

RN Description:

The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care provided to a group of patients. The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to individuals and groups which require specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences. The Registered Nurse functions within the full scope of nursing practice as noted by the Board of Nursing of their designated state for which they are practicing in addition to compliance with any of the hospitals accrediting bodies.

POSITION SUMMARY Under general supervision and according to the established policies and procedures, coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. POSITION SUMMARY Pre-Analytic Technician is a general job description. All Pre-Analytic Techs are required to perform the essential job duties. Additional functions are driven by shift and the functional area the individual is assigned to. All duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwise 1. Knowledgeable regarding the combinations of tests and the associated acceptable minimum volumes, as well as pre-analytic variables that may affect specimen analysis. Familiar with test synonyms and abbreviations, and cross-referencing tests to specimen types. 2. Utilize the Laboratory and Hospital Information System independently. 3. Maintain established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, and infection control. Comply with requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies by attending mandatory in-services and continuing laboratory education and participating in continuous quality improvement. Maintain and upgrade personal development. 4. Assist in the training and orientation of new employees or students. 5. Notify proper associate or order stocked supplies when supply is low. 6. Follow Standard Safety Precautions. 7. Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers. Diplomatic liaison between nursing units and laboratory. 8. Clean and stock work areas. Complete and log routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and workstations. 9. Follow ProMedica Customer Service guidelines. 10. 1. Follows established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs and safety standards.

2. Responsible for checking expiration dates, stock rotation and removal of excess inventory in managed inventory locations.

3. Orders, delivers and stocks supplies for assigned departments as scheduled, maintaining proper par levels and storage space on shelves. Accountable for reporting to supervision needed adjustments to inventory and par levels according to utilization.

10. Handles all facets of outbound shipments in a cost effective manner, documenting applicable RGA and tracking information, while ensuring that all shipments are timely as required by our customer.

High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must have the ability to work independently and think critically to problem solve. Must have knowledge of Windows-based computer programs and the capacity for learning specialized software programs. Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries. Must have effective interpersonal, oral and/or written communication skills. Must maintain a good driving record to operate company vehicles as required by applicable business unit.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in materials management preferred.
