Job Description:

Our Parsons Bay Area offices are now hiring for a Senior Structural Design Bridge Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to to work on transportation projects around the San Francisco Bay Area, and Northern and Central California. This is a hybrid remote working role ( meaning allowed to work from home 2-3 days per week).

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform complex structure bridge design tasks and deliver engineering work efficiently and accurately, supporting rail/transit, and roadway projects in the USA

  • Perform complex 2D and 3D structural analyses and prepare design calculations.

  • Perform underground structure soil-structure interaction (SSI) analyses.

  • Detailed checking of design calculations performed by others.

  • Utilized developed and experienced skills for structural design and mentoring junior staff

  • Develop structural details and construction plans using Microstation and AutoCAD.

  • Prepare of geometric layouts, construction specifications and material quantity calculations

  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking and improved results.

  • Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients and other stakeholders.

  • Structural design of bridges tunnels for transportation infrastructure, any sometimes tunnel design as well

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 8 years or more related bridge and /or structural design experience is required.

  • Tunnel design experience is a plus, but not required.

  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis is required.

  • MS Degree in Structural Engineering is desirable

  • Engineer In Training (EIT) is essential

  • PE licensure is desirable, but not required

  • Efficient in modeling and designing structural systems using 2D and 3D finite element analyses (STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and/or others)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, industry standard structural design and analysis software, and AutoCAD or Microstation

  • Solid experience with bridge and tunnel transportation infrastructure design

This position involves 100 percent travel. All travel reimbursed plus full benefits including health insurance, vacation, sick leave and every federal holiday off.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons as the prime contractor. This $1.8 billion+ contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. What You'll Be Doing:

. Perform local coordination of on-site work, working in a 2-man self-perform crew.

. Perform as the main point of contact (POC) for all site work, coordinating with internal management and the client before the job starts, being the on-site POC.

. Coordinating final inspection and completion of close-out paperwork.

. Perform cradle-to-grave operations for projects of relatively limited scope. Specifically focused on demolition activities.

What You'll Be Doing:

Parsons is hiring a Requirements and Integration expert to apply advanced military principles, theories, concepts and managerial oversight of the CNMF TF activities.   • Draft and coordinate point papers in support of CNMF TF leadership to accomplish a coordinated response with internal and external stakeholders

  • Engage Government leadership regularly to ensure consistency and accuracy regarding CNMF TF posture on time-sensitive tasks

  • Provide time-sensitive task analysis in response to USCYBERCOM and DoD-derived requests

  • Assist in the development of summary planning documentation to support engagements and provide weekly support updates designed to track time-sensitive tasks and business, both internal and external to USCYBERCOM, a full range of tasks and commitments related to DoD cyber policy, National and International cyber policy, as well as activity that entails senior leadership commitment and readiness

What You'll Be Doing:

  • You will be responsible for the certification and accreditation of computer networks and standalone information systems using government standards.

  • Preparing, maintaining and implementing System Security Plans that accurately depict the customer's contractual and security requirements.

  • Exercise responsibility for the oversight and accountability of day-to-day security operations of all the information systems (unclassified/classified).

  • Working directly with program managers and system security engineers on all phases of system life cycle development.

Job Description:

T5 Program Summary: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA's Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and certain reimbursable programs, the FAA NextGen Program, national security programs and aviation safety. Specifically, work includes site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, drafting, contract surveillance, and other technical services as required. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA's nine regions as well as the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey and in several U.S. territories. An average staff of 500 with a peak staff over 650 supports this contract, in addition to those subcontractors who perform construction work.

The Candidate date will split time 50/50 between being a CAD Room Administrator and a Drafter II.

CAD Drafter II utilizes AUTOCAD software and other techniques, standards, and tools to

prepare technical drawings. Prepares less complex computer-aided design (CAD) drafts, drawings, and schematics

derived from a variety of specifications, layouts and sketches. A CAD Drafter II maintains

deadlines, goals, and production standards set by the department and coordinates and consults with engineers (client)

or other drafters to complete projects. Additionally, CAD Drafter II transforms initial rough product designs into

working documents using CAD software. Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies

between original drawings and final CAD designs.

CAD Room Administrator -will maintain configuration management and CAD Designs within the FAA Project wise System.

In this role the principal responsibilities will include preparing drawing for review and electronic signature, Scan drawings developed outside the client domain into project wise, print out C and D size drawing sets for engineers and shred drawings etc.

CAD Drafter II occasionally be directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.

Education: High School diploma and CAD technical School are required.

Experience: 2 plus years of related CAD experience in an engineering environment .

  • Significant experience analyzing and understanding strategic national systems, data links, satellite communications and technologies of use and of interest to the U.S. Government.

  • Experience with operational cyber, SIGINT, and intelligence systems supporting the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense that identify and cultivate partners that will provide value to the company for both market and individual benefit.

  • Leverages a strong network of customer and industry contacts and familiarity with our customers' major programs and upcoming initiatives. Keeps abreast of the current business climate and overall industry trends.

  • Experience in, but not limited to, proposal development, white papers, point papers, and assistance in drafting technical reports with a focus of building sustainable and impactful programs.

  • Provides leadership and guidance across the HCM and D&I teams, developing new concepts of operations for customers from inception to completion, participating in consultative solutions development, and helping to implement innovative solutions.

  • Designs impactful and scalable technological-driven solutions and value propositions, focused on national and tactical collection systems, data links, and sensor-to-shooter/long rang kill webs.

  • Understands environmental complexity to deploy systems in difficult-to-access regions around the globe.

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Technical or Business discipline

  • 15+ years of diversified experience, oriented around the Intelligence Community, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, , DoD Special Missions, and the national intelligence priority framework.

  • Extensive knowledge of the technical collection and operations markets, to include management and delivery of software/hardware capabilities in support of those mission areas.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Deep understanding of the DoD and IC acquisition lifecycles.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including captivating presentation skills.

The Major Client Manager (MCM) contributes to the operations in a defined geographic area including permanent offices and various project field offices and focuses on the identification , capture, and execution of work for key clients. Infrastructure US comprises a team of engineers and technicians in the fields of civil (highways, rail, transit and aviation disciplines), structural (bridges and tunnels), geotechnical, electrical and mechanical engineering, and includes design, condition inspection, and construction management/construction inspection staff. The MCM is also accountable for refining business strategy, growth, profit and loss performance, talent management, and oversight of the operations including directing and managing large/complex projects. The MCM must be an effective -seller/doer-, able to balance operational management, business development, and project management responsibilities. The MCM must also be a creative and innovative leader, able to communicate a vision and inspire others and effectively mentor and develop individual and team talent. Willingness to travel to the various offices and to client or project site locations is expected. The MCM will work with business and technical leadership to continue the legacy of technical and management excellence while growing a successful and sustainable business practice that fosters a challenging and fun workplace.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and operational direction:

  • Collaborate with the Regional and Area Managers to develop annual strategic initiatives.

  • Work with the relevant Business Development Manager/Team to develop a business plan aligned with the objectives of the Area and the Region.

  • Define operational and financial goals overall and for individual direct reports.

  • Establish clear plan to achieve goals by identifying and prioritizing clients and prospects.

  • Implement operational policies and procedures.

  • Ensure policies and objectives are understood and applied effectively.

  • Review, evaluate and approve requests including contracts, appropriations, and expenditure within authority, escalate others as appropriate.

  • Manage P&L and profitable growth of the business:

  • Work with the Project Managers to optimize billing cycle and cash flow.

  • Collaborate with the relevant Business Development Manager/Team to implement a growth agenda and be accountable for commercial success.

  • Measure financial success against established objectives and ensure corrective action as needed.

  • Drive growth through leveraging key client opportunities.

  • Identify, develop and maintain key accounts.

  • Enhance Parsons' profile and reach across the industry through participation in professional and industry organizations and attending related events.

  • Maintain strong relations with local and regional clients.

  • Support contractor relationships regarding APD prospects and pursuits.
