JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Provide training to soldiers to ensure improve working knowledge of key systems such as MCIS, Enterprise Services and Tactical Command Systems to include capabilities, applications, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and operation in a network topology.

  • Possess experience, skills and in-depth knowledge of internetworking theory, sub netting, IP addressing, routers, IP routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VoIP communications, SAN / NAS Storage systems and Enterprise Systems Administration.

  • Provide technical solutions for sustainment of the simulated environment as well to analyze and troubleshoot real world situations that affect the MCIS system communication and performance across LAN/WAN operations.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.

  • Proven Extensive experience in BCCS/TSI, MCIS, CPOF/CPCE Servers and Enterprise Systems Administration.

  • Current/Prior service as a 25-series Senior NCO, Technical Warrant Officer (255A, 255N), or Signal Officer (25A).

  • Experience in Army Tactical Communication Systems (WIN-T and TACSAT).

  • Experience in Army Mission Command Systems.

  • Knowledge and experience on Microsoft Windows Server (2008 R2, 2012), VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi 5/6), VMware vCenter 5/6, Cisco Unified Call Manager and Linux Command Line.

  • Must be able to travel up to 50%.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

  • Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (such as Security+ CE, CySA+, CASP+ CE, OR CISSP etc.).

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  • Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain.

  • Must be a current US Citizen.

SAIC is looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our Defense & Civilian Sector. SAIC leads the way to provide customer-centric IT Service Management (ITSM) focused on improving service and leveraging processes and strategies with an emphasis on timely IT services and support.

You will be part of the Tech Dispatch team, responsible for onsite support of incidents and service requests that cannot be resolved remotely by Service Center Staff. In this role you resolve, track, and manage escalated technical problems within ServiceNow. Travel may be required to support remote customer sites that do not have local technicians assigned.

THIS ROLE MAY NOT BE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE

Responsibilities

  • Installs software, modifies settings, and replaces hardware as required to resolve the incident.

  • Resolves desktop and network issues to restore service.

  • Understands premise wiring/cabling best practices.

  • Uses ITSM and ServiceNow ticket processes to document actions taken and executes hardware or software deployment.

  • Supports lifecycle asset management (LCAM) of IT equipment - deployment through exchange/disposal.

  • Ensures troubleshooting and resolutions are accomplished using industry best practices, resolves technical issues, ensures issues resolved per customer direction, and documents installed configuration.

  • Makes updates to the knowledge base by creating documentation describing issues encountered, their resolutions, and works on the development of processes and documentation to improve the ability of the service desk to detect and resolve problems.

  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree related to Computer and Information Technology Services and 2 years of experience, AA Degree in related discipline and seven (7) years or more of related experience; or, High School and nine (9) years of related experience with relevant certification.

  • Must be willing to work effectively within a team environment in a fast-paced support role.

  • Must possess excellent communication skills, be dependable, outgoing and positive with excellent problem solving skills.

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance, citizenship required.

Desired Skills, Experience, & Certifications

  • A Bachelor's degree related to Computer and Information Technology Services and 2 years of experience, an Associate's and 9 years of experience, or High School and 10 years of additional experience.

The Navy Business Group currently has a career opportunity for a Quantitative Fleet Feedback (QFF) Support Training Analyst to provide fleet training data collection and assessment support to Commander, Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP) in San Diego, CA.

The qualified candidate will provide QFF Program Support and serve as a training subject matter expert (SME) performing a variety of routine and non-routine tasks associated with training assessment and reporting using the Navy Warfare Training System (NWTS) and Navy Training Information Management System (NTIMS). The candidate must be knowledgeable of all phases of the Fleet Readiness Training Plan (FRTP) and carrier strike group operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience in naval Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) evaluation; data entry experience with database systems (e.g., NTIMS, and Navy Mission Essential Task List [NMETL] Readiness Assessment Software [NRAS]); the flexibility to operate multiple computer programs simultaneously (e.g., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Chat, Simulation Display [SIMDIS] 3-D Analysis and Display Toolset, and Global Command and Control System-Maritime [GCCS-M]); and familiarity with and experience operating Joint After Action Report - Resource Library (JAAR-RL). In addition, they will have excellent public speaking, presentation, and time management skills, as well as at least six years of applicable experience in:

. Conducting fleet training analyses to identify gaps, training needs, and solutions

. Developing and modifying training event/exercise scenarios and curricula

. Designing custom training to meet Fleet and Joint training objectives

Specific Functional Area tasks include:

. Provide program and technical support to project leads for Numbered Fleet Commanders, carrier task force/strike group (CTF/CSG) and amphibious readiness group (ARG) commanders, CSG-4/15, Expeditionary Strike Group 3 (ESG-3), Tactical Training Group Atlantic/Pacific (TTGL/P), and other training commands' implementation of the NWTS.

. Prepare and run quality assurance (QA) checks for up to 12 databases per exercise and 30 MS Excel collection spreadsheets per database using NRAS or other applicable software/systems.

. Receive and process performance data up to four or more times daily for up to 24 or more assessment areas per database and ensure all received data is captured, accurate, and complete.

. Provide at least daily performance standard feedback reports to trainers on each assessment area from each database based on the most recent data submitted.

. Assist government project leads in developing performance debriefs which are presented to senior military personnel using MS PowerPoint or other required software programs using reports created from the performance databases.

. Archive and retrieve performance data to support future data calls, perform historical and statistical analysis of archived data, and provide current, accurate and complete analysis reports to government project leads.

. Assist in data collection instrumentation installations and de-installations on surface ships.

. Attend tool development and process improvement events when required.

. Provide recommendations to government project leads on opportunities to improve Navy training, readiness reporting, and performance assessment; and efficiency and effectiveness of the QFF program.

. Provide data collection, reconstruction and analysis of training plan events/sub-events and develop graphical representations, screen shots, reports, charts, replays and other products to government project leads using data collection and display tools, including JAAR-RL, SIMDIS, Performance Evaluation Tool, GCCS-M/J, Common Operational Picture (COP) Measures of Effectiveness (MOE), chat and voice communications systems, and MS Office products for download or display on web pages and personal computers.

. Extract DRRS readiness data and perform comparative analysis upon demand by senior leadership.

. Review and analyze Training Evaluation and Training Completion Reports from trainers and training audience in accordance with COMTHIRDFLTINST 3501.1 Integrated/Advanced Training Instruction. Formulate and report recommendations for training improvements to C3F QFF project lead.

. May be required to travel up to 25 percent of the time, including support of underway missions (up to 12 hours per day) for extended periods (up to 45 consecutive days) or work extended hours ashore. These consecutive underway or ashore periods may include weekends and holidays. Additionally, CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required to attend exercise planning events, training plan development or data collection tool development working groups or support data collection during exercises.

Qualifications

REQUIRED BACKGROUND / EDUCATION / SKILLS:

. Must be a U.S. citizen with Secret clearance and Bachelor of Arts or Science degree.

. Active military duty experience in a Combat Systems environment and recent instructional/training experience.

. Six (6) years of general training program analyst and Functional Area experience (8 years in lieu of degree will be considered); see detailed tasks above.

We are looking for an experienced, Full-time , Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) Supervisor to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the Southern California TRACON (SCT) located in San Diego, CA, supporting air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Job Description:

The RPO Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of CTS personnel providing RPO support. The RPO Supervisor directs RPO schedules, monitors and oversees daily operations within area of responsibility, and ensures accurate and timely completion of RPO time cards.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility. The FAA employs more than 14,000 air traffic controllers. They work in air traffic facilities of varying sizes, safely separating more than 50,000 aircraft in the National Airspace System (NAS) each day. To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists. The FAA utilizes Contractor- provided instructional services at FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories to ensure these training needs are met. The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. SAIC must provide training and training related support services as required for all types and levels of ATC facilities.

The SAIC Team provides a full range of engineering, technical support, management, training, and logistics services in support of the Messaging programs. Support of these systems includes technical support for installations, providing systems and software engineering, software development and infrastructure as code, training development and delivery, integration and testing of hardware and software functions, and testing of new baselines and/or new capability of messaging systems.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Plan, develop, and implement technical training materials for the Naval Messaging ISEA.

  • Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules.

  • Obtain information from customer and fleet organizations, engineering, software and product requirements to prepare training programs; prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develop course content; determines methodology; and coordinate the development of training aids.

  • Conducts training sessions at Navy operational sites and develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.

  • Continuously revises lesson plans to ensure course material reflect product features, meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.

  • Participate in the development of Interactive Electronic Training Manuals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and skills in support of information systems development and integration efforts.

  • Provide technical and administrative support for information systems development tasks, including the execution of technical tasks, the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and the progress of tasks in accordance with schedules.

The individual in this position will provide fleet training and readiness program analysis and assessment, and serve as an action officer for the USFF Fleet/Joint Training Directorate (N7). Program analysts have experience at the senior level including supervisory experience. Program analysts, in general, review program (specific) data, evaluate program plans/changes and assist in the preparation of documents with various senior-level, civilian and military stakeholders. They are able to analyze program information, strategize plans, produce quality analytic work in the form of information papers, white papers, briefs, and executive correspondence and effectively present the results in a clear and concise manner when required.   • Supports test events and activities to maintain test efficiency and workflow

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced, Casual, Air Traffic Control Instructor to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the Indianapolis ARTCC (ZID), located in Indianapolis, IN, supporting air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The CTS Instructor is a hands-on position that requires the candidate to effectively and consistently deliver the highest quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a wide variety of students including developmental air traffic controllers and Certified Professional Controllers (CPC).

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility. The FAA employs more than 14,000 air traffic controllers. They work in air traffic facilities of varying sizes, safely separating more than 50,000 aircraft in the National Airspace System (NAS) each day.

To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists. The FAA utilizes Contractor-provided instructional services at FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories to ensure these training needs are met. The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. SAIC must provide training and training related support services as required for all types and levels of ATC facilities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

The CTS Instructor candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic, or recent experience as a contract Instructor at an FAA facility. Experience must have been at the same type and same [or greater] level of ATC facility as the Indianapolis ARTCC (ZID).

The successful candidate for this position must demonstrate strong technical skills with current ATC automation, simulation systems and procedures. This position will provide mentoring for students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) as well as participate in curriculum design and development. The selected candidate must demonstrate the knowledge and skills applicable for obtaining radar and/or non-radar simulation laboratory certifications at FAA air traffic control facilities within the U.S. National Airspace System.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Direct experience as a Certified Professional Controller (CPC) at the Indianapolis ARTCC (ZID) is preferred but not required.

  • Operational Experience with ATC simulators including scenario design for simulation platforms (e.g. TSS, AT Coach, SGET, etc.).

  • Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with FAA personnel at all levels to ensure the delivery of training services meet the needs of the local facility, as well as the FAA's overall Air Traffic Control mission is highly desired.

  • Experience demonstrating excellent teaching and/or platform skills, classroom management techniques, and a student-focused drive for continuous improvement.

Education:
