SPACEPORT RESTAURANT ATTENDANT
SpaceX is looking for experienced, passionate, and driven team members to launch and grow world class food and beverage concepts inside our facilities. We are searching for candidates who have superior experience working in customer service with a focus in full service restaurants, bars and fast-casual dining establishments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Exercise strong customer service and communication skills
Fill in for different front of house roles according to the day's staffing situation
Collaborate with the team for absolute guest satisfaction
Coordinate and execute catering/event requests
Maintain service by properly anticipating our guests' needs
Create a memorable dining experience by exceeding our guests' expectations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

SR. CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (STARSHIP)
As a member of the Starship Launch Engineering team you will work with a group of elite engineers across multiple disciplines to design, build, and activate infrastructure that will enable orbital launch capability for the largest rocket in the world. This position is based at Cape Canaveral, FL.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the project team, consulting engineers and contractors throughout the entirety of the civil and structural engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process
Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial type projects
Perform both civil and structural design and analysis calculations for structural steel and concrete
Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out
Manage the civil and structural aspects of construction projects
Interact with contractors, fabricators, owners, and clients
Provide direct onsite engineering inspections and field observations
Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time
Provide technical engineering support/information to ensure construction/maintenance complies with all standards, codes, and specifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or other engineering discipline
5+ years of professional experience as an engineer with a focus in design or build of structural infrastructure
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Professional Engineering (PE) license
Knowledge of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) steel manual, American Concrete Institute (ACI) code 318, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 7, and International Building Code (IBC)
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
Experience with SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, RISA-3D, Etabs, or similar analysis software
Knowledge of processes of governing permitting agencies such as building departments and/or environmental agencies
Understanding of other disciplines such as: mechanical, electrical, piping, geotechnical, and surveying
Experience with project management of major construction projects including estimating, cost control, schedule, and contractor management
Experience with at least three of the following project delivery phases: 1) conceptual layout and high level trade studies 2) detailed engineering design and development 3) request for proposals/quotes, contract issue 4) supervision of construction to completion 5) work punch lists and certificate of occupancy (CO) with building official
Sound communication skills

SECURITY OPERATOR 2
The Security Operator provides the critical first impression of the organization and its security requirements for employees, customers, vendors, and guests at each of its facilities. SpaceX leadership depends on the professionalism and character of our Security Operators to welcome, assist, and act as a comprehensive source of SpaceX information, while ensuring the safety and security of its facilities and operations overall.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for tracking special events and visits
Provide high quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors
Ensure thorough knowledge and effective implementation of all access control, escort, and tour protocols and procedures for employees, customers, vendors, and guests at SpaceX facilities
Coordinate with Security leadership and the SpaceX Protective Operations Center (SPOC) as necessary to:
Initiate timely and effective notifications and response measures for incidents or emergencies
Assist emergency response personnel dispatched to a SpaceX site
Monitor site surveillance camera system
Prepare clear and concise written incident reports
Report maintenance, facility, and technology issues and alarms
Build collaborative working relationships with other SpaceX departments or teams (including, but not limited to, Facilities, Human Resources, and Employee Health & Safety), SpaceX leadership, and-where applicable-with landlords and building owners, regarding day-to-day security operations, as well as special events or emergency situations
Due to the various type and scope of operations performed and sites utilized at SpaceX, Security Operator responsibilities may vary at each campus in order to ensure the most effective and secure operations at all sites. SR. FLEET MANAGEMENT GNC ENGINEER
SpaceX is looking for an engineer with a strong background in orbital mechanics, programming, and spacecraft systems design to join the Fleet Management GNC team. Our mission is to automate and optimize the constellation path planning such that each satellite gets where it needs to go in a safe, timely, and propellant-efficient manner. Our mantra is, "algorithms, not operators," as we aim to fly an unprecedented number of satellites with minimal manual operational overhead.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support constellation orbit design via through constellation coverage simulations
Implement orbit transfer path-planning systems and algorithms to minimize arrival times subject to complex path constraints that, for example, may vary per satellite or depend on the state of other satellites
Implement and maintain the infrastructure necessary to monitor and manage the fleet of satellites
Estimate satellite lifetimes, forecast constellation state, and plan the rollout of future satellites
Continued support of satellites in orbit, commanding as necessary to route satellites to their intended orbits and resolve anomalies
Interface with hardware reliability, network analysis, and network software teams to determine the best fleet management policies and plans to meet Starlink business objectives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics
5+ years of experience in a space mission design role or GNC engineering role
Software development experience in C++ or Python
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree in engineering or physics
Strong understanding of orbital mechanics, modeling and simulation, and software development
Low thrust trajectory optimization for orbital maneuvering
Experience with State Estimation

SpaceX is looking for a software engineer with a passion for systems analysis to design and develop the tools to optimize the Starlink network, constellation, and spacecraft. You will work with teams across the organization to answer questions ranging from -how can the fleet better allocate bandwidth?- to -where should ground antennas be placed throughout the world?-. The algorithms you write and the analysis tools you build, which integrate with the same code running satellites in space, will guide business decisions across the entire Starlink program as we race towards consumer service, global coverage, and Mars!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Simulate the operation of the constellation as a system and test future designs.
Develop algorithms for efficient operation of the network including capacity planning, throughput allocation, fault-recovery, and network routing.
Optimize the revenue generation capability of the Starlink constellation for current and future designs.
Assess constellation design trades on a weekly basis and build new methods to support these trades.

As a member of our multifaceted RFIC team, you will have the rare and phenomenal opportunity to craft upcoming SoCs that will enable our Starlink chips. This person would oversee the Vertical Barrel Integration (VBI) team, who is responsible for integration structures on Falcon 9 barrels before weldment at CFSW. PRODUCTION CONTROL SCHEDULER(DRAGON)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take complete ownership of production scheduling for a given production work center, including managing both tactical day-to-day tasks as well as projecting long-term high-level rate needs for the department
Create a rate-based schedule for your hardware and define/track constraints across your build for the next 6+ missions
Use established schedule to create and generate stakeholder buy-in on various scenarios to determine optimal hardware allocation between new/refurb hardware that take into account customer needs, current mission manifest, and customer quality requirements

Understand MRP requirements and logic for your hardware and lead cross-functional efforts to manage and improve MRP accuracy to create better alignment between targeted and actual schedules
Manage the scheduling and prioritization of your hardware at shared resources that are common to multiple departments at SpaceX. Actively negotiate with peers in other departments for correct overall priority and seek creative solutions that drive the optimal business outcome
Leverage SQL Queries and Excel databases to identify hardware shortages for upcoming builds and lead the charge to pull this hardware into your production area
Identify, develop, and implement opportunities for increased scheduling automation across the Dragon department with a focus on reducing the manual operations required to develop, track, and update overall schedules
Drive down near-term and future schedule risk by conducting work-center level capacity analysis, identifying model and communication gaps that cause schedule slips, and leading initiatives (reactive and proactive) that mitigate those risks
Lead efforts to uncover root-cause and develop permanent resolution on issues found during product builds as required to eliminate internal and external blockers to deliver product on time. Drive conversations around assembly-level & integration misalignment.
Identify and support improvement opportunities for product yield, quality, safety, cost and team efficiency
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or other technical disciplines
2+ years of professional manufacturing scheduling experience
Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a production environment

Information Systems Security Engineer at SpaceX

INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY ENGINEER (ISSE)
SpaceX is looking for an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer with a deep technical knowledge of information assurance. This includes a proven track-record of assisting with the assessment and accreditation of information systems in secure environments. You will be a member of the company's Government Security Programs Team and will be responsible for ensuring technical requirements associated with the authorization and accreditation of classified systems are satisfied. The ideal candidate will flourish in a demanding and challenging environment with little direct guidance and a high degree of responsibility and accountability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to bridge the gap between high level security policies and operational implementation of those requirements.
Work with the ISSM, system administrator, and mission manager to ensure compliance with government requirements and regulations, including NIST 800-53a and derivatives.
Update and assemble the required documentation needed in order to maintain or receive an Authorization to Operate (ATO).
Understanding of the technical controls associated with the ATO process.
Answer questions on process, timeline, and status of classified assets and report what is required to the ISSM or others.
Assist in writing policy, procedure, and standards on the proper secure deployment and maintenance of classified information technology systems.
Accredit, change, and expand the current information systems in support of the program as necessary. Provide technical expertise on the authorization and accreditation process.
Strong experience with tools including eMASS, ServiceNow, XACTA, Nessus, Splunk, ELK, OpenSCAP, and SCC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.
3+ years of system engineering or system security engineering experience.
Experience with Systems Security Engineering (SSE) documentation (Cybersecurity Strategies, Information Support Plans, or Program Protection Plans (PPPs)).
DoD 8570 certification IAT-Level II.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems/IT, mathematics, physics, or similar technical discipline.
Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) within IC and DoD communities.
Experience working with the ISSM or ISSO to complete RMF assessment and authorization documentation.
Authorization, certification, and accreditation processes as it pertains to classified information systems.
Superb communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated technical project management skills.
Satellite security engineering experience a plus.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance or active Top Secret clearance with favorable completion of a U.S. Government polygraph pursuant to employment. Note that an active clearance may provide the opportunity for you to work on sensitive SpaceX missions. If so, you will be subject to pre-employment drug and random drug and alcohol testing.

MERCHANDISE PROJECT SPECIALIST
We are looking for a Merchandise Project Specialist who will be responsible for day-to-day process and communications, sample tracking, organization, and cross-functional communication for the SpaceX merchandise department. This individual will be organized, hands on, and collaborate closely with internals and externals customers alike to help ensure the highest quality products are being delivered.
Serve as a primary point of contact for merchandise needs of internal departments, and implement standardization processes.
Seek monetization opportunities related to excess inventory, patches, etc. and work with individuals on the team to ensure product lineup aligns with inventory purchasing.
Develop additional lead generation outside of current SpaceX clientele.
Work on developing and managing SKU's and UPC's as well as issuing POs for new products where needed.
Understand the store e-commerce platform (Shopify) and all of the applications utilized on the website, to be able to do things such as:
Upload new products.
Ensure correct images and tagging of products.
Check shipping methods.
Place manual orders.
Change prices.
Manage day-to-day vendor relationships and production of goods including mission patches, apparel, etc.
Manage sourcing of new product vendors including promotional houses and cut & sew facilities.
Manage partnerships logistics with cross-functional departments including finance, legal, IT, industrial design, and more.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree.
3+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships, or vendor management and relations.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Proven track record of establishing a network of vendors; track record of developing or managing merchandising and/or licensing agreements.
Experience working with store e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
Highly organized, detail oriented and possess a proven ability to thrive under deadline pressure and to execute on a number of projects simultaneously.
Successful experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented team environment.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel experience.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written, strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong presentation skills, proven ability to influence in front of accounts/vendors.

CAD DRAFTER - TEMPORARY POSITION
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the design and development of mechanical and fluid ground systems in support of SpaceX launch engineering and operations at Cape Canaveral.
Work with multi-discipline project teams to develop 3D models to support launch engineering design and analyses
Follow defined SpaceX processes to prepare and release new hardware assembly drawings, and revise existing drawings as requested by launch engineering
Update existing designs and models to improve manufacturability
Modify existing CAD models and create drawing revisions as required
POSITION DETAILS:
