The Digital Deployment Specialist is responsible for quality control and the overall accuracy and completeness of all required digital project graphics deliverables (Digital Deployment Package), and deployment of assigned projects that are managed through the Global or National Operations Center. As a DDS, you will verify all graphics are correct, assemble the complete customer solution off-site, and ensure Digital Deployment Package is complete. You will also ensure all customer and Siemens' standards are adhered to before the package is turned over to the field execution team and ensure document / package completeness, as well as perform remote support for graphics implementation.

Ideally, this remote position will be located anywhere within the Northeast United States, however, other considerations will be made within the Eastern Time Zone.

As a Digital Deployment Specialist, you will:

  • Coordinate with PM and operations centers to ensure that all required documentation (i.e. graphics submittals, existing site standards and backup) have been provided

  • Assist graphics integration specialist and graphics designer to develop graphics submittal for customer approval

  • Work with PM and graphics designer to generate a comprehensive list of all required graphics for all assigned projects

  • Work with PM and graphics designer to establish graphics delivery dates so that graphics are delivered as required by project schedule

  • After delivery of graphics, verify graphics package is 100% complete and ready for field installation, items to be checked include at a minimum the following: points, navigation links, mechanical accuracy, symbols, customer standards and system functionality

  • Perform Quality Assurance on the deployment package and turns over solution to field technical resources

  • Ensure that end-user standards and requirements are adhered to and that all project deliverables are accounted for and reflect customer, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and national standards

  • Update cloud-based project site with testing / reviewed results and technical documents including backups of all relevant documents

  • Receive and track work performed in the operations centers via workflow management software as required

  • Provide remote support for local field technicians if issues are found within graphical digital deployment package (DDP) (when remote connectivity is available)

  • Act as a technical resource to all engineering and field resources

  • When needed, assist in setting up graphical front end for factory witness testing

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or state-recognized GED

  • Experience in Building Automation

  • Experience with graphics design

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, CAD Training, or other engineering design software applications

  • Must be self-directed

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Computer Science or other related technical field

  • 2+ years' experience in Building Automation

Position Overview:

The Deputy Project Manager (DPM) will be supporting the responsible Bid or Project Manager with the proposal and execution of Rolling Stock projects ranging from $25M to $250+M in value and durations from 3-5 years. The DPM will be key participant during the proposal and project execution and is responsible for various work packages within the main project execution phases including planning, design, procurement, manufacturing, commissioning, and customer acceptance. What your day-to-day will look like:

. Assists the Bid or Project Manager with the planning and execution of all operation goals and tasks established for the project.

. Proactively manage the assigned working packages such as contractual deliverables, document control and participates in design meetings with the customer.

. Leads internal meetings and tracks action items with internal stakeholders for the assigned working packages.

. Supports the Bid or Project Manager in customer meetings and negotiations for changes in scope, cost and schedule and takes minutes of the meeting with action items.

. Supports the Project Manager to monitor and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

. Effectively communicate and manage work package and sub-project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

. Coordinates the collaborative work between different Siemens entities to deliver a complete integrated product which fulfills the customer requirements for a contract including both rolling stock and customer services scope.

. Support the Bid or Project Manager to develop and maintain customer relationships.

. Supports the Project Manger to develop and deliver monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal / external customers.

. Supports the Project Manger to identify and resolve issues/conflicts within the project team.

As a Sr. Digital Deployment Specialist, you will:

  • Coordinate with PM and operations centers to ensure that all required documentation (i.e. graphics submittals, existing site standards and backup) have been provided

  • Assist graphics integration specialist and graphics designer to develop graphics submittal for customer approval

  • Work with PM and graphics designer to generate a comprehensive list of all required graphics for all assigned projects

  • Ensure that end-user standards and requirements are adhered to and that all project deliverables are accounted for and reflect customer, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and national standards

  • Receive and track work performed in the operations centers via workflow management software as required

  • Provide remote support for local field technicians if issues are found within graphical digital deployment package (DDP) (when remote connectivity is available)

  • Act as a technical resource to all engineering and field resources

  • When needed, assist in setting up graphical front end for factory witness testing

Perform quality assurance on the deployment package and turns over solution to field technical resources, turns over materials to project manager to get materials to jobsite and performs migrations from P2 to BACnet

The role.

Innomotics LLC is seeking a Commercial Project Manager (CPM) to be responsible for commercial aspects related to customer contracts-from the sales handover phase to execution to project completion. Responsibilities encompass financial controlling, performance measurement, planning, forecasting, reporting and SAP entry. The CPM partners with the Project Manager in all other areas where a takeover of responsibilities is decided and/or a useful contribution. The CPM will also partner with Customers, Suppliers, Project Managers/ Engineers, Sales, Procurement, Legal, other Commercial Project Managers, regional and national Finance colleagues, and internal and external Auditors and management at all levels.

This position is based in New Kensington, PA. Local Hybrid is preferred - Remote is an option. Required travel: 10% if local. Up to 25% if remote

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure compliance with Levels of Authority approval guidelines for commercial aspects, e.g. risk management process.

  • Ensure quality of all commercial and administrative project policies per Siemens guidelines.

  • Ensure accurate financial project set-up is in line with agreed project budget and company internal contractual arrangements.

  • Partner with the Project Manager in leading and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care (e.g. project gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments).

  • Perform financial planning, forecasting, controlling, reconciliation of project cash flow, and constant deviation analysis. Ensure data integrity between SAP and other financial reporting tools.

  • Set up financial performance plan for the project based on the planned delivery schedule for the offered scope during the sales phase and run it throughout the project execution phase.

  • Set up and closely supervise revenue recognition: actual vs plan, degree of completion, cost to complete, total forecasted costs vs planned. Ensure full compliance of revenue and cost recognition with Siemens accounting policies under US-GAAP / IFRS, as well as overall compliance with internal controls, like export control, signature authorities.

  • Collaborate with the responsible Project Manager on organizational change issues (variations) relating to the scope of the project. Acquire verification and approval of variations prior to submittal to the customer ensuring appropriate costing and pricing in accordance with PM @Siemens Guidelines.

  • Partner with the Project Manager in identifying, evaluating, and assessing risks & opportunities, strategies, and response activities. Constantly assess risks& opportunities and their impact either in the risk register and/or in the gross margin while proposing measures to prevent negative margin slippage due to risks that could have been avoided.

  • Implement and drive measures with the Project Manager to leverage opportunities to improve the project performance, e.g. through claims and variation management. Support Project Manager to ensure Project Quality based on Siemens guidelines and achievement of project goals.

  • Provide ownership of the timely issuing of invoices with a strong focus on running Account Receivables and project cash flow.

  • Drive Procurement together with the Project Manager by involving the responsible purchasing representative to ensure that the purchase orders are based on the best available bids and are within the set budget.

  • Ensure consistent terms and conditions with suppliers/subcontractors in line with the end-customer contract.

  • Coordinate other contractual requirements (e.g., performance guarantees, insurances, taxes, sureties) to achieve contract commitments.

  • Actively connect with customers' commercial representatives and lead resolution of commercial issues.

  • Influence team to take positive action and assume accountability for assigned work.

  • Regularly perform lessons-learned activities on commercial aspects and feed results into own project lessons-learned activities and into own organization.

  • Drive interpersonal relationships, develop effective communication, and handle conflicts.

Your profile.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred

  • Required travel: 10% if local. Up to 25% if remote

  • 3+ years of work experience in a Finance, Project Controlling or other related role

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Must have strong verbal and written skills

Preferred Requirements :

  • Proficiency with related SAP modules.

  • Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI a plus.

The *Senior* Digital Deployment Specialist is responsible for deployment of assigned projects that are managed through the Zone Technical Center. As a Senior Digital Deployment Specialist, you will:

  • Gather all documents required to enable a functioning system, including product licensing, firmware, panel, and controller level databases. Provide all required technical files for third party system integrations and provides required testing protocol of all system components

  • Load programs to enable a functioning system including product licenses, firmware updates, panel programming, graphics, setting IP addresses, setting jumpers on all hardware, and properly applying labels to all materials

  • Test hardware loaded with software to ensure expected results, including I/O level testing, alarm messaging functioning as expected, and all third-party systems integrations. Perform quality assurance on the deployment package and turns over solution to field technical resources, turns over materials to project manager to get materials to jobsite and performs migrations from P2 to BACnet

  • Ensure customer expectations are met, resolve customer issues in a timely, effective, and professional manner, and update cloud-based project site with testing results and technical documents as required

  • Receive and track work via workflow management software (Wrike) as required and provide remote commissioning of panel and controller level logic when remote connectivity is in place

  • Act as a technical resource to all ZTC and field resources and must be able to perform all tasks

The Sr. Digital Deployment Specialist is responsible for quality control and the overall accuracy and completeness of all required digital project graphics deliverables (Digital Deployment Package), and deployment of assigned projects that are managed through the Global or National Operations Center. As a Sr. DDS, you will verify all graphics are correct, assemble the complete customer solution off-site, and ensure Digital Deployment Package is complete. Ideally, this remote position will be located anywhere within the Northeast United States, however, other considerations will be made within the Eastern Time Zone.

As a Sr. Digital Deployment Specialist, you will:

  • Coordinate with PM and operations centers to ensure that all required documentation (i.e. graphics submittals, existing site standards and backup) have been provided

  • Assist graphics integration specialist and graphics designer to develop graphics submittal for customer approval

  • Work with PM and graphics designer to generate a comprehensive list of all required graphics for all assigned projects

  • Work with PM and graphics designer to establish graphics delivery dates so that graphics are delivered as required by project schedule

  • After delivery of graphics, verify graphics package is 100% complete and ready for field installation, items to be checked include at a minimum the following: points, navigation links, mechanical accuracy, symbols, customer standards and system functionality

  • Perform Quality Assurance on the deployment package and turns over solution to field technical resources

  • Ensure that end-user standards and requirements are adhered to and that all project deliverables are accounted for and reflect customer, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and national standards

  • Update cloud-based project site with testing / reviewed results and technical documents including backups of all relevant documents

  • Receive and track work performed in the operations centers via workflow management software as required

  • Provide remote support for local field technicians if issues are found within graphical digital deployment package (DDP) (when remote connectivity is available)

  • Act as a technical resource to all engineering and field resources

  • When needed, assist in setting up graphical front end for factory witness testing

Responsibilities working alongside current Specialists and Operations Supervisors:

  • Meet with the customers (for Service) to diagnose their HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Integrated Security electronic control system malfunctions and use your expertise to maintain, repair, or (for Solutions) install new equipment; commissioning if needed

  • Consult with our internal engineering and management team for discrepancies in our drawings or as problems arise

What you will do as a Siemens Smart Building Specialist Intern

  • This internship is a 10-week program where you will rotate through various departments at the local branch office, all focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure.

  • 80% of your time will be spent on specialist (technician) related activities (visiting customer sites, classroom learning, on-the-job training and shadowing, etc.)

  • 10% of your time with be spent with the sales department and learning how we go-to-market and sell our solutions and services

  • 10% of your time will be spent in our projects (solutions) or service departments, focusing on the related tasks needed to deliver world class service to Siemens customers

  • You may get experience rotating through our core business segments, which include HVAC, Fire/Life Safety and Security Systems

  • The goal of this internship program is to develop future talent for the Siemens organization and help you identify where you may be interested in pursuing a career at Siemens post-graduation

Responsibilities working alongside current Specialists and Operations Supervisors:

  • Meet with the customers (for Service) to diagnose their HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Integrated Security electronic control system malfunctions and use your expertise to maintain, repair, or (for Solutions) install new equipment; commissioning if needed

  • Consult with our internal engineering and management team for discrepancies in our drawings or as problems arise

  • Interface with the customers: complete the service work documentation, assist them with training instructions needed for future ease-of-use, and (most importantly) recommend system enhancements providing a value-added partner relationship

To apply for the Specialist Internship Program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or state-recognized GED

  • Education: Student must be currently enrolled in a 2-year Technical College/School pursuing a certificate in HVAC/R, Building Automation, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment or Computer Science

  • Earliest Graduation Date: August 2025

  • Availability: Ability to work 40-hours per week for the 10-week program (May-July or June - August)

  • Relocation: Must be willing and able to work at the location on-site and surrounding local area. There is no relocation or housing stipend for this program

  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company or school sponsorship. This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT.

Additional Requirements of all applicants for the Specialist Internship:

  • Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment; working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions

  • Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet

  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted

  • Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook). Skilled in using Windows laptops and adept at learning new software for programming and troubleshooting automation equipment.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

The Sr. Digital Deployment Specialist is responsible for quality control and the overall accuracy and completeness of all required digital project graphics deliverables (Digital Deployment Package), and deployment of assigned projects that are managed through the Global or National Operations Center. As a Sr. Digital Deployment Specialist, you will:

  • Coordinate with PM and operations centers to ensure that all required documentation (i.e. graphics submittals, existing site standards and backup) have been provided

  • Assist graphics integration specialist and graphics designer to develop graphics submittal for customer approval

  • Work with PM and graphics designer to generate a comprehensive list of all required graphics for all assigned projects

  • Work with PM and graphics designer to establish graphics delivery dates so that graphics are delivered as required by project schedule

  • After delivery of graphics, verify graphics package is 100% complete and ready for field installation, items to be checked include at a minimum the following: points, navigation links, mechanical accuracy, symbols, customer standards and system functionality

  • Perform Quality Assurance on the deployment package and turns over solution to field technical resources

  • Ensure that end-user standards and requirements are adhered to and that all project deliverables are accounted for and reflect customer, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and national standards

  • Update cloud-based project site with testing / reviewed results and technical documents including backups of all relevant documents

  • Receive and track work performed in the operations centers via workflow management software as required

  • Provide remote support for local field technicians if issues are found within graphical digital deployment package (DDP) (when remote connectivity is available)

  • Act as a technical resource to all engineering and field resources

  • When needed, assist in setting up graphical front end for factory witness testing

Fire Inspectors play a vital role in preventing, detecting, and mitigating the impact of fires. The Sr. Digital Deployment Specialist is responsible for quality control and the overall accuracy and completeness of all required digital project graphics deliverables (Digital Deployment Package), and deployment of assigned projects that are managed through the Global or National Operations Center. As a Sr. DDS, you will verify all graphics are correct, assemble the complete customer solution off-site, and ensure Digital Deployment Package is complete. You will also ensure all customer and Siemens' standards are adhered to before the package is turned over to the field execution team and ensure document / package completeness, as well as perform remote support for graphics implementation.

Ideally, this remote position will be located anywhere within the Northeast United States, however, other considerations will be made within the Eastern Time Zone.

As a Sr. Digital Deployment Specialist, you will:

  • Coordinate with PM and operations centers to ensure that all required documentation (i.e. graphics submittals, existing site standards and backup) have been provided

  • Assist graphics integration specialist and graphics designer to develop graphics submittal for customer approval

  • Work with PM and graphics designer to generate a comprehensive list of all required graphics for all assigned projects

  • Work with PM and graphics designer to establish graphics delivery dates so that graphics are delivered as required by project schedule

  • After delivery of graphics, verify graphics package is 100% complete and ready for field installation, items to be checked include at a minimum the following: points, navigation links, mechanical accuracy, symbols, customer standards and system functionality

  • Perform Quality Assurance on the deployment package and turns over solution to field technical resources

  • Ensure that end-user standards and requirements are adhered to and that all project deliverables are accounted for and reflect customer, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and national standards

  • Update cloud-based project site with testing / reviewed results and technical documents including backups of all relevant documents

  • Receive and track work performed in the operations centers via workflow management software as required

  • Provide remote support for local field technicians if issues are found within graphical digital deployment package (DDP) (when remote connectivity is available)

  • Act as a technical resource to all engineering and field resources

  • When needed, assist in setting up graphical front end for factory witness testing
