This Serco position supports the PM PNT's product support services requirement for logistics engineering support services, installation, and repair, and field support (e.g., training, new equipment fielding, and property support; and Field Service Representatives, etc.) for new or existing hardware and software products. You will be part of a team that collaborates closely with the customer and other team members to deliver quality support.

In this role you will:

  • Lead designs, development, and integration of complex electrical/electronic engineering projects, including, but not limited to integration and installation of systems into host platforms and clients

  • Lead resolutions of systemic issues, testing, or measurements within a DoD environment

  • Review and approve engineering documentation

  • Serve as lead engineering representative for the ALTNAV Program Obsolescence Management Working Group and other collaborative groups

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Master's from an accredited academic institution in Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field

  • 15+ years' experience designing, developing, and integrating electrical and or electronic systems related to the job description stated above.

  • 10+ years' experience as an engineer within the DoD environment

  • Experience with integrating and installing systems into host platforms

  • Experience with Obsolescence Management.

  • Experience communicating with senior leaders

  • Familiarity with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)

  • Familiarity with Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) and Supply Support Activity (SSA) organizations.

  • Must have a current and active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

  • Must have reliable transportation to the customer site.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.

Desired Requirements:

  • Military Educational Level (MEL) - 4, Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) equivalent.

  • Manage, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract/program activities.

  • Collaborate with Government Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer Representative, and other technical personnel.

  • Formulate and review project feasibility studies, determine costs, ensures work standard conformance.

  • Interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organizations for subordinates, and leverages company resources to achieve program objectives.

  • Provide oversight and mentoring to Level IV Program Manager(s) by reviewing proposed plans and recommending changes.

  • Resolve conflicts with sub-contractors.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Master's from an accredited academic institution in Business, Accounting, Operations or Program Management, Engineering, or related or technology field.

  • 20+ years Military experience preferably as an Officer, Senior Warrant Officer, or Senior Non-Commissioned Officer related to the job description listed above.

  • Military Educational Level (MEL) - 4, Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or equivalent.

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

  • 15+ years' experience managing Government Programs.

  • 6+ years' experience managing and or supervising 40+ personnel.

  • Experience managing cost contracts.

  • Experience with administrative and technical program management.

  • Must have a current and active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

JOIN OUR TEAM to assist and prepare over 200,000 Servicemen and women who separate annually from the United States Military begin a new life chapter as a civilian. Many of those who separate from the military have transition plans while others find becoming a civilian a daunting task. The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) program requires contractor services to support these transitioning Servicemen and women through its highly successful Transition Assistance Program (TAP) that is offered world-wide to conduct job assistance workshops, employment counseling, apprenticeship program placements and employer outreach.

In this role, you will:

  • Teaching and/or instructing Military personnel transition to civilian professional and vocational occupations.

  • Guide the transitioning Military Servicemembers in identifying goals while also assisting them with recognizing any employment or education gaps.

  • Organize and able to manage an office.

  • Providing transitioning Servicemembers (Active, Reserve, National Guard), family members, and Veterans a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, job searching, job application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, credentialing, and assistance in preparing for civilian employment and participation in technical programs and schools; and who can conduct large group instruction and provide counseling on the job search process.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A High School Diploma and 3+ years of experience as a professional trainer or facilitator.

  • OR an Associate's degree.

  • Experience which demonstrates understanding of private and public sector employment processes.

  • Experience as a classroom instructor.

  • Must be knowledgeable of the workplace, jobs, and requirement for entry into those jobs.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to provide training to groups with up to 50 participants.

  • Proficient in MS Windows and Office.

  • The ability to communicate effectively with Military clients, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of a group, be observant of others, possess the ability to engage an audience, and respond to inquiries independently.

Partner Program Analyst/Deputy, F-35 International Directorate-(Hybrid Telework) - Serco

Serco is excited to begin support to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office. This contract provides program management support in support of the full acquisition life-cycle of the F-35 program, to include development, production, and sustainment.

Our Partner Program Analyst/Deputy, located in Crystal City, Arlington, VA, supports the F-35 International Directorate (ID) in its role as the focal point for all F-35 Fleet Users, to include U.S. Services, International Partners, and Foreign Military Sales programs to ensure ID integration throughout the F-35 enterprise and to ensure the delivery of 5th Generation combat capability to Warfighters in support of coalition operations. The Contractor shall provide support to the National Deputies who are the F-35 Program's senior national representative for their Participant country within the JSF Program Office and are responsible for providing day-to-day representation of the cognizant Partner nation on all matters related to the F-35 Program. The Contractor shall provide support to the U.S. Service Deputies who are assigned to the JPO to ensure immediate/critical U.S. Service insight to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The Contractor shall provide support to the Foreign Military Sales USG Program Managers who represent the Foreign Military Sales Foreign Liaison Officers for country within the JSF Program Office and are responsible for providing day-to-day representation of the cognizant Foreign Military Sales nation on all matters related to the F-35 Program.

Our Partner Program Analyst/Deputy applies knowledge and experience in acquisition program management to F-35 Program throughout its life cycle. Demonstrates complete competency in all aspects of acquisition management and is capable of evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Identifies problems and recommends solutions with little or no supervision and devises new approaches to encountered problems. Develops the management of acquisition strategy for assigned projects as directed by the Directorate. Evaluates program and mission requirements to establish detailed objectives and integrate these activities with other program and functional elements within the joint program office and outside organizations. Implements plans by preparing and reviewing program documents such as detailed acquisition plans, development and production schedules, engineering change proposals, design studies, etc. Defends the program position at program reviews, conferences, and other functions, providing higher level management with status and decision information on assigned program(s).

In this role, you will:

  • International Integration and support - assist ID in facilitating the programs of two types of countries associated with the F-35 program: -Partners- (also referred to as -Participant-), -who are signatories to the JSF Production, Sustainment and Follow-on Development Memorandum of Understanding (JSF PSFD MOU), and -FMS Customers,- which have a signed Letters of Requests (LORs) and Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) for purchasing aircraft, related material, and services

  • International Programs - Assist ID in supporting National Deputies and their assistants in representing each of the F-35 Partner nations resident in ID.

  • International Agreements - Assist ID in the development, management, negotiation, and implementation of International Agreements, to include MOUs (such as JSF SDD MOUs [2001] and JSF PSFD MOU and in implementing arrangements, and LOAs.

  • Coordinated Capabilities - Assist ID in serving as a cross-PMO coordination focal point for ID country requirements, PMR action items and ongoing, non-U.S. development, sustainment, and production challenges.

  • External Interfaces - assist ID in coordinating with U.S. agencies on any programmatic or policy matter pertaining to the USG's F-35 cooperative and FMS programs established with ID countries.

  • International Communication - Assist ID in maintaining open lines of communication and maximum transparency between the F-35 program and external stakeholders (i.e., industry and international Ministries of Defense) with and through Partner National Deputies and FMS Foreign Liaison Officers (FLOs).

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • The ability to provide on-site support at F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) located in Crystal City, VA no

  • Must have an active secret DOD clearance.

  • Four (4) out of the past six (6) years of work experience related to international acquisition programs.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or discipline, or associate degree plus four years of acquisition program management experience (total of 10 years).

  • Familiarity with DoD Instruction (DoDI) 5000.2 (Operation of the Defense Acquisition System), DoD Directive (DODD) 5530.03 (International Agreements), and the International Cooperation in Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (IC in AT&L) Handbook

  • Experience in defense acquisition program management related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management

  • Demonstrated experience in the development, management, and execution of international cooperative projects/programs.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects of the development, production, deployment, and sustainment of systems, subsystems, and equipment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the system equipment life-cycle phases and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Security Assistance/Security Cooperation (SA/SC) programs to include the understanding of the FMS sales process from case development, implementation, execution, to closure, in accordance with the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), DoD 5105.38-M

This is a Hybrid/Telework position.

OurAcquisition Management Analyst (PTMU Acquisition Planner), as a recognized authority in the principles of acquisition management, supports our team in applying knowledge and expertise in acquisition program management to specified programs throughout their life cycles. Is a recognized authority in the acquisition process and areas relating to acquisition policy matters including acquisition streamlining, integrated systems management, manning, best practices, and lessons learned. Our Analyst provides expertise and innovation in interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments. Applies principles, theories, and concepts to the exploration of the subject area, definition of scope, and selection of problems for investigation. May be called on to support the System Program Director at executive levels within the government and other contractor organizations, including major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and major milestone events. Interacts regularly with the program office, supporting government offices, other contractors, and higher headquarters mid to upper-level staff. Is assigned to support key, critical acquisition programs.

You will be part of a dynamic team of F-35 JPO Program Managers and Analysts who works closely with the customer and other key F-35 National Security and Allied stakeholders to deliver quality F-35 systems.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist Propulsion PMO in managing cost, schedule, and performance for the F-135 engine across development, production, sustainment, and modernization.

  • Assist F-135 Engine and Power and Thermal Management System (PTMS) Modernization (EPM) which consists of F-135 Engine Core Upgrade (ECU), and Power and Thermal Management Upgrade (PTMU).

  • Perform the duties of Acquisition Management Analyst (PTMU Acquisition Planner) in the F-35 Propulsion PMO.

  • Assist Propulsion PMO in serving as propulsion system integrator for the F-35 Air System.

  • Assist Propulsion PMO in managing propulsions systems risks.

  • Assist Propulsion PMO in sustaining engines for U.S. Services, Partners, andFMS customers.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Serco is seeking a Program Manager Representative (PMR) to coordinate and implement all technical efforts to support the pre-planning and execution of NAVSEA ship modernization. This includes identification and integration of alteration work packages, repair work, work specifications, design requirements, alteration material requirements and identification of all required Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). The PMR coordinates all work efforts with Regional Maintenance Centers, government installations team sponsors, Ships Force, ISEA tech codes, shipyard contractors and Planning Yard On-Site reps to ensure technical accuracy of all ship alteration data.

You will be a part of a large maintenance team that works closely with our customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems on time and on budget. Matt Weber is the senior manager for the team; he possesses many years of experience supporting shipyard modernization and is a Navy veteran. This team has been recognized by the Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.

The PMR is responsible for execution of the Modernization work package and adherence to the Entitled Process production milestones. Works with the responsible shipyard to understand and identify all work that has been accomplished and planned dates for production completion. Manages and reports to NAVSEA 21 the status of work and financial expenditures.

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor and report (a) MSR and AIT adherence to production and test milestone schedules, (b) financial monitoring and reporting of CNO availability, (c) MSR and/or AIT issues and deconflict with responsible shipyard and sponsoring government agency and, (d) overall condition of ship.

  • Collect, develop, and analyze complex specialized information on modernization production. Serve as a technical advisor to coordinate (via conferences, meetings, correspondence, etc.), the work of many organizations engaged in various equipment-related functions such as supply support, maintenance, and repair. Provide technical data necessary to establish deadlines and phase programs in and out, and to resolve wide-ranging sensitive or potentially difficult issues.

  • Assist in the coordination of visits to ships and Navy organizations, contractor plants, etc., to evaluate NAVSEA or TYCOM SHIPALTs, Program or Fleet SCDs, and equipment-level alteration installations. Ship visits provide a better understanding of upgrade operations and help solve broad operation, maintenance and repair problems affecting complete equipment systems to support various In-Service Engineers technical responsibility.

  • Review and approve NAVSEA related Condition Found Reports (CFRs) for cost, production, and testing schedule impacts. Interface with Planning Yard On-Site Representatives to review/approve design changes or growth work. Negotiate costs with responsible NSA and assigned MSR. Identify changes, track, and report all growth and new work sequences to NAVSEA 21 and responsible shipyard.

  • Coordinate all testing efforts with shipyard and Navy sponsoring Commands. Schedule is determined by the Entitled Process Milestones and milestone dates set forth by the shipyard and ship. Ensure delays or testing milestone changes are quickly communicated to all stakeholders.

  • Participate in Lessons Learned conferences and post-installation meetings, i.e. NAVSEA 21 Hot Washes and Modernization Execution Reviews. Post-install meetings include reviewing red-lined design drawings and capturing any design changes made via the LAR/RLAR process during installations.

  • Demonstrate superior writing and presentation skills to develop briefings, documents, papers, conceptual, and analytical reports for clients.

  • Maintain and comply with security procedures in the performance of duties.

  • Provide training and assistance to other Program Manger Representative support as an expert in a particular field of endeavor as applicable.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree with 5+ years directly relevant work experience

  • In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance

In this role, you will help oversee Program Planning, Financial Management, Business Operations, Engineering and Technical Reviews, and Program Technical Services in support of SEA 04 and related activities.

This position is contingent upon your ability to transfer or obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance post-employment. This position is contingent upon customer approval.

In this role you will:

  • Serve as the primary support for to all task managers and provide monthly program reporting deliverables.

Inform SEA 04's Leadership of relevant news articles, reports and events, draft and coordinate draft responses to media inquiries, including web queries.   • Identify and track Naval/maritime/joint expositions and symposia in the United States and allied countries for possible SEA 04 participation. Support development, production and distribution of symposia materials and briefings for SEA 04's leadership.

  • Coordinates with department heads to obtain a thorough understanding of the correspondence products and requirements.

  • Assist in developing long-term (1-3 years) goals in support of SEA 04's strategic communications plan, charter, and management objectives. Draft regular execution plans in support of the SEA 04 communication plan. Provide briefings, presentation materials, analytical reports, concept papers, and critical issue papers for both internal and external use.

  • Support strategic communications planning and message development. Prepare metrics to measure effectiveness of communications plan initiatives. Forecast and identify key events and public forums of potential interest to SEA 04. Attend and monitor Naval or defense-related conferences.

  • Oversee / Assist in maintaining and updating NAVSEA Instructions, following the Department of the Navy (DON) Correspondence Manual, that are under the purview of SEA 04.

  • Assist in collecting, analyzing and consolidating POM program briefs into a POM Briefing notebook and perform cross-program analysis; extract POM issues from program briefings.

  • Managing personnel as required to support short-term and long-term contract efforts.

In compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $131,293.17 to $227,532.46; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Master Degree in Engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited college or university plus 8-10 years of experience, will consider a Bachelor plus 15 years. Work experience may be adjusted based on education, or highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

This contract provides program management support in support of the full acquisition lifecycle of the F-35 program, to include development, production, and sustainment. This position supports the F-35 Directorate of Acquisition and Integration (DA&I) in its role managing JPO functions as they relate to business operations, foreign compliance, process improvement, cost, requirements, and acquisition.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and establish configuration management documentation.

  • Authorize the release of drawings, and software configuration changes specified by the JPO and other cross functional groups.

  • Provide advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation.

  • Participate in special studies.

  • Shipboard Operations: command hierarchy, shipboard protocol, fire prevention, fire safety.

  • Personal Competencies: Project Management, presentation, writing, computer (MS Project, Word, PowerPoint etc.), and verbal communication.

Serco is seeking a Program Manager Representative (PMR) to coordinate and implement all technical efforts to support the pre-planning and execution of NAVSEA ship modernization. This includes identification and integration of alteration work packages, repair work, work specifications, design requirements, alteration material requirements and identification of all required Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). The PMR coordinates all work efforts with Regional Maintenance Centers, government installations team sponsors, Ships Force, ISEA tech codes, shipyard contractors and Planning Yard On-Site reps to ensure technical accuracy of all ship alteration data.

You will be a part of a large maintenance team that works closely with our customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems on time and on budget. Matt Weber is the senior manager for the team; he possesses many years of experience supporting shipyard modernization and is a Navy veteran. This team has been recognized by the Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.

The PMR is responsible for execution of the Modernization work package and adherence to the Entitled Process production milestones. Works with the responsible shipyard to understand and identify all work that has been accomplished and planned dates for production completion. Manages and reports to NAVSEA 21 the status of work and financial expenditures.

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor and report (a) MSR and AIT adherence to production and test milestone schedules, (b) financial monitoring and reporting of CNO availability, (c) MSR and/or AIT issues and deconflict with responsible shipyard and sponsoring government agency and, (d) overall condition of ship.

  • Collect, develop, and analyze complex specialized information on modernization production. Serve as a technical advisor to coordinate (via conferences, meetings, correspondence, etc.), the work of many organizations engaged in various equipment-related functions such as supply support, maintenance, and repair. Provide technical data necessary to establish deadlines and phase programs in and out, and to resolve wide-ranging sensitive or potentially difficult issues.

  • Assist in the coordination of visits to ships and Navy organizations, contractor plants, etc., to evaluate NAVSEA or TYCOM SHIPALTs, Program or Fleet SCDs, and equipment-level alteration installations. Ship visits provide a better understanding of upgrade operations and help solve broad operation, maintenance and repair problems affecting complete equipment systems to support various In-Service Engineers technical responsibility.

  • Review and approve NAVSEA related Condition Found Reports (CFRs) for cost, production, and testing schedule impacts. Interface with Planning Yard On-Site Representatives to review/approve design changes or growth work. Negotiate costs with responsible NSA and assigned MSR. Identify changes, track, and report all growth and new work sequences to NAVSEA 21 and responsible shipyard.

  • Coordinate all testing efforts with shipyard and Navy sponsoring Commands. Schedule is determined by the Entitled Process Milestones and milestone dates set forth by the shipyard and ship. Ensure delays or testing milestone changes are quickly communicated to all stakeholders.

  • Participate in Lessons Learned conferences and post-installation meetings, i.e. NAVSEA 21 Hot Washes and Modernization Execution Reviews. Post-install meetings include reviewing red-lined design drawings and capturing any design changes made via the LAR/RLAR process during installations.

  • Demonstrate superior writing and presentation skills to develop briefings, documents, papers, conceptual, and analytical reports for clients.

  • Maintain and comply with security procedures in the performance of duties.

  • Provide training and assistance to other Program Manger Representative support as an expert in a particular field of endeavor as applicable.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree with 5+ years directly relevant work experience

  • In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance

  • Ability to travel 10%

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Direct experience with U.S. Navy cruiser/destroyer ships

  • Strong analytical skills, including process mapping, risk analysis and quality assurance tools.

  • Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft applications.

The DOL VETS TAP program needs skilled and compassionate Senior Employment Navigators who can assist military personnel in their transition to civilian occupations and provide individual counseling on the job search process. Employment Navigators would be expected to assess the transitioning Servicemember and/or transitioning spouse's acquired skills via tools/software provided and assist with career exploration and translating their military experience desired by future employers. The Employment Navigator reports to a Regional Manager.

In this role, you will:

  • Listen to Service Members, analyze their expressed needs, suggest solutions, and action plans.

  • Provide job search guidance and career advice; assure the TSM understands and can access available resources.

  • Assist with job matching of vacancy postings, with TSM's skills and work requirements.

  • Provide labor market information, identify companies and industries in specific areas, capture skills and experience required in certain areas, and offer advice on how to apply for jobs.

  • Possess extensive knowledge of the current labor market information.

  • Provide resume and cover letter advice.

  • Assist with training and mentoring other TAP career counselors as well as possess the sound organizational and positive leadership skills for site management support

Qualifications

  • Experience as a classroom instructor.

  • Must be knowledgeable of the workplace, jobs, and requirement for entry into those jobs.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to provide training to groups with up to 50 participants

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

  • U.S. citizenship.

  • Eight (8) years experience as a Scheduler in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • A Master's degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the requirement to six (6) years of experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  • Four (4) years of additional scheduling experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

This position is contingent upon customer requirements and/or their approval.

If you are accepted for this position, you willprepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. You will write and edit technical documentation for all of the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation. You will create code documentation for software; produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation and format technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications

  • Understand basic concepts (to include basic grammar concepts), responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents

  • Gather technical information, prepares written text

  • Maintain a current internal documentation library

  • Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc.

  • Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications

  • Work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials

  • Work on all phases of documentation

  • Understand basic concepts and write technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity

  • Prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences

  • Coordinate layout and design of documents

  • Research highly technical subject matter, organizes information from multiples sources, and express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers

  • Under general direction, write technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity

  • Apply concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources

  • Produce defense acquisition documentation, user manuals, training manuals, and other documentation utilized by the end-user community of DoD electronic equipment and systems

  • Interpret engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures to understand and blend large quantities of computer related information

  • Produce technical documentation for Cryptologic programs or projects developing analytic tradecraft methodologies

  • Apply technical manual standard NSA DS-89 to work product.

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $73,214.46 to $122,024.10; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

  • U.S. citizenship

  • Six (6) years experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  • Four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Serco supports the US Government customer on a long-term contract providing broad expertise in DoD acquisition management, DoD contracting, or DoD contract management. Our team provides business support and expertise to include tracking program status, monitoring cost, schedule and contract performance. You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer to deliver business expertise with an emphasis on contracts, finance, and customer service. Our managers on this team are seasoned Serco personnel who are available and responsive to ensure your success!

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in the execution of the Program's Budget through the creation/maintenance of spend plans, requisitions, and their supporting documents.

  • Coordinate financial data with appropriate Government officials such as Business Financial Managers, Program Managers, Contract Managers, Contracting Officers and Contracting Specialists.

  • Contribute to the maintenance of current resources to support the day-to-day mission activities.

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $96,936.08 to $157,519.86; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

  • U.S. citizenship.

  • Eight (8) years of DoD, IC, or ten (10) years of combined DoD, IC and commercial experience in purchasing or finance.

  • A Bachelor's degree with a business focus OR

  • In lieu of a degree, Program Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), or DAWIA Level I in Business/Financial Management and three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of eleven (11) years of DoD/IC purchasing/finance experience or thirteen (13) years of combined DoD, IC and commercial purchasing/finance experience may be substituted OR

  • In lieu of certification, an additional two (2) years of directly related experience for a total of thirteen (13) years of DoD/IC purchasing/finance experience or fifteen (15) years of combined DoD, IC and commercial experience may be substituted.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to include creating formulas and pivot tables.

  • Experience in the preparation of reports that reflect programs/project status in areas of cost, schedule, and performance.

  • Experience in budget planning, budget preparation and budget execution for acquisition programs.

  • Proficiency with PowerPoint to include importing Excel data into presentations.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Customer's financial management system and its interfaces (currently FACTS, CMIS and CDW) experience is preferred.
