The Opportunity
We are seeking dedicated SIU case managers, within defined guidelines and framework, to evaluate and conclude claims identified by SIU Investigators as having elements of fraud or an intentional act. You will investigate unusual, questionable, or suspicious claims or underwriting activity.
This position can work remotely in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll do:
Reviews investigative findings of claims identified as having confirmed elements of fraud, concealment, misrepresentation, or intentional act by evaluating the evidence to determine transfer or appropriation of claims disposition. Communicates results of review to members, claimants, Departments of Insurance, and law enforcement as applicable.
Leads, guides, and directs investigative activities such as additional contacts, statements, etc. to take appropriate action for identified claims.
May complete investigative leads, contacting local law enforcement, fire departments, etc. to gather additional information as needed.
Serves as the adjuster of record on transferred claims.
Applies knowledge of regulatory requirements necessary to act on claims.
Assists with developing and implementing proactive investigative strategies, training, and communications.
Writes complex coverage and denial letters in compliance with policy and regulatory requirements.
Facilitates fraud prevention training.
Serves as a mentor and SME, responsible for training team members.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
High School Diploma OR General Equivalency Diploma.
4 years of P&C SIU experience or adjusting complex claims experience.
Proven understanding of auto and property insurance contracts, coverage application and insurance litigation process.
Successfully acquire Property & Casualty (P&C) adjuster license and state registrations within 90 days of hire.
Ability to gather broad range of evidence and draw conclusions based on the objective details related to the applicability of fraud.
Proven ability to organize and prioritize workload, performing multiple tasks and devising solutions to problems.
Ability to write reports and document activities and decisions in a case management system.
Proficiency in understanding the legal aspects of SIU related files.

Active P&C Adjuster's License
P&C SIU experience
Related professional designations (e.g. CIFI, CFE, CPCU, etc.) or actively pursuing.
Completed Bachelor's degree or actively pursuing.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Have the ability to work across multiple time zones.

Conducts business strategy reviews to assess progress and drive awareness of strategy achievement.

Drives the development and coordination of components within the overarching CoSA strategy.

Develops specific processes to manage the business strategic and operational planning process.
Drives the alignment of business process and frameworks to enterprise strategy, process and framework.
Partners with senior-level leaders across functions and channels to develop near- and long-term visions and roadmaps and works with business leaders to manage transition from strategy to execution.
Maintains responsibility of integration of change management plans, project documentation and strategies for large, complex business specific initiatives that often impact the organization and/or enterprise.

What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8 years of directly related business planning consultation experience to include developing business strategy for short-term and/or long-term goals.
Experience influencing and managing communication to senior executives, internal colleagues through concise, official and regular updates on status, progress, strategies and roadmaps
Extensive experience in Project Management.
Strong business acumen in financial services or related industry, and a proven ability to balance strategic thinking with practical implementation skills.
Experience working with clients/customers to realize business issues and develop a strategy for the business's direction from the gathered insights.

We are seeking dedicated SIU case managers, within defined guidelines and framework, to evaluate and conclude claims identified by SIU Investigators as having elements of fraud or an intentional act. You will investigate unusual, questionable, or suspicious claims or underwriting activity.

Leads, guides, and directs investigative activities such as additional contacts, statements, etc. to take appropriate action for identified claims.

Serves as the adjuster of record on transferred claims.
Applies knowledge of regulatory requirements necessary to act on claims.
Assists with developing and implementing proactive investigative strategies, training, and communications.
Writes complex coverage and denial letters in compliance with policy and regulatory requirements.
Facilitates fraud prevention training.
Serves as a mentor and SME, responsible for training team members.

What you have:
High School Diploma OR General Equivalency Diploma.
4 years of P&C SIU experience or adjusting complex claims experience.
Proven understanding of auto and property insurance contracts, coverage application and insurance litigation process.
Successfully acquire Property & Casualty (P&C) adjuster license and state registrations within 90 days of hire.
Ability to gather broad range of evidence and draw conclusions based on the objective details related to the applicability of fraud.
Proven ability to organize and prioritize workload, performing multiple tasks and devising solutions to problems.

Proficiency in understanding the legal aspects of SIU related files.

Reviews investigative findings of claims identified as having confirmed elements of fraud, concealment, misrepresentation, or intentional act by evaluating the evidence to determine transfer or appropriation of claims disposition. Leads, guides, and directs investigative activities such as additional contacts, statements, etc. to take appropriate action for identified claims.
May complete investigative leads, contacting local law enforcement, fire departments, etc. to gather additional information as needed.
Serves as the adjuster of record on transferred claims.
Applies knowledge of regulatory requirements necessary to act on claims.
Assists with developing and implementing proactive investigative strategies, training, and communications.
Writes complex coverage and denial letters in compliance with policy and regulatory requirements.
Facilitates fraud prevention training.
Serves as a mentor and SME, responsible for training team members.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

High School Diploma OR General Equivalency Diploma.
4 years of P&C SIU experience or adjusting complex claims experience.
Proven understanding of auto and property insurance contracts, coverage application and insurance litigation process.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Decision Science Analyst Mid-Level for Brand Marketing. In this role you will provide decision support for business areas across the enterprise. Staff in this area will be responsible for applying mathematical and statistical techniques and/or innovative /quantitative analytical approaches to draw conclusions and make 'insight to action' recommendations to answer business objectives and drive change. The essence of work performed by the Decision Science Analyst involves gathering, manipulating, and synthesizing data (e.g., attributes, transactions, behaviors, etc.), models and other relevant information to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in implementable strategies.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio TX, Plano TX, Charlotte NC, Tampa FL, Phoenix AZ, or Colorado Springs CO.

What you'll do:
Leverages intermediate and some advanced business, analytical and technical knowledge to participate in discussions with cross functional teams to understand and collaborate on business objectives and influence solution strategies.
Applies advanced analytical techniques to solve business problems that are typically medium to large scale with impact to current and/or future business strategy.
Applies innovative and scientific/quantitative analytical approaches to draw conclusions and make 'insight to action' recommendations to answer the business objective and drive the appropriate change.
Translates recommendation into communication materials to effectively present to colleagues for peer review and mid-to-upper-level management.
Incorporates visualization techniques to support the relevant points of the analysis and ease the understanding for less technical audiences.
Identifies and gathers the relevant and quality data sources required to fully answer and address the problem for the recommended strategy through testing or exploratory data analysis (EDA).
Integrates/transforms disparate data sources and determines the appropriate data hygiene techniques to apply.
Thoroughly documents assumptions, methodology, validation and testing to facilitate peer reviews and compliance requirements.
Understands and adopts emerging technology that can affect the application of scientific methodologies and/or quantitative analytical approaches to problem resolutions.
Delivers analysis/findings in a manner that conveys understanding, influences mid to upper-level management, garners support for recommendations, drives business decisions, and influences business strategy.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree in quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or other quantitative discipline; OR 4 years of related experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
4 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business experience within the respective industry of responsibility (i.e. P&C, Bank, Finance) OR advanced degree in quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science or other quantitative discipline with 2 years' experience in data/analytics or functional business experience within the respective industry of responsibility (i.e. P&C, Bank, Finance).
Demonstrates competency in mathematical and statistical techniques and approaches used to drive fact-based decision-making.
Intermediate and some advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, developing analysis queries and procedures in SQL, SAS, BI tools or other analysis software, and relevant industry data & methods and ability to connect external insights to business problems.

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $89,990.00- $172,000.00 .

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Director, P&C Pricing Actuary, you will be leading a Property Pricing team focused on countrywide indications and leading, planning, and forecasting activities for homeowners pricing, including analytics related to premium and loss trends. You may also be involved in planning, organizing, directing, and staffing actuarial activities required to analyze and achieve target pricing levels. This leader may also develop new products or rating structures, actuarial information and application requirements while balancing market and financial goals.
This position can work remotely in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel.
The Opportunity
What you'll do:
Oversee the development of product line pricing assumptions and price structure while ensuring price level objectives are met.
Direct the development of new products and implementation of process improvements.
Provide short and long-term planning recommendations for unit objectives by developing and analyzing forecasts.
Manage and is accountable for the work of assigned employees.
Perform personnel management functions, including employee selection, team building, project/workload assignment, employee training, monitoring of work activity and performance evaluation.
Ensure that product prices and designs are congruent with the company's product strategy and goals.
Facilitate the development and implementation of products and projects.
Monitor competitive market, industry trends, and professional research to maintain knowledge of current activities related to products, regulations, market conditions, and innovative alternatives to achieve financial and market goals.
Represent USAA's interest at industry level committee meetings.
Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's Degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8 or more years relevant experience.
3 or more years of direct team lead or management experience required.
Five (5) exams of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
