The Opportunity
As a dedicated AML Business Advisor Lead, you will be part of the Operations Enablement team within the First Line Bank AML Organization. In this role, you will design, execute, and sustain formal performance management practices (Management Systems) across a matrix organization. Facilitate training and support the integration of performance management concepts, skills, and templates. Monitor adherence / progress, communicate, and provide targeted support as needed to drive sustainment.
What you'll do:
Provides gap analysis, recommendations, and strategic direction to enhance business programs, projects, agile projects and/or processes in a client consulting capacity in direct support of AML/KYC initiatives.
Leverages and shares best practices gained from expert industry knowledge to identify opportunities for business efficiencies and minimizes risk.
Researches, plans, develops, implements, and administers business requirements, procedures, contracts, and processes to ensure compliance, and adherence to USAA's commitment to being World Class.
Identifies strategic partners and stakeholders to successfully communicate programs strategic impact.
Leads a matrixed team to evaluate programs long term effectiveness and impact to business programs, as necessary.
Maintains and demonstrates awareness of primary regulation commonly applicable to regulated financial institutions in the U.S. (e.g. anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, fair lending and sales practices rules, etc.).
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8 years of experience with credit cards and/or deposits and/or directly related experience.
Experience and ability to exercise oversight, knowledge and understanding of financial crime and AML policies, procedures, and control arrangements in a complex financial organization.
Demonstrated ability in leading projects, which may have involved cross-functional teams, conducting research to identify root cause, system issues, process gaps and opportunities and providing viable solutions.
Ability to provide effective consultation, to all levels of management, using the latest industry best practices and internal resources.
Experience developing solutions and recommendations that will increase efficiency and improve business processes, projects, and programs.
Experience in negotiating, prioritizing, and influencing to achieve desired business results.
Knowledgeable of the laws applicable to money laundering, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT act, US Treasury AML guidelines, OFAC requirements, and Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements.
Expert knowledge of disciplined execution, change management, and/ or risk management practices.
Extensive experience in supporting business processes to meet BSA/ AML or similar regulatory requirements.
Extensive experience leading change in a matrixed organization.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $120,550-$230,400 .

What you'll do:
Identifies, researches, and defines large-scale, cross-functional AI/ML use cases in collaboration with business leaders, executive peers, and strategic partners. Guides end-to-end efforts to develop scalable, efficient, highly-performant, automated AI/ML solutions.
Applies deep expertise to amplify the impact of modeling techniques on emerging business initiatives. Collaborates with IT architects to design, implement, monitor, and scale cutting-edge AI/ML solutions that translate prototypes into novel products, services, and features.
Ensures that AI/ML solutions are built using industry best practices, and sound methodology. Works with model risk partners to promote a culture of regulatory compliance.
Designs large, complex information assets that enable applied analytics. Collaborates with engineering, data, and information architects to establish and maintain well-governed, documented, and controlled datasets from internal and external, structured, and unstructured sources.
Seeks opportunities to simplify, modernize, and standardize the model development lifecycle. Provides expert technical advice and guidance by vetting vendor acquisitions.
Actively raises the bar on talent and recruitment by leading or participating in communities of practice, talent development initiatives, and technical interview panels.
Clearly translates complex analytical and technical concepts to diverse, technical, and non-technical audiences in a way that promotes organizational data literacy and informs business priorities.
Provides technical oversight for building and maintaining a robust library of reusable, production-quality algorithms and supporting code.
Develops and maintains academic and industry relationships for research purposes. Represents USAA in key internal/external technology and advanced analytics conferences.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, economics, finance, actuarial sciences, science and engineering, or other similar quantitative discipline
10 years of progressive experience in predictive analytics or data analysis, to include 6 years of experience in training and validating statistical, physical, machine learning, and other advanced analytics models.
6 years of experience in one or more dynamic scripted language (such as Python, R, etc.) with a focus on writing code that is easy to follow, well documented, and commented where necessary to explain logic (high code transparency).
Subject matter expert in the concepts and technologies associated with classical supervised modeling for prediction such as linear/logistic models, discriminant analysis, support vector machines, decision trees, forest models, etc.
Subject matter expert in the concepts and technologies associated with unsupervised modeling such as k-means clustering, hierarchical/agglomerative clustering, neighbors algorithms, DBSCAN, etc.
Deep hands-on experience building, deploying, and managing the performance of advanced analytics solutions. Proven track record of providing cutting-edge solutions that drive business adoption and value.
Extensive project management experience and can anticipate and appropriately manage project milestones, risks, and impediments. Demonstrated history of appropriately communicating and escalating potential impediments and limitations to leadership.
Demonstrated experience in guiding and mentoring junior technical staff in business interactions and model building.
Extensive experience explaining and influencing complex technology decisions to both technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels in the organization and with cross functional and enterprise teams.
Demonstrated experience leading business or product/portfolio transformation through use of advanced analytics.

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Business Risk and Controls Advisor Lead, you will be accountable for driving business issues through the issue remediation cycle.
You will promote risk-awareness and the overall effectiveness of risk and compliance management programs, risk analytics and operations in the business. The Opportunity
As a dedicated Information Management Analyst, you will manage and analyze information using a variety of techniques and tools, support data management efforts with business owners and technical teams to include master and reference data in adherence to
USAA internal policies, standards, procedures, and external laws and regulations. This role will support one or more information management functions:
Metadata management to ensure information is understood.
Data Quality to ensure data is measured and trusted.
Retention Management to ensure data is retained and purged appropriately.
Data Security to ensure data is properly secured and handled based on sensitivity and regulatory requirements.
This may include working with the Information Asset Stewards and technical owners to log data sources, support the Authoritative Data Source certification, ingest metadata and data lineage into the Enterprise Data Repository, provide data quality oversight, monitor data SLAs and data quality index, remediation times, and monitor material modifications to ensure re-certification occurs if warranted.

Support privacy initiatives through classification, tagging, and analysis of sensitive data.
Ensure compliance and remediation of sensitive data in accordance to defined policies and processes. Ensures risks associated with business activities are identified, measured, and controlled with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

As a dedicated Compliance and Operational Risk Testing Analyst Lead, you will be a member of the second line of defense, oversees the execution of independent testing under the Enterprise Testing program methodology to ensure departmental processes and activities comply with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. The Opportunity
As a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist Senior, for Auto, you will support USAA's financial strength through measurement, analysis, and review of quality assurance and compliance related business processes. You will be responsible for executing quality assurance and first-level reviews of business processes which involve reviewing documentation to ensure activities are in line with USAA's policies and procedures. What you have:
High School Diploma OR General Equivalency Diploma.
4 years of related work experience in a quality assurance role within a financial services industry in the specific functional area (i.e., Claims) combined with customer service, operations, or processing experience in the specific functional area (i.e., Claims).
Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to deliver presentations and communicate information in a way that is easily understood by varying audiences.
Knowledge of relevant processes, procedures, and internal policies with experience in delivering training and serving as an effective resource to team members.

As a We are currently seeking a dedicated Sr. Auto Appraiser - Field. This position will be primarily doing field inspections and virtual estimating in the Houston Metro, TX area.
Within defined guidelines and framework responsible to investigate, evaluate and appraise vehicle damage claims for both repairable and total loss vehicles to ensure estimate accuracy in compliance with state laws and regulations. Accountable for delivering exceptional member service through setting appropriate expectations, proactive communications, advice, and emotional intelligence.
The Opportunity
What you'll do:
With the use of digital tools, evaluates and appraises highly complex auto physical damage claims in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, corporate guidelines and state laws and regulations.
Investigates claim damages including communicating with the insured, internal claims adjusters, and third parties/vendors. May require face-to-face interactions with members and third parties.
Reviews facts of loss and vehicle damage to determine if subrogation opportunities exist and ensures all supporting physical damage documentation is in the claim.

Maintains high standards of productivity through effective desk management, timely follow ups, and accurate mapping of repair plan and timeline for repair in support of fast and accurate claims adjudication.
Responsible for reviewing additional damages received from repair facilities to either complete a supplement or triage to field provider method of inspection.
May serve as a subject matter expert representative for disputed claims or trials. Serves as a resource to team members on escalated issues of a routine nature.
Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate highest complexity claims resolution. May also involve external regulatory coordination to ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
2 years of auto appraising experience.
Proficient knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution process and claim appraisal process and procedures.
Advanced working knowledge of estimating losses using CCC or similar estimating platforms.
Demonstrated written and verbal skills to communicate with members, claimants, repair facilities, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.

As a Customer Service Claims Representative you will be part of an outstanding contact service center, where you will focus on providing claims service to members regarding the initial contact on all auto OR property First Notice of Loss (FNOL) claims. In addition, you will respond to status inquiries from various parties, document reported losses, set appropriate expectations, provide proactive communications, advice, and empathy to our members.
What you'll do:
Document First Notice of Loss by obtaining relevant information for effective claim investigation. Set up appropriate services, as needed, to proactively move claims forward to the furthest point in the process within scope of role and expectation.
Create loss reports, describe or verify coverage as appropriate, and initiate the most effective method of damage assessment to assign for file handling.
Assist with questions regarding the claims process and set expectations for next steps to help ensure claims are effectively resolved and accurately documented.
Resolve status inquiries and, when appropriate, route to handling adjuster.
Effectively operate in a fast-paced, high-volume, contact center environment taking back-to-back calls and navigating multiple systems and programs while maintaining an engaging member interaction that occurs across multiple communication channels.

This position will be a field role working the Gainesville Metro, FL area. Military veterans and spouses are highly encouraged to apply.
Within defined guidelines and framework, you are responsible to investigate, evaluate and appraise vehicle damage claims for both repairable and total loss vehicles to ensure estimate accuracy in compliance with state laws and regulations. You are accountable for delivering exceptional member service through setting appropriate expectations, proactive communications, advice, and empathy.

The Opportunity
What you'll do:
With the use of digital tools, evaluates and appraises highly complex auto physical damage claims in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, corporate guidelines and state laws and regulations.
Investigates claim damages including communicating with the insured, internal claims adjusters, and third parties/vendors. May require face-to-face interactions with members and third parties.
Reviews facts of loss and vehicle damage to determine if subrogation opportunities exist and ensures all supporting physical damage documentation is in the claim.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of P&C insurance industry products, services, contracts, and internal processes/systems/procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policy provisions.
Reviews claims/suppliers for fraud indicators and refers to Special Investigations Unit for handling, if applicable.
Maintains accurate and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process for complex claims.
Maintains high standards of productivity through effective desk management, timely follow ups, and accurate mapping of repair plan and timeline for repair in support of fast and accurate claims adjudication.
Responsible for reviewing additional damages received from repair facilities to either complete a supplement or triage to field provider method of inspection.
May serve as a subject matter expert representative for disputed claims or trials. Serves as a resource to team members on escalated issues of a routine nature.
Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate highest complexity claims resolution. May also involve external regulatory coordination to ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.
Proactively provides policyholders with information regarding their coverage, repair estimate or total loss valuation, and claims/repair process while setting appropriate expectations.
Supports workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including mandatory on-call dates and potential evening, weekend, and/or holiday work outside normal work hours.
May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs.
Works various types of claims, including ones of higher complexity, and may be assigned additional work outside normal duties as needed.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
2 years of auto appraising experience.
Proficient knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution process and claim appraisal process and procedures.
Advanced working knowledge of estimating losses using CCC or similar estimating platforms.
Demonstrated written and verbal skills to communicate with members, claimants, repair facilities, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.

As a dedicated Bank Audit Executive, you will direct and oversee assurance and advisory services across multiple lines of business and/or staff agencies. Develops, administers, and oversees a risk-based comprehensive audit program. Provides independent, objective assurance services regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of the governance, risk management, and control processes. Oversees the development and administration of long-term strategy and objectives and ensures alignment with Enterprise Audit Plan strategy and objectives. The Opportunity
What you'll do:
Leads the design of USAA's risk-based audit strategy, plan and program for area of responsibility considering USAA's business strategy and complex regulations and regulatory heightened expectations.
Supervises and drives operational planning of the audit team - including core business processes and technologies.
Oversee and direct all aspects of the annual audit plan, specifically related to area of responsibility that is prepared based on risk analysis processes. Monitors and reports progress on this plan to executive management and stakeholders and provides progress updates to Audit Services CAE for Bank
Monitors, independently and objectively, the governance, risk and control environment for area of responsibility ensuring trends and emerging issues that could impact operations are considered, consolidated, and communicated to Audit and CoSA Executive Management.
Determines, plans and supervises the delivery of the risk-based annual internal audit plan including identifying areas of risk and assigning appropriate risk ratings to ensure that critical business areas are reviewed on a recurring basis for area of responsibility.
Approves updates to Risk Assessment to include content and rating justification. Assesses completeness of audit universe for assigned areas of business and recommends/approves additions or removals for the universe.
Reviews Risk Profile for collection of audit entities for assigned areas of business to ensure appropriateness. Aligns Risk Profile for areas of responsibility to the overall Risk Profile for the organization.
Participates in the development of audit standards, governance model, operating policies and procedures for inclusion in the Audit Services Manual. Oversees the implementation of approved changes to maintain an internal audit function and governance model that is consistent and appropriate for the size, complexity and risk profile for area of responsibility.
Periodically reviews and updates the audit plan to consider the risk profile and emerging risk and issues. In addition, evaluates the team assessment(s) of the adequacy and compliance with policies, procedures, and processes established by the front-line units and Independent Risk Management to ensure ongoing compliance with the Risk Governance Framework.
Accountable for the delivery of internal audit work on time, within agreed upon budget, and in accordance with audit methodology, regulatory standards and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
Responsible for effectively managing all aspects of the internal audit work that is outsourced which evaluates the adequacy of and compliance with policies, procedures and processes established by the 1st and 2nd line of defense and provides technical and strategic direction to audits and investigations which are sensitive or complex in nature.
Oversees and approves risk assessments for area of responsibility, including emerging risks and top risks associated with the current material processes, product lines, services, functions. Ensures quality audit work within required completion timeframes of each audit. Drives value to the business while reducing the risk profile.
Ensures that audit processes are utilized in identifying control weaknesses and developing recommendations for area of responsibility.
Provides independent assurance to senior management on the effectiveness of the design, implementation and execution of the line of business processes and risk management framework (including risk profile, risk appetite, and compliance practices).
