The Opportunity
As a dedicated Fraud Prevention and Detection Analyst Lead, you will provide expert knowledge of fraud policies, processes, systems, Litigation, and industry practices to help detect and minimize high-risk and/or suspicious activities. Protects member assets by minimizing fraud loss, risk exposure and by providing efficient customer service; assists with developing fraud prevention and detection business plans that provide employees with resources and information to accomplish business objectives.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. This position can work remotely in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel. However, any individual that resides within a 60-mile radius of the listed USAA office locations and able and willing to work 4 days from the office is preferred.
What you'll do:
Identifies trends and patterns in fraud activity and suggests rule/policy changes to assist with preventing fraud losses.
Leverages expert business/analytical knowledge to identify process/strategy deficiencies and provides recommendation for process improvement. Monitors operational metrics to provide insight to management on business performance and recommends solutions and improvements for fraud prevention.
Reports validated fraud activity to Strategy Teams, Financial Security Investigations and Fraud Recovery Teams, and/or Special Investigations Unit team and performs ad-hoc report analysis to identify fraud patterns.
Responsible for researching, resolving, and providing timely response to fraud activity research requests.
Succinctly delivers sophisticated analysis/findings in a manner that conveys understanding, influences management team and executives.
Exhibits high level of integrity during presentations and interactions with executive leadership.
Provides mentorship to fraud investigators and serves as a resource to team on raised issues of a sophisticated nature.
May provide input to policies, programs and other efforts crafted to prevent, detect, identify, and resolve fraudulent activity by customers, potential customers, and outside agents.
Responsible for implementing action plans for issue management to mitigate potential risks and identify gaps within operational processes.
Consults with internal partners on standard methodologies, processes, and procedures to prevent financial losses from fraud, answers incoming internal partner inquiries.
May collaborate with outside Counsel and Litigation partners to develop strategy on litigated matters.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, supervised, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's Degree: OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8 years of risk management, fraud investigation or fraud prevention/detection experience in a financial services industry.
Experienced knowledge of enterprise fraud management platforms and techniques used to identify fraud trends.
Knowledge and understanding of fraud investigations as well as application of case law and state laws and regulation.
Extensive experience supporting risk/compliance initiatives within the business.
Experience resolving and working through escalated and complex customer issues.
Proven track record to rapidly absorb and synthesize data to form an accurate understanding of context and issues and make strategic and tactical recommendations to business partners.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skill.
Specific to Bank incumbents: General knowledge of REG CC, REG E, REG O and or REG Z Certificates and Designations Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) preferred fraudulent activities for a wide range of enterprise financial products and services.

The Opportunity
The Member and Performance Insights team serves as a central data and analysis resource for multiple units within the Payments & Bank Omnichannel group. We provide analysis supporting Omnichannel strategy and serve as performance analysis -concierges- for the bank's channels, first-line-of-defense risk & controls, and experience & delivery teams. We advance the instrumentation, accuracy, and utilization of Omnichannel critical data elements by 1) maintaining oversight and governance of data that drives our channels, ensuring its accuracy and compliance to regulatory requirements, 2) being the single source of truth for omnichannel performance ensuring data consistency, serving all channels that serve our members, 3) developing omnichannel performance reporting and scorecards in an actionable format to complete the sales and service strategy, and 4) having a deep understanding of channel strategy and delivering insights that help omnichannel leaders and partners effectively deliver a member-focused experience. This position will focus primarily on supporting Bank Contact Center operations by providing leadership with the insights and tools they require to effectively manage the business.
As a dedicated Business Strategy Analyst Lead, you will use quantitative and qualitative analysis to provide thought-leadership on evolving industry trends, market developments, USAA's strategic direction, regulatory environment, and macroeconomic trends for the business unit. Provides insights and information-based context for key stakeholders in the business unit to effectively lead, influence, and impact line of business strategy.

The Opportunity
We are seeking dedicated Sr. Property Adjusters with large loss specializing in contents experince to join our Field Team in Baltimore, MD . As a Senior Field Property Insurance Adjuster, you will work within established guidelines and framework to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle moderate to large loss complex property content insurance claims presented by or against our members. You will confirm and analyzes coverage, recognize liability exposure and negotiate equitable settlements in compliance with all state regulatory requirements.
Field Property Adjusters focus on using technology and desk adjusting for a virtual first approach to inspections and claims handling. USAA also provides a company vehicle to physically inspect losses within your locally assigned territory. Field Adjusters may travel outside of their local territory to respond to claims in other regions when needed. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with paid overtime available.

Resolves and negotiates complex claims settlement and makes recommendations to management for settlement amounts outside of authority limits.
Maintains accurate and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process for complex claims.
Proficient knowledge of estimating technology platforms to prepare claims estimates in order to manage complex property insurance claims.
Serves as a resource for less experienced staff, providing informal coaching as appropriate.
Recognizes and solves obstacles that occurs in the claims process without supervisory approval.
May require limited travel to resolve claims and conduct in-person inspections.

What you'll do:
Primarily serves as Auditor-in-Charge (AIC) and main point of contact for the business through IT/IS Audit engagements.
Leads and executes complex IT/IS audit engagements throughout the audit lifecycle and leads continuous monitoring and advisory activities, special reviews, and investigations.

What you have:
Bachelor's degree; four additional years of related experience beyond minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
6 years of audit or controls experience in a financial services or technology/information security environment.
2 years audit experience in the technology and/or information security (IT/IS) areas.
Experience performing internal audits, external audits, or applying audit, risk, or compliance acumen in a complex operational and regulatory environment.
Working knowledge of IT/IS controls in areas to include Technology infrastructure management and platforms (e.g., mainframe, midrange, distributed), Network architecture and security (e.g., network segmentation, firewalls, proxies, encryption protocols, endpoint protection).

Experience with compliance requirements including GDPR, GLBA, and CCPA.

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Senior Sourcing and Procurement Manager, you will get to work with a top level procurement team in USAA's Chief Financial Office. They will have the opportunity to work with Brand, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Digital, Treasury, Tax, and Accounting while supporting the Strategy Digital Brand and Chief Financial Office. This candidate will take part in sourcing strategies to provide best in class sourcing solutions.

What you'll do:
Conducts all phases in the development of complex and strategic acquisitions of third-party/affiliate solutions to include consulting on statements of work, creating requests for proposals, identification of qualified suppliers, proposal evaluations and negotiation of pricing, services, and contract terms.
Applies advanced knowledge in the design of complex and strategic sourcing plans and solutions to achieve client's strategy through deployment of third-party solutions.
Interprets the provisions and terms of all contract risks with a focus on complex and significant risk contracts that can hinder the Enterprise's ability to execute on the mission, damage reputation, and/ or impair financial stability of the Enterprise such that capital strength or liquidity is impacted.
Collaborates with Legal and other subject matter experts as needed to interpret and ensure accuracy of contracts and resolve escalated issues.
Provides client consultation, on highly complex and critical actions, evaluates client requirements, dependencies and advises in the development of contract specifications to achieve pre-established savings, quality, and risk/cost avoidance targets.
Validates contract against established controls to drive regulatory compliance.
Influences business leaders on third-party utilization to achieve overall operational and strategic objectives.
Engages with internal stakeholders and suppliers ensuring value added, compliant, and consistent procurement experiences across assigned client group.
Applies extensive sourcing and procurement knowledge to execute the sourcing strategy and plan.
Provides guidance and oversight to less experienced sourcing and procurement staff to ensure category plans are executed.
Creates and evaluates commercial and pricing models, client demand and volume drivers, and creates negotiated alternatives for complex contract actions requiring intricate negotiation.
Utilizes significant background experience in Procurement Strategy and planning to develop complex sourcing strategies.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
6 years of experience in procurement strategy, to include planning, sourcing, and/or solutioning, to include 4 years of experience negotiating and authoring contracts, terms and conditions, and pricing.
Demonstrated experience designing end-to-end procurement strategies.
Demonstrated track record of leading sustainable strategic sourcing approaches.
Demonstrated Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership.

As a dedicated Compliance and Operational Risk Testing Analyst Senior, you will be a member of the second line of defense, performing independent testing under the Enterprise Testing program methodology to ensure departmental processes and activities align with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. What you have:

Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying federal and state laws and regulations and guidance or operational risk principles/concepts.

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Marketing Manager Lead - Direct Mail, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies and programs for direct mail marketing tactics that support the branding and marketing efforts of USAA's Insurance marketing team with focus on Property and Casualty lines of business. This includes maturing channel capabilities and performance by developing and maintaining frameworks, strategies, playbooks, and processes to drive performance marketing. You will serve as the primary Insurance Marketing point of contact to USAA's direct mail agency partners.

What you'll do:
Implements strategies and tactics to support the acquisition, development and retention of business and / or effectively manages agency to ensure alignment with goals and priorities over multiple products/strategies.
Applies expert knowledge of marketing principles to complex, and often unique work assignments.
Applies expert knowledge of the business, its products and processes, advising senior management on issues.
Leads and motivates cross functional team members in the development and implementation of key initiatives.
Serves as the primary resource for cross-functional team members on escalated issues of a unique nature.
Leads the process management role through the creation, monitoring and execution of new processes, in addition to enhancing current processes.
Assigns the appropriate level of resources for marketing programs based on key business goals and / or is responsible for leading the development and overall project management oversight of multiple marketing campaigns and go-to market plans.
Leads the facilitation and maintenance of data in internal systems and / or campaign planning tools and / or applies mathematical and statistical concepts to effectively gather and interpret data.
Directs analyses, root cause identification and development and recommendation of key work product.
Creates and uses a product and service strategy to leverage placement (distribution) principles and strategies to maximize business growth and / or makes appropriate recommendations based on evaluation of prospect / customer needs and receptivity.
Effectively follows the marketing process to coordinate and align peers, enterprise partners and senior management.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's Degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8 or more years of relevant business support and / or general analysis experience.
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Subject-matter-expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools to include Word, Excel and Access.

What you'll do:
Independently executes audit test work timely and with high quality.
Executes and may lead as Auditor in Charge (AIC) for audit engagements throughout the audit life cycle, to include understanding of horizontal and vertical business impacts, integrating audits with Information Technology (IT), analytics, and projects.
Ensures engagements are completed objectively, professionally, timely and in accordance with corporate and industry audit standards, when AIC.
Manages day to day engagement-related efforts including work delegation to audit team members with varying degrees of expertise and experience when conducting engagements, when AIC.
Completes audit team end of engagement evaluations, when AIC.
Assists in updating the risk & control matrix for each engagement with oversight from the Auditor-in-Charge and/or other Audit leadership.
Identifies control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement in the current operating environment; develops recommendations for corrective action
Assists AIC in drafting related issues and audit reports for review by audit leadership.
Participates and provides feedback during team audit activities on planning and scoping, business understanding/walkthroughs, and review of risk assessment and testing and demonstrates critical thinking ability.
Executes on audit documentation techniques including key risks and controls alignment to audit test objectives and conclusions; is accountable for completing work paper documentation within quality standards.

What you have:
