The Opportunity

The Product Marketing team acquires new accounts, shapes and implements product-specific marketing strategies, focus on performance metrics, and deliver measurable results. Product marketers accelerate growth through continuous test-and-learn agenda, improvement of paid marketing efforts, and expert allocation of marketing investments. The team will ideate, plan, launch, measure, and optimize marketing campaigns to drive sustainable growth at efficient Cost per Account (CPAs). Accountable for a large marketing budget and will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Brand, Product, Risk, and Analytics to drive growth via both new-to-USAA members as well as cross-selling to existing members.

We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Charlotte, NC. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll do:

  • Leads the planning for a fully digital-first marketing lifecycle, inclusive of strategy, member research, planning, direct response marketing, agency management, creative development, compliant execution, analytics and optimization, and performance management.

  • Leads the development and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns to build and deepen USAA's relationship with existing members, and drive acquisition of new members.

  • Provides input into the management of the marketing budget allocations across products and channels to deliver sustainable growth at efficient Cost per Account (CPAs) at scale.

  • Leads the development of the digital acquisition experience, lead adoption of new ways of working, and leverage storytelling to drive understanding & adoption of change.

  • Models behaviors that support and embrace safe & sound business practices at scale.

  • Knowledge of product related regulations, and risk and compliance requirements.

  • Leverages external knowledge regarding the digital space, and networks with external partners to inspire out-of-box thinking.

  • Keep USAA brand and mission to serve the military community at the forefront of new marketing practice.

  • Provides coaching and training to team members.

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

  • Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • 8 years of relevant work experience in financial services with hands-on experience in conversion channels (i.e.: Paid Search, Affiliates, Direct Mail).

  • Extensive experience in collaborating with key partners and stakeholders, influencing decisions, and managing work to achieve strategic goals.

  • Strong business acumen in the areas of business operations, industry practices and emerging trends.

  • Ability to seek and analyze data from variety of resources to support marketing decisions and alignment with key stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Product Marketing, including providing input into growth objectives, developing marketing plans, performance reporting, and driving incremental growth consumer definition, situation assessment, financial analysis, and marketing strategy.

  • Understanding of specific laws and rules that govern consumer products.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with marketing data analytics, including the ability to analyze and evaluate information.

  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to adjust communication style based on the audiences.

  • Ability to exercise appropriate judgment by using information and knowledge to make timely, effective decisions.

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to adjust scope or resources as appropriate, mitigating potential risk to projects.

  • Experience with Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and/or Annuities

  • Experience building and measuring customer experiences across omni-channel campaigns

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $138,230 - $264,200.

The Opportunity

As a dedicated Marketing Manager Lead - Direct Mail, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies and programs for direct mail marketing tactics that support the branding and marketing efforts of USAA's Insurance marketing team with focus on Property and Casualty lines of business. This includes maturing channel capabilities and performance by developing and maintaining frameworks, strategies, playbooks, and processes to drive performance marketing. You will serve as the primary Insurance Marketing point of contact to USAA's direct mail agency partners.

What you'll do:

  • Implements strategies and tactics to support the acquisition, development and retention of business and / or effectively manages agency to ensure alignment with goals and priorities over multiple products/strategies.

  • Applies expert knowledge of marketing principles to complex, and often unique work assignments.

  • Applies expert knowledge of the business, its products and processes, advising senior management on issues.

  • Leads and motivates cross functional team members in the development and implementation of key initiatives.

  • Serves as the primary resource for cross-functional team members on escalated issues of a unique nature.

  • Leads the process management role through the creation, monitoring and execution of new processes, in addition to enhancing current processes.

  • Assigns the appropriate level of resources for marketing programs based on key business goals and / or is responsible for leading the development and overall project management oversight of multiple marketing campaigns and go-to market plans.

  • Leads the facilitation and maintenance of data in internal systems and / or campaign planning tools and / or applies mathematical and statistical concepts to effectively gather and interpret data.

  • Directs analyses, root cause identification and development and recommendation of key work product.

  • Creates and uses a product and service strategy to leverage placement (distribution) principles and strategies to maximize business growth and / or makes appropriate recommendations based on evaluation of prospect / customer needs and receptivity.

  • Effectively follows the marketing process to coordinate and align peers, enterprise partners and senior management.

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • 8 or more years of relevant business support and / or general analysis experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience.

  • Subject-matter-expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools to include Word, Excel and Access.

  • Subject-matter-expert knowledge of relevant industry data sources.

  • Expertise in developing and executing direct mail campaigns, with comprehensive knowledge of the entire direct mail process, including printing, processing, postage requirements, vendor management, and industry best practices.

  • Experience with evaluating and testing direct mail components, including content, format, lists, offers, segmentation, as well as A/B testing.

  • Ability to leverage customer data and segmentation to personalize messages and enhance relevance.

  • Ability to oversee Agency of Record for budget evaluation, production management, and campaign implementation, while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency.

  • Capability to collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to guarantee the effective execution of campaigns, encompassing creative development, audience growth, and analytics.

  • US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner

The Opportunity

As a dedicated Marketing Manager Lead - Direct Mail, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies and programs for direct mail marketing tactics that support the branding and marketing efforts of USAA's Insurance marketing team with focus on Property and Casualty lines of business. This includes maturing channel capabilities and performance by developing and maintaining frameworks, strategies, playbooks, and processes to drive performance marketing. You will serve as the primary Insurance Marketing point of contact to USAA's direct mail agency partners.

What you'll do:

  • Implements strategies and tactics to support the acquisition, development and retention of business and / or effectively manages agency to ensure alignment with goals and priorities over multiple products/strategies.

  • Applies expert knowledge of marketing principles to complex, and often unique work assignments.

  • Creates and uses a product and service strategy to leverage placement (distribution) principles and strategies to maximize business growth and / or makes appropriate recommendations based on evaluation of prospect / customer needs and receptivity.

  • Effectively follows the marketing process to coordinate and align peers, enterprise partners and senior management.

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

As a dedicated Senior Property Adjuster, you will work within established guidelines and framework to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex property insurance claims presented by or against our members. You will confirm and analyze coverage, recognize liability exposure and negotiate equitable settlements in compliance with all state regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong virtual estimating skills for moderate to large severity losses and/or reconcile estimates while working in a telephone concentrated environment without physical inspection of loss.

This hybrid role requires an individual to be in the office 3 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Colorado Springs, CO, Chesapeake, VA, and Phoenix, AZ. Typical work schedules are 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (local time) Monday to Friday and may include some weekends. The Inside Property Adjuster role is a call center environment with a high volume of calls. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with paid overtime available. We have new training classes starting every month. Relocation assistance is not available.

The Opportunity

What you'll do:

  • Manage assigned claims caseload comprised of claims with complex damages including specialty claims. Updates initial reserve levels.

  • Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate complex claims. May also involve external regulatory coordination to ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.

  • Investigates claim damages by conducting research from various sources, including the insured, third parties, and external resources.

  • Proactively identifies and engages in additional confirmation of potential discrepancies involving complicated situations.

  • Serves as a resource for less experienced staff, providing informal coaching as appropriate.

  • Identifies coverage concerns, reviews prior loss history, determines and creates Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals, when appropriate Determines coverage through analyzing information involving complex policy terms and contingencies.

  • Communicates with insured about coverage or any issues that involve additional information or considerations regarding settlement amount.

  • Determines and negotiates complex claims settlement. Makes recommendations to management for settlement amounts outside of authority limits.

  • Maintains accurate and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process for complex claims.

  • Proficient knowledge of estimating technology platforms. Utilizes platforms to prepare claims estimates in order to manage complex property insurance claims.

  • Supports workload surges and/or Catastrophe (CAT) operations as needed to include working significant overtime; may involve deployment travel during designated CATs.

  • May act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

  • Recognizes and solves obstacles that occurs in the claims process without supervisory approval.

  • May require limited travel to resolve claims and conduct in-person inspections.

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

  • 2 years' relevant property claims adjusting experience of moderate complexity that includes writing estimates involving dwelling and structural damages

We are seeking dedicated Fraud Prevention and Detection Specialist- Intermediate to join our Specialized Servicing team.

Within defined guidelines and framework, applies basic analytical skills on high risk financial and non-financial transactions to detect and prevent fraudulent activities for a wide range of enterprise financial products and services. Reviews and responds to suspected fraudulent service requests, queues, and transaction records to identify potentially fraudulent transactions or accounts. Identifies problems and issues by performing relevant research using the appropriate tools and by following established procedures.

This hybrid role requires an individual to be in the office 3 days per week . This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, or Tampa, FL.

Training Schedule: 6 Weeks Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm CST.

As a dedicated Legal Assistant, you will provide assistance with legal work which is reviewed and approved by the supervising attorney. We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant supporting personal injury auto cases for our Jacksonville, FL staff counsel location.

As a dedicated Legal Assistant, you will provide assistance with legal work which is reviewed and approved by the supervising attorney. This includes but is not limited to research, contract administration, document preparation, and trial preparation. The legal work performed differs by practice area and area of specialty such as insurance, banking, investments, financial services, litigation, general corporate, ecommerce/marketing, government relations or labor/employee relations.

Legal Assistants have a flexible work environment where your time will be spent at the staff counsel office and working from home. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll do:

  • Applies intermediate knowledge to assist in providing support for the investigative process of a trial by gathering documents and information for legal assignments.

  • Collaborates with team to conduct research and analyze documents to prepare reports of findings and formulate alternatives.

  • Collaborates with team to evaluate risk of alternatives and calculate costs of potential liability and assesses benefits/drawbacks.

  • May assist in preparing drafts of legal documents such as discovery responses, affidavits, motions, corporate minutes, contracts, and other legal documents.

  • Applies intermediate knowledge to assist with proper filing of documents with regulatory authorities, courts, other tribunals, monitors status and distributes copies.

  • Assists team with preparing presentations and briefing material on topics relevant to USAA business.

  • Oversees management and maintenance of attorneys' files per the attorney's specifications.

  • May assist with administrative tasks to include, but not limited to, calendar responsibilities to ensure all deadlines are met; check writing, check requesting, copying, and handling mail as necessary to ensure continuous business operations.

  • May act as a liaison between attorney and outside counsel in the exchange of information.

  • Collaborates with team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for escalation.

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.

  • 1 year of experience in legal support or related experience to include multi-tasking in a fast paced and complex business environment.

  • Intermediate knowledge of the function/field and proven application of knowledge, skills and abilities towards work products required.

  • Interpersonal skills vital to communicate optimally in person, by e-mail and telephone; effectively follow instructions from a diverse group of clients, attorneys and staff; provide reports with professional courtesy and tact.

  • Strong ability to focus on details, demonstrate accuracy, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

As a dedicated Director, Fraud Prevention and Detection, you will provide oversight and manage the strategic direction of fraud risk at USAA. Directs tactical operational issues and resolution activities related to financial fraud at USAA. The Opportunity

  • Develops strategies and solutions to enable USAA members to conduct business (open new accounts, maintenance accounts, move money/make payments, debit/credit cards, etc.) while reducing fraud risk.
