The Opportunity
As a dedicated Business Process Owner Lead, you will lead planning for highly complex processes including problem definition, evaluation of requirements, design, testing, and implementation of business processes. Understands the process operating objectives, business rules, performance requirements, risks, and controls and interactions between dependent processes to minimize failures, eliminate redundancies, and control process performance necessary to achieve efficient, effective design and execution of the process Actively develops and drives alignment of process to overall experience strategy and vision.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC or Tampa, FL. What you'll do:
Develops business process result program plans that align customer, business deliverable and enterprise strategy. Ensures alignment with customer and appropriate roadmap(s).
Applies and maintains expert knowledge of the business and leads ongoing alignment and development of business deliverable processes and capabilities with business needs to materially change and improve business performance.
Serves as strategic advisor bringing varied perspective to leverage multiple ways of thinking while developing end-user focused process solution.
Guides and influences process re-engineering and technology implementation to enable process redesign and innovation. Leads the overall management of process performance by developing control limits, monitoring key performance indicators and informing partners of any deficiencies, improvements, operational risks issues, etc. and drives collaborative efforts to ensure process delivers against requirements.
Identifies, owns, implements, enhances, and aligns controls to mitigate operational and compliance risks as it pertains to owned processes as it pertains to owned processes.
Collects and consolidates demand and finds opportunities by business portfolio, vertically within the business unit and/or horizontally across the enterprise.
Reviews, advises, and develops communication plans for customers and internal collaborators and ensures communications are in alignment with overall strategy.
Ensures alignment between internal partners and customers across all business process projects and services using proactive communication and engagement strategies.
Uses data and analytics to deliver insight into customer and business process performance and shares standard methodologies with overall team.
Stays current with emerging technologies and evaluates business processes to lead continuous process improvement efforts.
Lead solution development including business case / benefits substantiation and drive business requirements for process improvement initiatives.
Provides mentorship and guidance support for team and applicable business partners.
Plans and designs business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are optimally identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8 years business process execution/knowledge/experience, consulting, and/or process engineering/optimization.
Experience in successfully applying quality management, process improvement, and problem-solving tools and methodologies.
Experience in implementing and sustaining change/improvements (change champion).
Extensive hands-on experience with Process Mapping and Modeling and creating and validating process documentation.
Extensive experience in the application of process management standards and policies, and comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulations and risk management practices.
Demonstrated experience with Lean, Business Process Management, or similar methodology.
Demonstrated experience with applying various systems to collect and analyze data.
Knowledge of federal laws, rules, regulations, and applicable guidance to include: OCC Heightened Standards, BSA/AML, REG E, UDAAP/UDAP.

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Associate Actuary, you will be a senior member on this new team and play a key role in shaping the future of actuarial pricing methodologies, developing innovative analytics, and enhancing communication for our Renters and Specialty lines pricing. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and strategy for these quickly growing lines of business. You may also coordinate, prepare and perform advanced actuarial analyses required to develop new products, project future results, reprice existing products, and/or determine financial strength.

The Opportunity
What you'll do:
Establish appropriate statistical plans, analytical tools, and requirements for analyzing the experience of various products classification systems, rating plans, reserves, and catastrophes.
Assist in setting pricing objectives by making forecasts and projections and developing strategies to support the company mission and goals in the areas of product development, pricing, catastrophe management, reinsurance, or reserving.
Utilize actuarial modeling software driven models for pricing, valuation, and/or risk management to develop new products, project future results, reprice existing products, and/or determine financial strength. May make adjustments and improvements to models, when appropriate.
Monitor competitive market, industry trends, and professional research to maintain knowledge of current activities related to products, regulation, market conditions, and innovative alternatives to achieve financial and market goals.
Creatively approach problems and issues from a wide range of perspectives to determine innovative techniques.
Champion and implement innovative solutions to business initiatives. Responsible for training team members on change/improvement.
Exhibit advanced knowledge of actuarial and business concepts provide innovative solutions and creatively solve business problems.
Represent USAA's interest at industry level committee meetings. Provides data to other departments, useful for their management purposes, from actuarial data systems.
Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related Actuarial/business/analytical experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
4 years Actuarial/business/analytical experience + Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS).
Experience in developing Innovative Actuarial Analyses/Processes.
Experience in metric development/monitoring.
Strong communication/presentation skills.
What sets you apart:
Strong knowledge of Excel and at least one programming language or modeling software package (Python, SQL, R, SAS, etc.)
Demonstrated experience with a variety of actuarial pricing methodologies
Demonstrated experience translating analytics into manageable visualizations
Ability to effectively communicate insights and solutions to broad audiences including actuarial and non-actuarial stakeholders
Personal lines pricing experience
Familiarity and experience with industry pricing software such as Earnix
US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner

The Audit Risk and Governance Executive will lead the oversight of USAA's 2nd line Risk team and will help reshape and confirm the RCSA process. The Opportunity
What you'll do:
Leads the design of USAA's risk-based audit strategy, plan and program for area of responsibility considering USAA's business strategy and complex regulations and regulatory heightened expectations.
Supervises and drives operational planning of the audit team - including core business processes and technologies.
Oversee and direct all aspects of the annual audit plan, specifically related to area of responsibility that is prepared based on risk analysis processes. Monitors and reports progress on this plan to executive management and stakeholders and provides progress updates to Audit Services VP and CAE.

Participates in the development of audit standards, governance model, operating policies and procedures for inclusion in the Audit Services Manual. Oversees the implementation of approved changes to maintain an internal audit function and governance model that is consistent and appropriate for the size, complexity and risk profile for area of responsibility.

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Director, Special Investigations Unit for Property & Casualty Insurance , you will be responsible for the Claims fraud investigation strategy, program management, regional management of investigative staff and the results achieved. The Opportunity
What you'll do:
Monitor, govern and is accountable for low to moderately complex CoSA or LOB portfolios.
Complete governance routines per the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) Policy, Standards and Procedures.
Monitor a low to moderately complex portfolio on an ongoing basis, to resolve issues and disseminate information to stakeholders.
Facilitate the identification, management, and resolution of systemic cross-work risks / issues and interdependency conflicts for work effort(s) / program deliverables and informs portfolio team and stakeholders as needed.

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Product Development Manager, you will support the development of new products into target strategic markets. You will provide support for product line initiatives related to product development, compliance, operational and process improvements, claims management, vendor management, product documentation, fulfillment, and/or system releases.

What you'll do:
Participate in the development of digital first products supporting the needs and risks of USAA Members.
Support efforts to develop and launch new innovative product offerings as well as auxiliary/enhanced features/services for existing products.

Generate creative product and coverage solutions for member needs to ensure a dynamic product development pipeline exists.

Develop and communicate the new product value proposition for product enhancements/features.
Guide Member Contact teams on how to effectively use sales guides and provides education on new products and services, including new offerings and enhancements to existing features.
Analyze and evaluate new product performance metrics to recommend offering change, if necessary, prior to full launch.
Coordinate with relevant control partners (to include Leal, Compliance, and Risk Management) to ensure product offerings are designed and implemented in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

What you have:

Knowledge and understanding of Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC).

What you'll do:
Participate in the development of digital first products supporting the needs and risks of USAA Members.

Coordinate with relevant control partners (to include Leal, Compliance, and Risk Management) to ensure product offerings are designed and implemented in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

As a dedicated Director, Underwriting Research , you will be responsible for Managing a team of staff insurance professionals in planning, developing, and administration of P&C Auto Underwriting Strategic Programs which support both corporate and P&C operational performance objectives.
