Job Description:

Job Summary

This position ensures accounting transactions are properly recorded, posted, processed, and reported. He/She completes the day-to-day maintenance to ensure thorough and accurate general ledgers. This position uploads, analyzes, and processes journal entries. He/She performs and review standard month-end entries. This position communicates and documents accounting procedures for specialized accounting and financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Creates, modifies, and tests reports.

• Reviews production issues for escalation and resolution.

• Communicates with users to deliver solutions for enhancements, updates, and testing.

• Administers access to reporting tools.

• Interfaces with F&A systems and IT on production issues.

• Participates in developing test scripts to ensure successful implementations of new business units into Revenue allocation and makes changes to existing allocation rules.

• Reviews test data and provides feedback to management, F&A Systems, and project team.

• Works closely with internal and external Auditors.

• Reviews revenue allocation processed data to ensure statutory, managerial and product level reporting is accurate and complete.

• Analyzes variances.

• Identifies, develops and implements process improvements.

• Contributes to department cross training critical functions as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred

• Availability to travel if necessary for training or project work

• Knowledge of internal systems and tools - Preferred

• Experience creating and generating reports using Microsoft products or equivalent software - Preferred

• Knowledge of general accounting and/or finance processes - Preferred

• Knowledge of accounting process including statutory, managerial, product level and network model - Preferred

Seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our outstanding fleet maintenance team. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for maintaining a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers. UPS is currently seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our outstanding fleet maintenance team.Automotive Technician will maintain a diverse range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy duty on road tractors and trailers from various manufacturers. Powered vehicle propulsion includes diesel, gasoline and alternative technology power plants (including compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, propane, hybrid and electrical in some locations).Automotive Techniciansmust be skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining various systems including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical and engine control.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Meets D.O.T requirements required by job assignment

• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday

• Sits infrequently, as required,throughout duration of workday

• Exercises simple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, and reaching from foot level to above shoulder level as necessary to complete assigned tasks

• Operates standard and manual transmission

• Operates power and pneumatic tools

Knowledge and Skills

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience

• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer

• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools

• Worksfull time shifts: 8 hours per day, 5 days per 7-day week

• Dependable with ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis and complete scheduled workday on a consistent basis

• Available to work varying shifts, additional hours and/or overtime depending on service needs

• Wears personal protective equipment as required

• Works in an environment with variable temperatures and humidity (climatic conditions), exposure to cleaning materials, petroleum products, dust, dirt, and noise, outside inclement weather, etc.

• Works cooperatively in a diverse work environment

• Communicates effectivelythrough sight, hearing, and/or otherwise, to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $38.11 per hour. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions.

Job Summary

This position assists the Package Dispatch Supervisor (PDS) with dispatch analysis and daily routine tasks that support the dispatch and preload teams. He/She is responsible for analyzing dispatch plans, identifying areas of opportunity, report publication and service audits.
