Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring the execution of merchandise presentation plans and priorities for assigned departments. Ensures an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.

Responsibilities:

  • Role models exceptional customer service

  • Creates a positive internal and external customer experience

  • Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality

  • Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards

  • Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards

  • Maintains current, fresh, and fashionable features

  • Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on merchandise guidelines, protection standards and established best methods

  • Ensures Associates execute tasks and daily activities in accordance with store plan; reprioritizes as needed

  • Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides period progress updates

  • Processes cash register transactions accurately and efficiently according to established policy and procedure

  • Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store

  • Provides and accepts ongoing recognition and constructive feedback

  • Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness

  • Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures

  • Promotes credit and loyalty programs during customer interactions

  • Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs

  • Promotes safety awareness and supports maintenance of a risk-free environment

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including nights and weekends

  • Superior organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Capable of handling multiple tasks at one time

  • Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations

  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks

  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to train others

  • One year retail and 6 months of leadership experience

Job Summary:

Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience demonstrated by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principals and philosophy, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store in order to support the needs of the business.

  • Work with a Store Manager in the areas of Merchandising, Operations, Customer Service, and Human Resources within a high-volume store location.

  • Develop creative plans to increase store sales.

  • Coordinate and supervise loss prevention and operational programs.

Job Summary:

Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience demonstrated by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principals and philosophy, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store in order to support the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers

  • Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect

  • Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures

  • Promotes credit and loyalty programs during customer interactions

  • Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards

  • Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards

  • Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day

  • Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store

  • Provides and accepts ongoing recognition and constructive feedback

  • Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures

  • Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs

  • Participates in safety awareness and maintenance of a risk-free environment

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Possesses excellent customer service skills

  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs

  • Possesses strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Capable of handling multiple tasks at one time

  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations

Job Summary:

  • Acts as liaison between the Distribution Centers and Home Office Merchandising

Duties and Responsibility:

  • Ensures that all ad, test and feature merchandise is received, processed and shipped in required quantities and in a timelymanner. Communicate problems to the Merchandise Manager.

  • Researches vendor style numbers and assigns them to the correct purchase order.

  • Approves over-shipments on purchase orders up to 10% or within common sense guidelines.

  • Approves labels which are not stated on the purchase order based on each department's predetermined list.

  • Identifies merchandise lacking care instructions and/or fiber content and instructs layup to separate.

  • Assigns "dummy" retail where necessary. This will allow merchandise to flow through the system.

  • Ensures that damaged merchandise is identified and processed according to established guidelines.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Performs as a liaison for communication between the Distribution Center and Merchandising departments.

  • Selects merchandise for LUD's, LUR's, and pre-distro's

  • Responsible for disbursement of overages and re-distribution of shipments that contain shortages.

  • Directs and controls merchandise which requires special processing, steaming or cleaning applications.

  • Researches special items for the Merchandise Planning departments as well as other special projects as assigned.

  • Approves or disapproves of vendor pack/pre-pack processing.

Essential Job Requirements:

  • High school graduate; Associate's Degree in Business, Retail, etc. preferred

  • Strong knowledge of merchandising

  • Basic management skills (leadership, communication)
