Statement of Purpose:

The primary responsibility of a District Sales Manager (internally titled General Manager) is to maximize sales and profitability by managing one or more field offices of Tradesmen International and it's assigned Account Executive sales employees. A District Sales Manager reports to an Area Manager, who reports to a Regional Vice President. Major job responsibilities of a District Sales Manager include the following:

Major Responsibilities:

• Achieve budgeted sales and gross profit goals through effective leadership and management of assigned Account Executives.

• Manage and develop remote markets by implementing and sharing best sales practices that optimize revenue growth.

• Partner effectively with internal recruiting organization and support internal processes to recruit craftworkers in support of client needs.

• Create and maintain a productive and positive office environment and culture for the team.

• Ensure office team is accountable to company policies and procedures.

The following list represents an overview of the primary responsibilities of a District Sales Manager as they pertain to each area of the office:

Sales:

• Drive sales with active clients, new clients, inactive clients, and prospects, through the demonstration and reinforcement of the Tradesmen sales process with Account Executives.

• Participate in marketing and business development activities to increase revenues.

• Direct and monitor daily activities of Account Executives and implement proven best practices.

• Build strong client relationships, including overseeing client appreciation activities.

• Ensure superior service levels to clients; analyzing information regarding client satisfaction, modifying processes and counseling employees to ensure high levels of client service.

Recruiting Operations

• Build a quality workforce by overseeing the retention of quality field employees.

• Build positive field employee relationships, including overseeing employee orientation/ appreciation/safety culture activities.

Safety:

• Create and enforce a safety culture within the office that reinforces safety as our core value.

• Attend and participate in monthly Area safety meetings.

• Promote organizational safety campaigns/safety awareness techniques.

• Monitor OSHA safety training compliance.

Office Management:

• Plan, control, and monitor office sales budget.

• Analyze financial and other data reports; recommend modifications to contain costs.

• Conduct office meetings as required.

Office Staff Development:

• Manage staff member performance by establishing clear goals and objectives, KPI's, timelines, performance measurement to goals and KPI's and performance feedback and coaching and development to staff members.

• Create a positive office environment that enhances productivity and job satisfaction of office members.

• Responsibility for hire, discipline, and termination actions for office members.

The salary for this position is $110,000. Employees in this position may also, in some circumstances, be eligible for bonus payments on top of the salary payments described above provided the employee meets the requirements of the applicable bonus plan.

Total Rewards include annual salary with uncapped commission, and a monthly auto reimbursement, company matched 401(k), PTO and paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, short term disability, and voluntary supplemental life insurance.

WC's are expected to leverage available resources to source, engage, and pre-qualify craft-professionals in required volumes and turn-around times to meet office hiring needs.

WC's are responsible for using a data driven approach to maximize efforts and outcomes, following all established processes/procedures, delivering exceptional candidate experiences, and providing a positive and consultative approach when working with our clients; Tradesmen's Field Offices.

Source - leverage available tools to identify qualified craft-professional candidates across a variety of in-demand trades throughout Tradesmen's National footprint

- Engage - create enticing and authentic outreach to attract top talent and positively present Tradesmen as an employer of choice. These efforts should support immediate hiring needs and create fertile pipeline for future needs

- Evaluate - leverage known success profiles and a consistent interview process to present Tradesmen in a positive and authentic manner while evaluating candidate skill

- Problem Solve - leverage available data and reporting to ensure effort and outcomes are closely aligned, evaluate progress and use appropriate urgency to escalate challenges or barriers, research and present solutions

- Consult - partner with offices to ensure thorough understanding of recruiting need, expectations, and recruiting game-plan, ensure consistent communication and follow-up and tracking of efforts and results, provide updates at specified intervals and as needed

- Support - support all aspects of the recruitment and hiring process. This may include completing hiring evaluations, developing internal and external recruiting strategies to support hiring needs, supporting candidates through the on-boarding and orientation process, and enhancing office efforts to engage and mobilize current and recent field employees, and performing other duties as assigned. Supporting candidates in the onboarding and orientation process means answering questions and providing information. Requirements

Previous recruiting, customer/client relations, HR, and/or communications experience required.

Experience in iCIMS and Excel a plus.
