Work closely with Treasury Solutions teammates and leadership to support or identify initiatives that create value for Truist. This could include market research and product development initiatives, optimization of existing products, vendor/cost management, pricing initiatives or market positioning projects
Independently design or complete client-based, product-based and other analysis including profitability, billing and other items requiring strong excel skills. Leverage and support junior talent to develop efficient analysis skills
Assist with business development by supporting new product development, existing product optimization, pricing and proposal efforts or other intiatives specific to their group. Contribute proactively and vet ideas independently and thoughtfully propose them to manager for discussion
Create, review and manage product or team content to ensure it is up to date and being leveraged by teammates effectively. Identify gaps in content or training and proactively work to resolve them
Design and/or prepare monthly and other reporting to provide insight into product usage, profitability and deal outcomes. Capable of creating reporting for senior leaders with limited oversight. Execute, facilitate and/or monitor execution of Risk Program requirements (e.g., RCSA, KRIs, etc.) within the Business Unit. Provide risk advice and influence to assigned Business Unit. Aggregate, integrate, correlate and report risks for assigned Business Unit. Identify and opine on remediation to address weaknesses related to inadequate or failed processes, people, and systems, or external events and ensure effective remediation.

Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent education and related training or experience.
Six years of relevant experience in Risk or Audit functions in a large regional or US financial services firm or commensurate experience as an examiner within the financial services industry.
One to three years of experience or equivalent proficiency in managing people with demonstrated competency in developing, mentoring, and providing feedback.
Excellent time management organizational skills; excellent communication (verbal and written), and presentation and facilitation skills. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to interact and communicate within all levels of organization and within public sector/governmental agencies.
Ability to work strategically and tactically, comfortable seeing and defining the -big picture- while managing details.

Partner with Line of Business (LOB) segment leadership team to execute credit strategy in line with LOB targets and Truist stated risk tolerance. Leads a credit approval team of Credit Risk Officers/Portfolio Managers that inculcates credit culture through communication, guidance, training and development. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a risk manager for commercial/wholesale lending or specialty lines of businesses. Promote consistency of Bank's credit culture and lending strategies throughout organization. Responsible for leading the advancement of the organizations risk management culture, framework, and appetite
Lead and manage a team of Credit Risk Officers/Portfolio Managers for small to moderate sized portfolio. Engage in the development of each teammate by providing timely constructive feedback/coaching and regular expectation setting and reinforcement. This includes oversight and inspection of adjudication behaviors and activities, including client selection, risk selection, underwriting exceptions, turn times and general level of engagement
Provide indirect leadership to the LOB and Credit Delivery teams of the assigned portfolio through the delivery of credit training and mentorship of client facing lenders/Relationship Managers
Exercise prudent credit judgment and guidance through individual delegated loan authority
Stay abreast of laws, regulations and risk management techniques to ensure compliance and best practices in risk management. Stay abreast of local and national economic trends and market conditions
QUALIFICATIONS
