• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest's needs over task

• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards

• Understand how operational procedures impact shortage and profitability

• Execute Food & Beverage processes including FDC/RDC replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, Item Removal, signing and backstock

• Execute fast-mover inventory by proactively adding and removing items as seasonality, ad, transitions and demand require

• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined through best practice

• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales

• Partner with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) distributors to proactively set and maintain DSD POGs, transitions and backroom space

• Locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to best practice

• Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests

• Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact. Follow body language and verbal clues to tailor your approach

• Engage with guests in a genuine way, which includes asking questions to better understand their specific needs

• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience

ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE

The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Help empower the team to create a consistent experience for our guests. Help assess reporting to identify gaps in GM and Fulfillment processes and assist to develop a plan to resolve for the ETL to review and approve. Be an expert of operations, accuracy, process and efficiency

• With ETL guidance, help with execution of processes in inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for select GM areas of the store

• With ETL guidance, help with efficient delivery to our guests by leading pick, pack and ship fulfillment work (if applicable)

• Responsible for working with Closing teams to identify key priorities and ensure the store is guest ready per the ETL's direction.

• Help create a scheduling plan approved by your ETL based off of monthly and weekly business workload and guest traffic

• Enable team members to stay up-to-date on relevant trends and products

• Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team Lead team onboarding and learning and close knowledge gaps through training and experiences

• With ETL guidance, help establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable to expectations

• Per the direction of your ETL, help lead and coach the team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all GM processes

• Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs (this includes early morning, evening, overnight shifts and weekends)

• Assess Fulfillment business and make decisions consistent with your ETL's direction to help teams fulfill all guest orders accurately and efficiently

ALL ABOUT VISUAL MERCHANDISING

The Visual Merchandiser supports a great guest experience by ensuring that visual moments are set and maintained to the Visual Merchandising Guide (VMG) direction and inspirational for the guest to drive sales. They are experts in visual standards, which includes specific merchandising techniques, mannequin styling, fixture blocking, lighting, and In-Store Marketing (ISM) elements.

• Partner with leaders and TMs to maintain visual integrity by remerchandising in-store visual moments

• With ETL/SD guidance, solve merchandising issues and adjust sets to create and maintain inspiring presentations

• Support ETL or SD with team onboarding, continuous learning and help close knowledge and skill gaps through training, influencing and hands on experiences.

• Leverage daily interactions and huddles to teach visual standards and how to create inspiring visual moments to Style Consultants and General Merchandise Experts to support building the basket for each guest.

• Maintain organization of backroom ISM space and keep up to date with current signing tools and signing fixtures. Set all non-planogram ISM elements throughout the store.

• Quickly respond to any negative guest shopping experience by de-escalating the situation and ensuring your team understands and feels supported to resolve or address guest concerns and issues

• Create intra-day workload optimization plans for your team

• Assess the front of store experience and anticipate and/or react with urgency to any scheduling needs based on fluctuations in guest traffic and sales

• Enable your team members to stay up-to-date on upcoming major promotions, brand launches and events

• Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team

• Assist in closing knowledge and skill gaps for team members through training and experiences
