About the Role
The Rewards, Loyalty & Payments (RLP) Strategy & Analytics team is responsible for driving innovation, insights, and analysis for our best in class loyalty, credit card and alternative payment programs across the Gap Inc family of brands (Athleta, Banana Republic, Gap and Old Navy).
The Marketing Effectiveness team works closely with the broader RLP team and cross functional business partners on loyalty and payments related campaign and program benchmarking, forecasting, analyses, and reporting. This role will be responsible for establishing and evolving methodologies and processes to enable data driven decision making, cross brand knowledge sharing and the creation of playbooks which will be used to develop marketing strategies, identify testing opportunities, and optimize investments.

What You'll Do
Develop complex models and forecasts for loyalty and payments campaigns and programs
Conduct robust analysis and hindsights; identify key drivers of performance and develop actionable insights and recommendations; synthesize into a playbook for easy reference and collaboration
Create and publish recurring reports and tools to enable program diagnosis and tracking
Utilize marketing effectiveness expertise to support monthly RLP business sales forecasting
Serve as a thought partner to the RLP team and other stakeholders on loyalty strategies and testing opportunities
Collaborate with Product Management, Data and Analytics and other business partners to identify and create new reports and tools to ensure performance can be measured, insights can be concluded, and actionable strategies can drive business results
Who You Are
5+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, finance, analytics, loyalty, ecommerce, or related field analyzing multi-channel marketing programs or supporting detailed forecasting
Proven ability in synthesizing financial data, evaluating business objectives, and interpreting customer insights into successful marketing recommendations
Strong business acumen with the ability to draw insights, tell a story, and influence strategic direction across the business
Demonstrated project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
Advanced command of reporting and BI tools: advanced Excel, Essbase, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, NOVA, Venus
Past retail, loyalty, or credit card experience preferred

About the Role
The Merchandise Assistant is a member of the Banana Republic Merchandising Team responsible for coordinating samples and managing data systems for our in-house cross functional partners catering to both our retail stores and online site. Strong organizational and communication skills as well as a proactive, self-starter mentality is key to ensure success in this role. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is highly valued.
What You'll Do
You are an integral member of the cross functional team driving day to day operations to support product coordination and data management.
You are working with product every day by owning management of current, past, and future assortment samples partnering with Merchandising, Visual, Styling, and Marketing teams.
You help maintain accurate reports and data tools utilized by Merchandising, Production, and Inventory Management teams.
Self-starters will thrive by prioritizing their own workloads to meet deadlines and identifying opportunities for efficiency and process improvement.
You will participate in occasional competitive shopping to keep a pulse on market trends in stores and online.

Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Have a proactive approach to responsibilities.
Strong organizational and planning skills to ensure timely and accurate execution of responsibilities.

2 year degree, 4 year degree preferred.
Retail experience preferred.

About the Role
Job Description Summary
The Data and Analytics organization consists of Data Scientists, Researchers and Analysts across Gap Inc chartered with unlocking the power of data to drive decisions across the value chain of our business.
The successful candidate has a strong analytical mindset, is passionate about understanding the challenges associated with Inventory Management and Yield Optimization, and is skilled at combining strategy and analytics, storytelling with data and driving business decisions with analytics; they are expert at accessing and manipulating complex and large scale data, and applying analytics in support of business decisions.
What You'll Do
Analyze data using statistical methods to understand the quality and effectiveness of inventory optimization processes at the company
Integrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements based on business requests and needs
Advise business groups by providing technical and strategic reports that identify and address business issues and opportunities
Collaborate with brand, business partners, and analytics relationships to impact the organization within established metrics on a regular basis.
Own projects and business processes within area of specialty and deliver high quality of work.
Who You Are
Proficient in data access and analysis methods for large customer and transactional data: Expert SQL skills and working experience with an array of data extraction, manipulation and summarization languages and toolsets such as Python, Databricks, Azure
Familiarity and experience using visualization and dashboard tools such as Tableau and Power BI
Strong business acumen, and superior written, verbal and presentation skills
Anticipate operational/program issues and develops preventative measures
Apply fully functional professional knowledge in Analytics
