• Consistently provide excellent guest service, which includes:

• Engaging with our guests to learn their wants and needs so that you can help them create their meal solution

• Maintaining knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store and work across departments to assist guests

• Ensure excellent product is ready for our guests by inspecting our store products for proper rotation, cleaning, sanitation procedures, completing reports as necessary

• Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking our products and specialty items throughout the day, while also making sure nearby guests are assisted

• Follow all The Fresh Market standards, policies and protocols

• Present self in a professional manner, including adhering to uniform standards

• Clean guest bathrooms by washing, rinsing, sanitizing all equipment, and washing floors

• Gather shopping carts from parking lot and assist in general housekeeping duties throughout the store

To meet the needs of our stores, guests, and teams, this position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

At a minimum, what you'll need

• A passion for providing extraordinary service

• At least 16 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industries

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical and Work Conditions:

• Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching, ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself, exposure to extreme temperatures

• Ability to use tools equipment: knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment (unless under the age of 18)

• Required to spend long periods of time on feet and stand or walk without a break (for up to 4 hours or as required by law)

• Required to wear approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment

As a Personal Shopper within The Fresh Market, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest service levels are provided to our guests while masterfully and efficiently picking their orders, and over time, building relationships with the guests so you can understand their needs and preferences. As a Personal Shopper within The Fresh Market, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest service levels are provided to our guests while masterfully and efficiently picking their orders, and over time, building relationships with the guests so you can understand their needs and preferences. These duties are vital to The Fresh Market's ability to grow our online shopping experience and positively impact the store's ability to deliver results. It will be critical for the Personal Shopper to be outgoing and energetic, and capable of having positive and genuine interactions with The Fresh Market guests.

• Provide impeccable guest service during every guest interaction

• Fulfill guest orders by reviewing orders; locating, preparing, and packaging merchandise; ensuring 100% accuracy of orders prior to pick up; making appropriate product substitutions and consulting with guests as needed to ensure 100% satisfaction; and following up on out-of-stock merchandise

• Display a passion for shopping for others and ensure understanding of the store's vast array of product offerings.

• Provide unparalleled guest service, constantly striving to delight and surprise our guests

• Assist with the collection, loading and acceptance of payment for guest pick-up and delivery orders.

• Ensure that the any guest concern is resolved prior to the guest leaving the store

• Provide assistance with online grocery guests via the phone and in-person.

• Demonstrate proficiency and efficient use of technology, including the Internet

To meet the needs of our stores, guests, and teams, this position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

At a minimum, what you'll need:

• 6 months of proven guest service related experience in a retail, grocery, or hospitality environment

• Must be at least 18 years of age **with the exception of Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio must be at least 19 years of age

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to work independently

• Strong attention detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous counter experience as a cashier

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

• Retail, Culinary and/or Grocery experience

Physical and Work Conditions

• Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching, ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself, exposure to extreme temperatures

Do you have experience in meat cutting? Are you committed to delivering a first-class experience for guests? If so, this may be the perfect job for you. As our Meat Cutter, you will manage, cut and trim meat and seafood according to The Fresh Market standards and as requested by our Guests. You will also assist with department inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other operational processes to provide the best product and excellent service at the right time for our guests and to drive sales.

• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items throughout the store and work across departments to assist guests in finding products and complete meal solutions

• Handle, slice, expertly cut and trim a variety of the department's prime and premium meat and seafood products, and items for our convenient meal solutions throughout the day, while also managing quality product levels as indicated within TFM standards

• Monitor temperature of cases, spill overs, and storage areas

• Enforce and follow department practices regarding receiving, stocking, and the unloading deliveries of product to ensure freshness and quality; including but not limited to case, coolers, freezers, and sales floor

• Ensure department adherence to all safety requirements and protocols, including food safety, per TFM policies, and per law

Do you have experience in meat cutting? Are you committed to delivering a first-class experience for guests? If so, this may be the perfect job for you. As our Meat Cutter, you will manage, cut and trim meat and seafood according to The Fresh Market standards and as requested by our Guests. You will also assist with department inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other operational processes to provide the best product and excellent service at the right time for our guests and to drive sales.

• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items throughout the store and work across departments to assist guests in finding products and complete meal solutions

• Handle, slice, expertly cut, and trim a variety of the department's prime and premium meat and seafood products, and items for our convenient meal solutions throughout the day, while also managing quality product levels as indicated within TFM standards

• Monitor temperature of cases, spillovers, and storage areas

• Enforce and follow department practices regarding receiving, stocking, and the unloading deliveries of products to ensure freshness and quality; including but not limited to cases, coolers, freezers, and sales floor

• Ensure department adherence to all safety requirements and protocols, including food safety, per TFM policies, and per law

To meet the needs of our stores, guests, and teams, this position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

At a minimum, what you'll need:

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat

• Must be at least 18 years of age

CERTIFICATIONS

All of The Fresh Market Meat Cutters must be certified within TFMA within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Meat Cutting, Journey Cutting, Culinary and/or Grocery experience

• Production Planning Software experience
