As a member of our Restaurant Foods team, you are at the heart of helping people make great meals easy. In this role, you may work in a variety of departments including Pizza, Sub Shop, Sushi, Fresh Salads, Asian Foods, and more. As a Security Coordinator at a Wegmans store location, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure store environment for customers and employees. Coordinators are the liaison between the Wegmans Asset Protection team, company leaders and the employees within the store. This position requires a self-motivated, independent individual who is task-oriented and will remain highly visible to build relationships within the store and provide incredible customer service.
What will I do?
Focus on people safety in our stores and execute safety programs to create a positive shopping experience and a safe work environment
Partner with management to implement an Asset Protection strategy aimed at maximizing sales while reducing shrink due to theft; benchmark industry activity, identify trends and analyze data
Foster a collaborative and professional relationship with community organizations and emergency responders to increase safety and security awareness and measures
Discreetly observe customers, vendors, and employees to prevent loss; utilize a variety of resources to apprehend and process shoplifters
Coordinate and manage all Closed-Circuit Television systems, and all life safety and store security measure systems
Navigate situations such as medical emergencies and fire alarms using problem solving and conflict management skills
Respond to emergency situations and make difficult decisions that affect the safety and wellbeing of others
Discreetly conduct investigations and surveillances under the guidance of the Asset Protection Manager
Respond to emergency situations; provide ongoing support and guidance to both employees and customers
Required Qualifications
Police Officer/Deputy/Trooper experience working road patrol and/or United States Military Law Enforcement or Special Operations experience
Proven ability to problem solve and effectively manage conflict
Ability to use good judgment and make difficult decisions that affect the safety and well-being of others
Ability to maintain effective communication and composure in a stressful environment
Technical aptitude with advanced PC skills, including proficiency with MS Office
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related degree
Military, Security, Loss Prevention or Asset Protection experience
Emergency Medical Services or First Responder experience
Retail management or related leadership experience

As a Security Coordinator at a Wegmans store location, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure store environment for customers and employees. Coordinators are the liaison between the Wegmans Asset Protection team, company leaders and the employees within the store. This position requires a self-motivated, independent individual who is task-oriented and will remain highly visible to build relationships within the store and provide incredible customer service.
What will I do?
Focus on people safety in our stores and execute safety programs to create a positive shopping experience and a safe work environment
Partner with management to implement an Asset Protection strategy aimed at maximizing sales while reducing shrink due to theft; benchmark industry activity, identify trends and analyze data
Foster a collaborative and professional relationship with community organizations and emergency responders to increase safety and security awareness and measures
Discreetly observe customers, vendors, and employees to prevent loss; utilize a variety of resources to apprehend and process shoplifters
Coordinate and manage all Closed-Circuit Television systems, and all life safety and store security measure systems
Navigate situations such as medical emergencies and fire alarms using problem solving and conflict management skills
Respond to emergency situations and make difficult decisions that affect the safety and wellbeing of others
Discreetly conduct investigations and surveillances under the guidance of the Asset Protection Manager
Respond to emergency situations; provide ongoing support and guidance to both employees and customers
Required Qualifications
Police Officer/Deputy/Trooper experience working road patrol and/or United States Military Law Enforcement or Special Operations experience
Proven ability to problem solve and effectively manage conflict
Ability to use good judgment and make difficult decisions that affect the safety and well-being of others
Ability to maintain effective communication and composure in a stressful environment
Technical aptitude with advanced PC skills, including proficiency with MS Office
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related degree
Military, Security, Loss Prevention or Asset Protection experience
Emergency Medical Services or First Responder experience
Retail management or related leadership experience

What will I do?
Ensure pallets of product are built safely and efficiently in a manner that minimizes product damage in transportation and maximizes trailer space.
Safely operate equipment necessary to perform job duties; this may include a forklift, pallet jack, and/or Vocollect
Perform order audits to determine accuracy and quality
Maintain knowledge of all quality standards/specifications and requirements for all products
Inform operations management of daily quality issues using reports as well as other forms of necessary communication
Maintain the integrity of the cold chain on loads that have temperature requirements
May work in and have exposure to cold temperatures; lift weight of 20-25 pounds on average with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently

Our stores depend on the Facilities Technicians to keep the entire building operation running smoothly and ensure a safe and clean working and shopping environment for employees and customers. In this role, you'll work closely with the store and division maintenance team to execute vital preventative maintenance programs to ensure your store is in good repair and equipment is running smoothly. If you are looking for an opportunity to use your handyman knowledge and skills to provide incredible service to others, this could be the role for you!
What will I do?
Continuously inspect both building and grounds, looking for repair opportunities, and ensuring a safe and clean work and shopping environment
Perform simple repairs, replacements, and maintenance on basic parts including (but not limited to) case doors, shelving, fixtures, ceiling and floor tiles, carts, racks, gaskets, hinges, filters and basic plumbing/plumbing fixtures, and restroom facilities
Perform basic painting/touching up of interior/exterior doors, office, walls, trim, etc.; assist with small in-house, divisional projects, or tasks as needed
Collaborate with the store Maintenance team members and Store Leadership; execute a Preventative Maintenance program for store equipment and facilities; troubleshoot emergency issues while assist in coordinating and monitoring resources and resolutions
Required Qualifications
Previous mechanical or related experience
Experience with mechanical/technical projects including home improvements, remodeling, general repair/handyman work and effective and safe use of power tools
Basic Computer skills/Knowledge

What will I do?
Provide incredible service and answer customer questions in a timely manner
Unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products/inventory
Verify that quantity, quality and products delivered match invoices and assist department in tracking vendor credits and records of inventory, damages and variances
Ensure fresh and appealing shelves and cases by keeping them clean and well-stocked
Help to maximize sales through effective and proper procedures for stocking, rotating, and merchandising product, both on the sales floor and in the back rooms and coolers/freezer
Properly handle products, use equipment, keep accurate logs and follow sanitation practices in accordance with food and human safety guidelines
May work in and have exposure to cold temperatures; lift weight of 8-32 pounds on average with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently
