What You'll Do:
Builds and maintains strong relationships with hiring managers to execute talent needs. Serves as a staffing resource and support hiring managers to achieve talent needs.
Executes staffing for assigned business area, ensuring effective, efficient and compliant recruiting processes, building a strong talent pipeline and ensuring a quality candidate experience to build upon HNTB's reputation.
Manages and performs full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing top talent.
Uses effective sourcing strategies to attract active candidates. Uses existing employee referral, recruiting boards, internet, social media, and industry and community organizations to build a strong talent pool - including diverse talent.
Coaches hiring managers on policy/procedural issues, using strong interpersonal and influence skills to gain alignment where needed. Elevates issues where appropriate.
Executes recruiting practices to conform to all applicable HTNB policies, practices, and governmental regulations.
Develops technical knowledge of recruiting best practices, trends and legislative/regulatory activities as they affect recruiting policies or practices.
Maintains effective business relationships with other human resource groups, other HNTB teams, external recruiting partners, and other available recruiting sources.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related area
3 years recruiting experience
In lieu of education, 7 years recruiting experience

Targets national and international associations, trade shows, etc., to help the division/region/office identify leads, win work and maintain industry recognition.
Identifies, pursues, and executes high-level projects with assigned departments, agencies, and programs.
Assists in the successful contracting and project execution process, working closely with regional HNTB staff and office leadership.
Partners with National Practice Consultants and Leaders to develop and promote technical knowledge and applicability of practice area.
Works with HNTB project leadership to manage client relationships and guides the application of HNTB services within a specific practice area to best serve the interests of the client and HNTB.
Contributes to strategic planning in area of expertise and assists with thought leadership initiatives.

What You'll Do:
Partners with business leaders to understand their needs and align HR strategies and solutions with their goals. Develops positive working relationships and business partnerships in the designated offices and throughout the company.
Provides guidance and support to business units on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Partners with the HR departments to implement, administer, educate, and deliver on HR services, programs, training, and policies and/or practices that support the business units and HR objectives. Provides guidance and support to managers on performance management and coaching.
Manages employee relations including investigation and developing solutions that result in fair and timely conflict resolution.
Supports talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development. Collaborates with office leadership teams to identify employee development and training needs, creating, and implementing a plan to address those needs.
Partners with the business to routinely analyze compensation and provide guidance to maintain or support external competitiveness and internal equity.
Ensures compliance with HR-related legal requirements, including labor laws and regulations.
Analyzes HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Regularly evaluates data and provides analytics to assigned groups.
Conducts exit interviews, analyzes turnover trends, and works with leadership to develop strategies to increase engagement and retention.
Participates in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
Provides regular status updates to HR leadership on the HR Business Partner's progress and impact on the business units.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Must have the ability to travel up to 30% of the time

This opportunity entails being responsible for managing assigned project(s) throughout their full lifecycle including developing the scope and technical sections of proposal and procurement documents to participating in contract negotiations and overseeing the delivery of the project plan to successfully accomplish HNTB's 4 for 4 performance: delivery of quality work, on time, on budget and to the client's satisfaction on every project. This position proactively manages the budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications in support of the project's objectives.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for development of the project scope and fee quotation and assists in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA).
Serves as the primary client liaison and manages the project team to deliver the scope, schedule, and budgets to completion and to the client's satisfaction. Assists with client project scoping and contract negotiations.
Performs technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
Implements the firm's project delivery plan using HNTB's Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project. Leads the development and the execution of the project management plan. Supervises and mentors team to overall project objectives.
Performs coordination with managers on project staffing, including, but not limited to; recruitment, development, retention, and succession of project staff; development of plan for project staff reporting; and support for performance and compensation reviews.
Partners with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions to assist with business development, building client relationships, and pursuit efforts for strategic and mini-mega projects in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Sales Approach (SSA). Works with the project team and marketing resources to prepare appropriate proposal and presentation materials. Leads proposal development and interview presentations for strategic and mini-mega projects to the client as well as general presentations within the industry and community.
May be responsible for the recruitment, hiring, development, and retention of staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession.

What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience
2 years task management or Deputy PM experience
What You'll Bring:
Winning, contracting, and successfully delivering 4for4 (on-time, on-budget, quality, client satisfaction) on projects.
Expertise in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and traffic operations, including advanced traffic management systems (ATMS), active traffic management, performance optimization, and others.
Serves as technical advisor on the use of traffic engineering and ITS standards, policies, and best practices to other departments, and transportation agencies.
Ability to prepare and present technical reports, project documentation, and proposals to clients.
Understanding of emerging technology deployments in real-world traffic environments, such as connected vehicles and smart infrastructure.
Ability to manage ITS asset management programs, including maintenance planning, lifecycle management, and performance assessments.
Ability to develop technical procurement packages for ITS operations and maintenance activities.
Provides support in traffic design activities such as signalization, lighting, and ITS assignments as needed.
