The Role:

The Guest Ambassador will protectively interact with guests to provide information and assistance on all things related to the guest having an enjoyable experience at the venue.

Job Functions:

. Communicate venue information about policies and procedures to guests as they prepare to enter the venue.

. Look for ways to proactively assist the guest to ensure they have an enjoyable experience.

. Answer questions about common venue programs such as upgrades, purchasing fan merchandise, etc.

. Assist guests with needs such as finding their seats, seat relocation, escorting guests to artist meet & greets and finding lost items.

. Direct restroom and concessions lines, as needed, to shorten guest waiting times.

. Assist in resolving guest complaints.

. Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.

. Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

. Report maintenance and cleaning issues to the respective department manager in a timely manner.

. May fill in temporarily with a department to support staffing levels during peak or break times.

. Greet guests as they enter and leave the venue. May also distribute advertising flyers.

. Check restrooms frequently to make sure guests' lines are moving and alerting the cleaning when necessary.

Qualifications:

. High School Diploma or equivalent

. At least 2 years in Guest Service and communications

. Creative thinker and problem solver

. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

. Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy

. A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs

. Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ and occasional sitting

The Role:

Crew members will use their entrepreneurial spirit to sell various venue amenities directly to fans during the show. This includes designated parking areas, fast entry, access to our lounges and clubs, upgraded seating and so much more!

Job Functions:

  • Solicit sales of new or additional services and/or products.

  • Responsible for Point-of-Sale technology with credit card purchases.

  • Use extensive knowledge of venue programs to answer questions and assist guests with purchasing.

  • Show CARE by participating in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show.

  • Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

  • Provide great customer service to all of our guests to ensure a memorable experience.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

  • Position requires you to be able to work during all weather conditions since this is an outdoor venue.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Experience not required.

  • Familiarity with technology such as iPads, iPhones and other devices helpful, but not required.

  • Customer service friendly attitude and good communication skills.

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.

Job Functions:

. Keep the venue safe and clean at all times, including by not limited to: lawn mowing, leaf removal, and general upkeep of the venue.

. Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.

. Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.

. Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

The Role:

The Guest Ambassador will protectively interact with guests to provide information and assistance on all things related to the guest having an enjoyable experience at the venue.

Job Functions:

. Communicate venue information about policies and procedures to guests as they prepare to enter the venue.

. Look for ways to proactively assist the guest to ensure they have an enjoyable experience.

. Answer questions about common venue programs such as upgrades, purchasing fan merchandise, etc.

. Assist guests with needs such as finding their seats, seat relocation, escorting guests to artist meet & greets and finding lost items.

. Direct restroom and concessions lines, as needed, to shorten guest waiting times.

. Assist in resolving guest complaints.

. Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.

. Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

. Report maintenance and cleaning issues to the respective department manager in a timely manner.

. May fill in temporarily with a department to support staffing levels during peak or break times.

. Greet guests as they enter and leave the venue. May also distribute advertising flyers.

. Check restrooms frequently to make sure guests' lines are moving and alerting the cleaning when necessary.

Qualifications:

. High School Diploma or equivalent

. At least 2 years in Guest Service and communications

. Creative thinker and problem solver

. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

. Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy

THE JOB

Responsible for assisting the Production Manager with administrative show and event productions. Confidentiality is very critical to this role.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Responsible for various errands and/or tasks associated with the talent and production of the show.

  • Coordinate and manage personnel, including runners, catering assistants, and backstage housekeeping

  • Responsible for petty cash distribution and reconciliation

  • Coordinate local ground transportation

  • Assist with union new hires

  • Responsible for union payroll submission

  • Coordinate limited aspects of food and beverage with local/touring caterers

  • Ensure stage and backstage areas are clean and free of clutter

  • Responsible for maintenance and distribution of towels

  • Assist with any other aspect of stage production, such as show pass and guest list distribution

  • Assist with artist/tour need and requests

  • Knowledge of region to properly locate restaurants, stores, music stores, area attractions, services, etc. for touring personnel

  • Have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining pleasant and professional at all times.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

  • Calm / Professional and customer service oriented

  • Prior production experience in an entertainment venue

  • Tour and Stage Production experience

  • Understanding of stage lighting, pro audio systems and video systems

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to make clear concise decisions, sometimes with limited information

  • Computer literate in Windows applications (Excel and Word a must)

  • Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or knowledge or stage/touring operations

The Role:

Blossom Music Center is seeking Zero Waste Captains to help us take our sustainability programs to the next level. This role is the backbone and driving force for helping us become zero waste through sorting and educating others. This position will partner with the Venue Sustainability Coordinator and be part of the venue operations team. This is a seasonal, part-time position for show days. Hours per week will vary depending on show schedule and business needs at the time.

Responsibilities:

. Assist in the post-show sorting process of all recycling, composting, and landfill materials

. Be an ambassador to all Band Members in order to help them understand their role in achieving the venue's sustainability goals

. Assist in employee engagement programs such as the water bottle refill punch cards, post show sort giveaways and new ideas

. Engage fans and encourage them to participate in our sustainability programs through activities or education

Qualifications:

Runner will d eliver cold and hot items ; clearly describe dishes when delivered to table and ensure that the bus stations and storage rooms are kept in order. They also maintain the inventory for the bus stations. If the restaurant runs short of bus tubs, silverware or any other food service utensils, it is up to the Food Runner to notify management so that those items may be obtained as quickly as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Stock the kitchen runners' windows

  • Professionally serve and clear all items in an unobtrusive manner

  • Bring soiled dishes, glassware and service items to appropriate areas.

  • Help to keep all kitchen expedite area clean and up to Health Code and Alcohol Regulations.

  • Ensure guest safety through proactive personal interaction and removing hazards in the area of responsibility

  • Prevent and resolve altercations among guests

  • Lead guests and other employees in emergency evacuation procedures and provide assistance

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Works directly with the Ops Manager and Security Supervisor to perform day of show duties

  • Respond to all elevated staff/guest inquiries and or concerns regarding all shows, artist meet and greet packages, amenities including Foundry access as well as our VIP program and seat upgrades

  • Work through and correct guest concerns and complaints regarding security and customer service-related situations

  • Follow up with Security and Guest Services teams to ensure that service standards are met

  • Perform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policy

  • Inform guests of Music Hall amenities & make recommendations

  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encountered

  • Suggestive selling of all venue products and services when applicable

  • Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members

  • Create pre-shift sheet and relay information from management directly to staff

  • Turn in all lost and found articles to Box Office

  • Ensure responsible alcohol service per Responsible Alcohol Service training & Live Nation alcohol policies

  • Ensure proper line of sight maintenance by all staff at all points of guest contact as well as maintaining the security of Back of House areas

  • Leads all pre-shift meetings prior to start of shift

  • Communicate to M.O.D. any issues that guests or team members may have

  • Work with the M.O.D. to resolve any and all guest issues- consults or involves management if the situation escalates

  • Responsible for completing incident reports and collecting witness statements

  • Assist MOD with all ejection logs and incident reports

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

  • Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent

  • Working knowledge of high-volume nightclub operations, responsible alcohol service and guest relations

  • Skills in guest relations/staff relations- Assessing and anticipating special needs of guests

  • Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude

  • Read guests in order to anticipate their needs

  • Turn potentially negative situations into positive ones

  • Communicate well with team members and managers and foster an atmosphere of unity and camaraderie

  • High School Diploma required

Preferred:

  • Experience in a live music environment

  • College diploma in related field

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  • Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful

  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner

  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift

  • Keep floor neat, clean and free of food, trash and other obstacles throughout shift

  • Clean all spills immediately, use floor signs to caution guests and staff

  • Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles

  • Clean and stock line to par throughout shift

  • Follow housekeeping standards per policy

  • Ensure that trash cans/slim jims are clean, free of odor and lined

  • Keep all dust pans clean and free of stuck on debris/odor

  • Keep current on all standard operating procedures

  • Attend pre-shift meeting conducted by MOD prior to start of each shift

  • Assist Other Employees as needed

  • Clean and dust all areas of venue

  • Sweep and mop floors

  • Clean and maintains restrooms

  • Report all repairs required and safety and fire hazards to supervisor

  • Observe safety standards and practices

  • Additional general cleaning of venue

  • Perform related duties as required or assigned within job classification
