Job Summary

We are seeking driven Strategic Account Managers to cultivate and expand relationships with key military clients and government agencies, ensuring our solutions meet their evolving needs. You will play a crucial role in developing and managing relationships, identifying, qualifying, and pursuing opportunities that align KBR's capabilities with the strategic priorities of our partners. This role offers autonomy to manage and execute the full business development life cycle across multiple pursuits and proposals in the military and DOD landscape. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in strategic account management within the defense industry, exceptional relationship-building skills, strong analytical abilities, and superior communication and presentation skills. You will thrive in a collaborative team environment, engaging cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and drive business success.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with military contacts and government agencies, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic engagements.

  • Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and assess business opportunities within the defense sector, leveraging industry connections, market insights, and understanding of client needs.

  • Business Development: Grow and manage the opportunity pipeline, focusing on expanding KBR's footprint and delivering value through innovative solutions and services.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategic account plans aligned with corporate objectives and customer requirements.

  • Proposal Development: Lead and support proposal efforts, working closely with technical teams to develop compelling solutions and win strategies that address client challenges.

  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and government policies affecting defense and security sectors to inform business strategies.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on account performance, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and strategic goals.

Basic Qualifications

  • United States Citizenship

  • 18+ years of experience, including 12+ years of industry experience and 6+ years specifically in business development

  • Proven experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) market with established organizational relationships

  • Demonstrated success working within a complex, matrixed environment

  • Expertise in capturing and securing large, complex business opportunities

  • Comprehensive understanding of government contracting processes, current acquisition trends, and customer purchasing behaviors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven success in business development within a corporate environment

  • Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one

  • Shipley training certification or equivalent experience in proposal development and capture management

  • Prior military experience or experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university

KBR is seeking a highly motivated self-starter, adaptable to a fast-paced exciting environment as aSenior Electrical Engineer, to support theElectromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3)contract atNAS Patuxent River, MD. This work is with a high operational tempo team working on innovative technologies to maintain air and sea superiority in support of the E3 Aircraft Division.

Responsibilities:

  • In this position, you will serve as an Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer providing support to the Mission Systems Team at the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO).
  • This position will provide technical and management support for new development relating to E3 requirements, qualification, verification, certification testing, and spectrum management for the F-35 Air System.
  • Critical to this role is the ability to facilitate teamwork between the IPTs, Directors, NAVAIR and JPO functional competencies, fleet customers, Partner Countries, Foreign Military Sales Customers, and contractor organizations to ensure integration of all new hardware and software systems will meet customer expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

Required Education: Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from an institution with an ABET accredited engineering program. MS in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Security Clearance Requirement:Secret OR able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship.

Experience:

  • Minimum of2 years experience required in E3for military aircraft design, development, test, evaluations,and reporting,in accordance withMIL-STD-461.
  • Experience inE3 includes Intrasystem Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Intersystem EMC, Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP), Lightning Protection, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Spectrum Management, Radiation Hazards (HERP, HERF, HERO), Electrostatic Discharge, Grounding, Bonding, Life Cycle E3 Control, TEMPEST, EMCON, and Electronic Protection.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Identify, Friend or Foe (IFF) certification testing IAW AIMS 17-1000, is desired.
  • Experienceingaining military aircraft spectrum certification, is desired.
  • Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-516 Section 13, is desired.

PROGRAM SUMMARY:

The Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) works in support of the Department of State to provide medical support services. The primary scope of this program is to execute medical support services at the United States Embassy and adjacent facilities in the Middle East.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Manager supports the acquisition of standard hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed and is recognized as an external (Industry) thought leader within a strategic family or discipline.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under broad direction, is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related disciplines or sub-groups within a function.

  • Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to managers and professional staff.

  • Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures.

  • Participates in business development pursuits by providing full functional and technical solutions to complex program requirements for fast turn start-ups.

  • Supports and oversees sub-departmental daily functions in Asset Management, IT wired/wireless Infrastructure and Operations, Knowledge Content Management, Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Communications, CCTV, Reprographics, and SATCOM deployment and operations.

  • Provides 24/7 tier III technical support to a diverse staff and user population in remote locations throughout North America, Europe and the Middle East.

  • . Conducts project risks assessments and renders status reports to the Sr. Management and Executive leadership.

  • Utilizes key policies, procedures, technical standards, and operational priorities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Use of Land Mobile Radios, cell phones, laptop, and other devices to maintain contact and accountability of work activities.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree (preferred not required) and 9+ years of IT experience

  • Must have 4+ years IT Management experience

  • Must be medically fit and willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current U. S. Driver's License.

  • Oversees and approves task planning on several large projects or product lines; approves resource requirements and effort estimates; establishes direction for functional team and direct reports across a suite of projects to balance product line priorities; is responsible for project data integration and tracking of financials, quality levels, and implementation of corrective actions based on variance and critical path analysis for the entire product line; balances customer expectations with internal business goals; participates in business planning efforts and approves results.

  • Experienced in PM processes and process architecture including common evaluation methods such as TL9000 and SEI with the ability to represent the PM organization as a domain expert.

  • Has ability to lead large functional teams through execution steps of a process roadmap and understand project implications associated with process integration.

  • Program Managers should be experts in estimation methods, critical path analysis, earned value techniques and be able to integrate process and quality dimensions into the balance of resources, time and functionality.

  • Additionally they must have understanding of PM community trends in industry and academia, including tools and theories of practices.

The Program Staff Scheduler analyzes program activities such as acquisition program planning, proposal pricing, financial management, cost analysis, management techniques, documentation requirements, or network analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Exhibits capability in areas of production planning documents, preparing and utilizing databases for cost analysis and financial management and maintenance of program security requirements in cognizance with ongoing program changes.

  • Compiles and reviews budgets against actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, and other data sources to control budgets and provide proper financial decisions.

  • Aids in developing and implementing strategies to achieve program objectives safely and within agreed time, cost, technical, quality and other performance criteria.

  • Products are generally acquisition strategies/plans and other statutory/regulatory documentation (writing, editing, cross-walking, and compliance checking), briefings and white papers supporting acquisition decisions at each of the milestones.

  • Participates in the control of costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.

  • Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.

  • Participates in the preparation of budgets and schedules for all contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.

  • Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative or secretarial support to a department and/or Manager.

  • Typical duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work. Under fairly close supervision, works to complete defined tasks in accordance with standard procedures requiring some knowledge of general office procedures.

  • Supports general business operations by providing simply administrative support activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under broad direction, is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related disciplines or sub-groups within a function.

  • Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to managers and professional staff.

  • Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures.

  • Participates in business development pursuits by providing full functional and technical solutions to complex program requirements for fast turn start-ups.
