Come join our team at Banner Homecare & Hospice and make a positive difference in the lives of our patients. Here, you'll be working alongside of an energetic group of Respiratory Therapists that are passionate about providing exceptional care to our patients, referred to as -our Sofia's-. In this exciting and very rewarding field of Homecare, you'll be providing 1 on 1 clinical support thru in-service education to our Sofia's on the following equipment: Pap; ventilator management for non-invasive as well as invasive; oximeters; apnea monitors; air compressor with trach supplies; cough assist; vest therapy; OCD w/ 1 time spot checks; these are many of the modalities that the clinical team is responsible for. Scheduled Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm . You will take part in the on-call rotation covering after hours and weekends. This position provides 1:1 care in a clinic and/or home setting.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position independently provides respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing to patients in a variety of health care settings.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Performs all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed by physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
Applies and manages mechanical ventilators in collaboration with physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners, recommending adjustments to improve clinical condition, patient comfort and to expedite the weaning process.
Assembles, disassembles, operates, maintains, troubleshoots, cleans and performs adjustments in the applications of durable medical equipment and circuitry used in the delivery of respiratory care as prescribed in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
Performs pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing as prescribed in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
Performs patient assessments and evaluates patient response to care provided, making recommendations to physicians regarding the plan of care, appropriate use of respiratory therapy and modification of therapy as clinical condition changes. Documents therapy provided in an accurate and complete manner in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
Communicates and collaborates with resource staff in formulating care plans, recommendations for change in therapy and identification/resolution of problems.
May supervise department staff.
Independently provides respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing to patients in a variety of health care settings. May be assigned to a variety of areas throughout the system where respiratory care is needed. Internal customers: All levels of nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: Physicians and their office staff, payers, community agencies and regulatory agencies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate or technical degree.
Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). RRT required for all new hires to the position after October 1, 2015. Incumbents in the position as of October 1, 2015 must possess their RRT by October 1, 2017. A current license in state practiced as required by state law. In the state of Nevada, all incumbents must have their Blood Gas Technologist certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. In Home Care setting, must posses valid drivers license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy. Employees working for Banner Home Care/Hospice must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment.
Must be knowledgeable of clinical techniques, applications and equipment as typically obtained through one year of clinical experience. Must possess highly effective human relation skills necessary to interface with patients, families, staff and other healthcare personnel.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for patient care in the emergency department as assigned under the medical direction of the base hospital EMS Medical Director. This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional paramedic practice. This position is accountable for the quality of patient services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Evaluates acuity level of patients and insures appropriate matching of patients care needs to unit and hospital resources. Demonstrates the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their specific needs.
Performs basic patient care appropriately within scope of training: positioning, transportation, phlebotomy, ECGs, maintenance of spinal precautions. Administers or monitors medications when indicated and as ordered by a physician. Such medications are limited to those approved for administration and/or monitoring by a paramedic in the State of practice. Assists patient in transfer using proper body mechanics and transfer techniques. Starts peripheral intravenous lines, including external jugular lines, initiates infusion, and maintains and adjusts fluid administration per physician order.
Performs cardio-vascular monitoring and management within scope of training.
Performs airway management within scope of training and within state guidelines to include oxygen administration, tracheal suctioning, assisting with ventilation, positioning, end-tidal CO2 and pulse-ox monitoring.
Actively participates in the resuscitation of critical patients as assigned. Observes and monitors patients through the diagnostic phase of treatment.
Performs other duties as assigned based on competency and training.
Recognizes changes in patient status that requires notification of charge or primary nurse and physician. Keeps charge or primary nurse informed of patient status and current activities. Alerts responsible physician to changes in patient status.
Documents assessment and reassessments within unit guidelines on appropriate documentation forms. Documents the incorporation of assessment findings and appropriate standards statement to support desired Patient Outcomes. Documents patient progress toward outcomes and responses to interventions/therapeutic modalities example: Response to pain medication. Documents the discharge plan of care and services consulted during patient visit.
Interacts with all levels of staff in a variety of departments, physicians, patients, families and external contacts, such as employees of other health care institutions, community providers and agencies, concerning the health care of the patient. Interacts with other health care providers in numerous settings in order to report and ask for or clarify information.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Must possess a current and valid Paramedic certification or license within the state of practice and maintenance thereafter. Current BLS and ACLS certification is required. PALS is required if working in the Emergency Department or with Pediatric population. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on specialty of practice.
Moderate experience typically gained through 2-4 years relevant work experience OR 12-18 months in an educational program.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
FP-C or CCT-P Certification if working in ICU, Burn or CVCU.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Provides complete and accurate information necessary for billing related to the patient encounter in a timely fashion.
Maintains a clean, functional environment including cleaning and disinfection of equipment, exam rooms and storage areas. Disinfects equipment and instruments using appropriate solutions following sterilization procedures. Follows manufacturer's recommendations and OSHA guidelines in handling of hazardous substances. Performs basic maintenance of equipment and coordinates needed maintenance for prompt repairs.
Orders supplies as directed, stocks patient care areas. Medication ordering and tasks related to all medications (e.g. expired medications/equipment and recalls).
Develops and maintains effective communication mechanism with all external and internal customers. Exemplifies service orientation and the team concept in all contacts.
This position will complete all necessary on-boarding/orientation activities, including simulation training, as needed or directed.
This position works under the direct supervision of the providers. This position interacts with all levels of staff in a variety of departments, physicians, patients, families and external contacts, such as employees of other health care institutions, community providers and agencies, concerning the health care of the patient. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge. Completion of an approved medical assistant training program as defined by state regulations.
Active Medical Assistant Certification is required. Certification or additional training must meet the requirements for Meaningful use. BLS certification required. POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. The Multi-Specialty Oncology Clinic at the Banner University MD Anderson Cancer Center provides outpatient consults with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists and other practitioners who specialize in oncology care. We ensure comfort, consistency and continuity by taking an innovative approach to oncology care that ties together the inpatient and outpatient aspects of care. We have a team of highly qualified, experienced RNs and MAs who partner with our providers in providing excellent care to the oncology patient. May administer medications in accordance with established policies and procedures or as directed.
Provides clerical support with patient/client notifications and documentation to include but not limited to complete medical records including labs, authorizations, X-Rays, hospital records and any previous care pertaining to each patient visit. Provides complete and accurate information necessary for billing related to the patient encounter in a timely fashion.
Maintains a clean, functional environment including cleaning and disinfection of equipment, exam rooms and storage areas. POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides front line leadership to employees while organizing, supervising, and coordinating the work of the food service staff in the department. Assures that all food products, food service areas and work processes comply with company standards as well as with County, State and JCAHO regulations.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Leads and directs the food and nutrition staff in assigned area or shift, achieves the daily food & nutrition department production and service requirements.
Interviews, selects and hires qualified department staff, influences staff turnover. Provides formal training, orientation and on-the-job training. Ensures the ongoing competency of staff through coaching and the evaluation of staff performance in a fair and consistent manner.
Monitors and supports department staff to ensure that excellent meal service is provided while meeting patient and customer satisfaction goals. Monitors staff and areas to ensure that regulatory agency, OSHA, and safety guidelines are met.
Monitors and controls operating expenses and other key indicators within assigned areas/shift to meet budget requirements.
Inventories food and supplies in assigned areas; determines ordering and food production quantities based upon established par levels and special needs.
Resolves customer problems and supports staff development in customer service skills.
Works under limited supervision and is responsible for the daily supervision of food service staff in specific areas or shifts while ensuring cost effective and efficient operations and providing excellent service & meal quality for patients and other customers. External customers: patients and families, vendors, physicians, facility directors / managers / supervisors, employees and the public. Internal Customers: Culinary and Food & Nutrition Staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Must possess the knowledge and abilities in food services normally acquired with two or more years of experience and/or education in similar food services management work. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to effectively organize, lead and supervise work areas and teams. Must be able to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests as required. Employees working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, Boswell Skilled Nursing Facility or the Whole Health Clinic must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment.
All onsite food service equipment including stoves, ovens, steam-jacketed kettles, tilt skillet, broiler, steam table, grill, deep fryer, slicer, Buffalo Chopper, mixer, food carts, dish racks, cleaning equipment and hazardous chemicals used in cleaning and sanitation. Office equipment such as computer, phone, fax machine, and retail service equipment such as point of sale registers, beverage and ice cream dispensers, chaffing dishes, serving utensils. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous supervisory experience and background in healthcare. Bilingual skills in English/Spanish are a plus. SERVSAFE certification.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
The Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse is responsible for assisting physicians with advanced tasks or equipment during surgical procedures which include cardiopulmonary bypass/heart-lung machine use, trans-esophageal echocardiogram studies, cardiac output assistive devices, and vascular access and interventions. The CVOR RN must have the ability to perform and interpret various cardiac and vascular lab tests.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe. Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members. Reviews diagnostics and laboratory data and reports abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers. Completes assessment and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
Formulates a plan of care, including the discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family and health team input. Initiates a plan of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data and the medical plan of care. Goals for patient are realistic, measurable and developed in conjunction with the patient/family. Considers the physical, cultural, psychosocial, spiritual, age specific and educational needs of the patient in the plan of are. Plans care in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team. Reviews and revises the plan of care to reflect changing patient needs based on evaluation of the patient's status.
Implements the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of the activities of the health care team. Provides care based on physician orders and the nursing plan of care, in compliance with policies and procedures, standards of care, and regulatory agency requirements. Delegates appropriately, and provides nursing supervision in the provision of care to patients by other licensed nurses and other personnel. Promotes continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for whom care is provided.
Evaluates the patient's and family's response to care and teaching, and revises the plan of care as needed. Evaluates patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes in collaboration with other health care team members. Evaluates patient's response and the effectiveness of patient teaching.
Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record. Documentation is legible, timely and in accordance with policy. Documentation reflects objective/subjective data, nursing interventions and patient's response to treatment. Notes physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
Minimum of one year RN experience in the operating room. New to service/new operating room nurses must complete the Perioperative Academy curriculum in addition to the Banner RN Perioperative Services Competency Tool within the first year.
Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations. Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting. Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area. Banner Registry and Travel physician practice positions require a minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse in a physician practice or an acute care setting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Central Sterile Processing is an ancillary department of the Operating rooms within a healthcare facility in which medical/surgical supplies and equipment, both sterile and non-sterile, are decontaminated, processed, sterilized, stored and used for patient care. All this takes place behind the scenes in a sterile lab type setting. The CSPD supervisor role is vital in successfully managing the workflow and productivity, it is essential to many of the operational aspects of the department such as ordering supplies, instrument maintenance/repair, department audits, and Periop CM's daily/weekly/monthly needs.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports leadership while performing as an integral part of OR team with additional job requirements and expanded supervision. Demonstrates accountability for operating room readiness ensuring sterile surgical instrumentation and disposable supplies are complete and ready for a procedure prior to the preceding patient leaving the operating room. Obtains vendor quotes for surgical instruments to meet both daily and new services working with surgeons to develop service line needs and inventory levels to meet demands. Able to address future expense needs for volume driven instrumentation increases to provide sufficient inventory supporting surgical procedure daily volume without delay.

Maintains a complete patient record with admission, transfer, and discharge information, progress notes, and consent forms. Ensures that all reports and chart forms are scanned or filed into the patient's record. Ensures that charting forms are labeled and accessible if they are needed. Maintains adequate supplies of frequently used, patient education materials. Assists in the ordering of patient specimens. May transcribe and process physician orders effectively using the electronic medical record.
Maintains adequate levels of office, dietary, and medical supplies and completes requisition forms when supplies need to be ordered. Reconciles supply order upon delivery. Monitors and tracks the use and whereabouts of electronic equipment such as patient ID scanners and lap top computers. Ensures that all are accounted for and in working order.

Provides assistance in activities of daily living and completes necessary tasks to promote patient health, including assisting patients with basic hygiene needs, maintaining an optimum level of mobility and providing assistance with nutritional intake as needed.
Collects patient specimens and data, including vital signs, input/output and other delegated measurements in accordance with unit/facility policy and standards of care. Documents objective data and routine aspects of patient care. Assists in the transportation of patient specimens.
Recognizes and reports abnormalities and/or changes in the patient's health status and responses to treatment to a licensed professional. Promotes continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for which care is provided.
Performs procedures and uses equipment as delegated by a licensed professional, consistent with demonstrated competencies and according to state scope of practice; procedures may include blood draws, foley catheters removal, EKGs, and EKG monitoring. Provides necessary supplies, support and assistance to medical staff and patients for unit specific procedures, under the direct supervision of a licensed professional.
Performs receptionist/clerical duties to support overall operating efficiency and effective flow of communication and information throughout the department. Participates in the resolution of customer problems or collects necessary data and follows through to appropriate person for problem resolution.
Maintains a complete patient record with admission, transfer, and discharge information, progress notes, and consent forms. Ensures that all reports and chart forms are scanned or filed into the patient's record. Ensures that charting forms are labeled and accessible if they are needed. Maintains adequate supplies of frequently used, patient education materials. Assists in the ordering of patient specimens. May transcribe and process physician orders effectively using the electronic medical record.
Maintains adequate levels of office, dietary, and medical supplies and completes requisition forms when supplies need to be ordered. Reconciles supply order upon delivery. Monitors and tracks the use and whereabouts of electronic equipment such as patient ID scanners and lap top computers. Ensures that all are accounted for and in working order.
Based on area of assignment may assist with transporting patients, including pre-operative and immediate post-operative patients to critical care unit. Participates in OR room turnover.
This position works under supervision and has responsibility for assigned unit only. Incumbents work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment with a strong focus on customer service. Interacts with staff at all levels throughout the facility, as well as patients, families and physicians
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Current BLS certification is required. Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice is required for new hires and transfers. In Tucson: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice is required for new hires. Existing Tucson incumbents may not transfer out of their geographical market without meeting the CNA requirement. POSITION SUMMARY
This position independently provides respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing to patients in a variety of health care settings.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Performs all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed by physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
Applies and manages mechanical ventilators in collaboration with physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners, recommending adjustments to improve clinical condition, patient comfort and to expedite the weaning process.
Assembles, disassembles, operates, maintains, troubleshoots, cleans and performs adjustments in the applications of durable medical equipment and circuitry used in the delivery of respiratory care as prescribed in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
Performs pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing as prescribed in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
Performs patient assessments and evaluates patient response to care provided, making recommendations to physicians regarding the plan of care, appropriate use of respiratory therapy and modification of therapy as clinical condition changes. Documents therapy provided in an accurate and complete manner in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
Communicates and collaborates with resource staff in formulating care plans, recommendations for change in therapy and identification/resolution of problems.
May supervise department staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate or technical degree.
Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). RRT required for all new hires to the position after October 1, 2015. Incumbents in the position as of October 1, 2015 must possess their RRT by October 1, 2017. A current license in state practiced as required by state law. In the state of Nevada, all incumbents must have their Blood Gas Technologist certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. In Home Care setting, must posses valid drivers license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy. As the Home Medical Equipment Technician, you will be assisting post-acute patients by teaching them about the safe and proper use of the medical equipment in their own home setting. You will enjoy an autonomous and outdoor work environment. You will be provided with a company cell phone and will be utilizing Banner trucks to deliver home medical equipment. This is a full -time position, Work Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 12:00pm to 8:30pm and Saturday 10am to 630pm. POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides service to Home Care patients through delivery, assembly, and instruction on safe use, follow-up visits, and on-call trouble shooting of home medical equipment. Completes daily logging, documentation, and follow-up on medical equipment and patients following all company policies and regulatory requirements. Participates in cleaning, testing, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of medical equipment following manufacture guidelines and company policy.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Loads, delivers, sets up and provides operational instructions, education and troubleshooting material with patient/caregiver on use of home medical equipment including but not limited to Oxygen, Pediatric oxygen, NPWT, Enteral, and bedroom/bathroom medical equipment and associated supplies, in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements. May also assist with internal and external loan closet replenishment.
Completes required documentation associated with equipment pick-ups and equipment delivery, set up, instruction and education of products in accordance with company policy, state and federal regulatory requirements.
Responds to emergency delivery calls on a regular basis and participates in the on call troubleshooting and delivery rotation.
Clean and disinfect medical equipment. Inspects tests and performs equipment preventive maintenance to ensure proper operating condition according to manufacturer's guidelines and company policy.
Completes annual competencies of all products to ensure knowledge of current standards.
Helps to ensures delivery vehicle is in proper working condition by use of daily vehicle inspection. Maintains accurate daily vehicle inspection, inventory and route logs.
May have responsibility for operation and maintenance of the oxygen cylinder transfill station and warehouse functions.
Works independently on-site with patients and family members. Prioritizes work to balance patient satisfaction and company resources. Internal customers include staff, physicians and patients. External customers include vendors, physician office staff and family members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy. In some locations, CDL with appropriate Hazardous Materials certification may be required.
One year of experience in hospital, home care, HME, transportation or other healthcare related setting. Must demonstrate excellent face-to-face customer service.
