Banner Home Medical Equipment is one of the top providers in Maricopa County and Pima County market in Arizona, and Weld/Larimer counties in Northern Colorado. We provide respiratory, sleep, ventilation, and other high-acuity respiratory services. As the Home Medical Equipment Technician, you will be assisting post-acute patients by teaching them about the safe and proper use of the medical equipment in their own home setting. You will enjoy an autonomous and outdoor work environment. You will be provided with a company cell phone and will be utilizing Banner trucks to deliver home medical equipment. This is a full -time position, Work Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 12:00pm to 8:30pm and Saturday 10am to 630pm. Must have a clean driving record to be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides service to Home Care patients through delivery, assembly, and instruction on safe use, follow-up visits, and on-call trouble shooting of home medical equipment. Completes daily logging, documentation, and follow-up on medical equipment and patients following all company policies and regulatory requirements. Participates in cleaning, testing, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of medical equipment following manufacture guidelines and company policy.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Loads, delivers, sets up and provides operational instructions, education and troubleshooting material with patient/caregiver on use of home medical equipment including but not limited to Oxygen, Pediatric oxygen, NPWT, Enteral, and bedroom/bathroom medical equipment and associated supplies, in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements. May also assist with internal and external loan closet replenishment.
Completes required documentation associated with equipment pick-ups and equipment delivery, set up, instruction and education of products in accordance with company policy, state and federal regulatory requirements.
Responds to emergency delivery calls on a regular basis and participates in the on call troubleshooting and delivery rotation.
Clean and disinfect medical equipment. Inspects tests and performs equipment preventive maintenance to ensure proper operating condition according to manufacturer's guidelines and company policy.
Completes annual competencies of all products to ensure knowledge of current standards.
Helps to ensures delivery vehicle is in proper working condition by use of daily vehicle inspection. Maintains accurate daily vehicle inspection, inventory and route logs.
May have responsibility for operation and maintenance of the oxygen cylinder transfill station and warehouse functions.
Works independently on-site with patients and family members. Prioritizes work to balance patient satisfaction and company resources. Internal customers include staff, physicians and patients. External customers include vendors, physician office staff and family members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy. In some locations, CDL with appropriate Hazardous Materials certification may be required.
One year of experience in hospital, home care, HME, transportation or other healthcare related setting. Must demonstrate excellent face-to-face customer service. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position. Employees working for Banner Home Care/Hospice must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment.
Ability to keep detailed records regarding equipment and medical records. Ability to communicate effectively. Able to prioritize and organize daily work according to patient needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in equipment maintenance and repair and knowledge of local delivery area is preferred.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe. Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members. Reviews diagnostics and laboratory data and reports abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers. Completes assessment and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
Formulates a plan of care, including the discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family and health team input. Initiates a plan of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data and the medical plan of care. Goals for patient are realistic, measurable and developed in conjunction with the patient/family. Considers the physical, cultural, psychosocial, spiritual, age specific and educational needs of the patient in the plan of are. Plans care in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team. Reviews and revises the plan of care to reflect changing patient needs based on evaluation of the patient's status.
Implements the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of the activities of the health care team. Provides care based on physician orders and the nursing plan of care, in compliance with policies and procedures, standards of care, and regulatory agency requirements. Delegates appropriately, and provides nursing supervision in the provision of care to patients by other licensed nurses and other personnel. Promotes continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for whom care is provided.

9.Interacts with all levels of staff in a variety of departments, physicians, patients, families and external contacts, such as employees of other health care institutions, community providers and agencies, concerning the health care of the patient. Interacts with other health care providers in numerous settings in order to report and ask for or clarify information. Also works with clergy to provide spiritual support. Synthesizes and prioritizes data from multiple sources to provide support for the human response of the patient and family to changes in health status.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training and education needed to perform the job. Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired. Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations. Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting. Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area. Banner Registry and Travel physician practice positions require a minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse in a physician practice or an acute care setting.
In a Home Health setting, team members must be able to operate personal vehicle and possess a valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage is also required to be active and maintained.
Employees working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, BTMC Behavioral, Banner Home Care/Hospice or Boswell Skilled Nursing Facility must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment. Employees working at Banner MD Anderson on the Banner University Medical Center Phoenix campus must possess a State of Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment. POSITION SUMMARY
This position independently provides respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing to patients in a variety of health care settings.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Performs all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed by physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
Applies and manages mechanical ventilators in collaboration with physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners, recommending adjustments to improve clinical condition, patient comfort and to expedite the weaning process.

Documents therapy provided in an accurate and complete manner in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
Communicates and collaborates with resource staff in formulating care plans, recommendations for change in therapy and identification/resolution of problems.
May supervise department staff.
Independently provides respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing to patients in a variety of health care settings. May be assigned to a variety of areas throughout the system where respiratory care is needed. Internal customers: All levels of nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: Physicians and their office staff, payers, community agencies and regulatory agencies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate or technical degree.
Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). RRT required for all new hires to the position after October 1, 2015. Incumbents in the position as of October 1, 2015 must possess their RRT by October 1, 2017. A current license in state practiced as required by state law. In the state of Nevada, all incumbents must have their Blood Gas Technologist certification. Basic Life Support (BCLS) required. Wyoming Medical Center Tactical Officers are specialized security officers with advanced training in de-escalation techniques, advanced non-lethal defensive systems, defensive tactics, and critical thinking skills. Tactical officers primarily serve in the Emergency Department and will operate as the first responder to the most violent and dangerous situations that occur in the facility and throughout the campus. Tactical Officers also serve as a visual deterrent to crime and violence and will act as the liaison with law enforcement responders during critical incidents. This role requires 3 years of experience in law enforcement or the military, or 7 years hospital security experience.
If you are interested, you must be available for the upcoming PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT (time TBD). Successful candidates will be physically fit and able to maintain sufficient physical fitness to successfully pass the Cooper Institute Physical Fitness Assessment Test (1.5 mile run, push-ups, sit-ups, vertical jump, and 300 meter run) before selection to the Tactical Officer Certification Course and on a bi-annual basis to retain employment in the Tactical Operations Unit (TOU).
Typical work schedules are three 12-hour shifts and a 4-hour shift.
Shift A & C: Sun-Wed - Day 6am-6pm, & Sun- Wed Nights 6pm to 6pm
Shift B & D: Wed-Sat Days 6am-6pm, & Wed-Sat - Nights 6pm to 6pm.
Shift assignment will be based on the need of the unit and organization and will not be determined until completion of the field training program.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be assigned primarily to the Emergency Department and will serve as the first responder to the most violent and dangerous security incidents occurring throughout the facility and the campus. When the incident involves anyone other than a patient, the Tactical Officer will be responsible for directing the security response the violent incidents. The tactical officer will be the primary liaison with law enforcement during critical incidences. This position will assist with patrol functions across the campus; the welfare and safety of personnel and patients; investigations of critical incidents; provide security assistance to employees, patients and visitors and secures doors as needed.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Apprehends suspects in cases of conflict, escalation or unauthorized entry into buildings and work areas, malicious mischief, or other violations. Conducts investigations and prepares investigative reports.
Serves as the primary point of contact with law enforcement during critical incidents.
Monitors and assesses situations and determining appropriate response. Utilizes critical thinking skills in emergency and stressful situations.
Patrols facility buildings and grounds watching for unauthorized persons, fires and unusual occurrences; and reports emergencies immediately upon discovery.
Utilizes verbal de-escalation techniques and advance workplace violence mitigation skills and tactical skills in security, emergency and conflict situations.
Investigates and completes written reports of complaints, critical security incidents and unusual activities involving patients, employees and visitors; submits all reports to the security leadership by the end of the shift in which the report occurs. Maintains an accurate log of all relevant security activities during each shift.
Escorts patients, visitors and employees as needed. Assists medical staff in restraining and handling disturbed patients.
Enforces security rules and regulations, to patrol grounds by foot or in a vehicle, to react quickly and calmly in emergency situations, to communicate effectively, and to prepare a concise incident reports. Follows instructions and follows safe work practices. Acts as a point of contact for other officers as needed.
Position reports directly to the Security Director. This position interacts internally with staff, physicians, visitors, volunteers and patients. External customers are law enforcement agencies and emergency service agencies. The position is system wide and officers may be assigned to work at any facility as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
Must possess strong knowledge and understanding of security as normally obtained by a minimum of three years of law enforcement or military experience or seven years of hospital security experience. Requires successful completion of Banner Health's Tactical Officer certification training upon hire. Requires ability to demonstrate and successfully use all required competencies annually. Must possess interpersonal skills and be customer service oriented in all contacts with patients, visitors and staff. Requires advanced critical thinking, monitoring skills and ability to quickly assess situations and determine appropriate response in escalated conflict, security and emergency situations. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform physical requirements of the position. Capabilities will be demonstrated through the successful completion of similarly related skills testing. Employees hired on or after January 1, 2019 will need to successfully demonstrate the physical requirements before starting in the role. Must be able to page codes, notify emergency personnel, process calls and associated functions via phone and hand held microphones using downtime procedures including hard copy code procedures, directories, personnel lists and on call schedules.
Accurately and efficiently processes a high volume of incoming, outgoing and interdepartmental calls providing information to callers and responding to caller requests in a professional, confidential and courteous manner. Follows written and computer based procedures to ensure that calls are processed according to individual facility guidelines.
Uses the integrated computer/telephone (CTI) workstation to access information for a designated group of facilities, processing calls for patients, facilities, staff, departments, physicians and the community at large. Locates database information quickly and process calls accurately utilizing computer based directories, web based and database on-call schedules, physician/staff rosters, patient databases, organization's intranet, and other available resources.
Functions as an answering service for numerous on-call groups/physicians for several facilities by documenting required information from patients, staff and physicians. Contacts designated on-call personnel and relays accurate, time critical information prior to connecting them to the caller in a prompt manner as set forth by each on-call group/physician. Follows detailed instructions established by each group/physician and shows initiative and problem solving skills when having difficulty reaching active on-call staff. Maintains accurate on-call documentation on appropriate log sheet as set forth by each group/physician.
Proactively and continuously identifies opportunities to improve processes and enhance database information. Presents findings and recommendations to management.

Banner Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant in our Observation unit at Boswell Medical Center. The Observation service line is a fast-paced, 24-bed unit on 2N. As a Patient Care Assistant in our Telemetry unit focused on Observation status patients, you will be a part of a fast paced environment with a wide variety of patient illnesses. This area features a fast pace similar to the ED with the diagnostic work ups and care needs of the Telemetry setting. The wide variety develops a strong clinical foundation and knowledge as you work closely with physicians, case management and experienced nurses.

Banner Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant PCU. This position is in our Progressive Care Unit on th 3rd floor which is a 24 bed telemetry unit primarily dedicated to providing care to patients living with Congestive Heart Failure. Ratios are typically 1:4-5. Unit is also an overflow tele.
Day and Night shifts available. Day shift is 6am-6:30pm, and Nights are 6pm-6:30am.

POSITION SUMMARY

Support the coding function, acting as a liaison between HIMS operations, coding, registration, physicians, and other facility or system departments as applicable to facilitate the record completion, coding, and billing process.
Provide customer service and assistance related to HIMS departmental functions to patients, vendors, physicians, ancillary staff, and other departments in person, over the telephone, through email, or by other means.
Perform a variety of other support functions including assistance with transcription issues and requests, providing training for Dragon/voice recognition applications, assisting patients with completion of portal enrollment, performing merges and combines in the Electronic Medical Record, answer ringing telephones, and other duties as assigned by HIMS leadership. As applicable to the facility, may work with state recording agencies, such as reporting all facility births to the state vital health records department and meeting the state reporting guidelines for such.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires the knowledge of health information practices and principles as normally demonstrated through completion of one or more years of post-high school education in medical records and in information systems.
Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of health information management practices and principles and have a working knowledge of medical terminology as normally acquired over three or more years of related work experience in medical records. Experience coordinating work functions of groups of individuals is preferred. Must be able to exercise independent judgment, prioritize work have good problem solving skills. POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. Implements the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of the activities of the health care team. Provides care based on physician orders and the nursing plan of care, in compliance with policies and procedures, standards of care, and regulatory agency requirements. Delegates appropriately, and provides nursing supervision in the provision of care to patients by other licensed nurses and other personnel. Promotes continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for whom care is provided.
Evaluates the patient's and family's response to care and teaching, and revises the plan of care as needed. Evaluates patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes in collaboration with other health care team members. Evaluates patient's response and the effectiveness of patient teaching.
Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record. Documentation is legible, timely and in accordance with policy. Documentation reflects objective/subjective data, nursing interventions and patient's response to treatment. Notes physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Provides care based on the best evidence available and may participate in research activities within clinical practice. Participates in unit or facility shared leadership. Interacts and participates in the education, role development, and orientation of facility personnel, patients, students, families and visitors. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

POSITION SUMMARY

Assists with project management of departmental improvements. Coordinates with other departments on Grievance & Appeals projects/workgroups.
Assists the Marketing Department with the production of all member letters and notices. Participates actively in meetings, workgroups and committees relevant to the Grievance & Appeals process. May produces, prepare, quality check or deliver all reporting requirements in the absence of the Grievance & Appeals Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the evaluation, planning, administration and supervision of Physical Therapy treatment in accordance with physician referral, state and national organizational standards, regulatory agencies, and established departmental policies and procedures. This position demonstrates the clinical competence and knowledge necessary to provide treatment appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Initiates discharge planning. Recommends additions to or modifications of referring orders.
Implements individualized treatment plan with consideration to the patient's physical, social, spiritual, cultural, educational and age specific needs. Provides skilled treatment in a safe manner. Assesses ongoing effectiveness of treatment and modifies plan of care as indicated. Involves patient and family/caregiver in the treatment and decision making process. Provides ongoing education to physician, nurse, patient, family/caregiver, and interdisciplinary team.
Documents according to professional practice guidelines set by regulatory agencies. Documents legibly. Completes documentation within the established time frames of the department. Documents evidence based and individualized treatment techniques/plan. Documentation reflects skilled intervention and comprehensive assessment of the patient's progress or lack of progress. Treatment goals are reassessed according to department policies.
Communicates pertinent patient information to ensure the best possible follow through of care. Communicates evaluation/treatment results and patient progress to physicians, nurses, patient, family/caregiver, and interdisciplinary team. Communicates in a clear and timely manner. Accepts responsibility to contact physicians for routine or difficult problem solving to ensure optimal patient outcome. Defends treatment rationale with standard practices and/or current literature.
Exhibits adaptability in assignments as it relates to caseload, scheduling, and staffing shifts. Takes initiative to assist in other patient care areas and accepts responsibility for all patient care needs.
Demonstrates appropriate supervision and delegation of personnel to achieve safe delivery of quality cost effective patient care. Supervision and delegation of the PTA, ATC, Therapy Technician and student complies with department policies and regulatory agencies. Participates in the training and orientation of new personnel. Assures competency of personnel, prior to delegation of task.
Department operational activities. Attends department required meetings and/or follows up to obtain pertinent information. Participates in departmental/facility process improvement. Meets productivity standards set by the department.
This position has responsibility for interacting with all levels of staff in a variety of departments, physicians, patients, families, and external contacts such as employees of other health care institutions, community provides and agencies concerning the health care of the patient. Also interacts with the physician offices in order to report, request or clarify information.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have graduated from an APTA accredited school of Physical Therapy, or equivalent.
Must possess a current Physical Therapy license within the State of practice. BLS certification required.

Banner is looking for a full-time RN Patient Education Specialist to work with the Oncology team at Banner McKee Medical Center. In this position you will be coordinating patients for multi-disciplinary clinics for breast cancer care as well as assisting other patients through their cancer care journey in other diagnosis types such as GYN, GU/Prostrate, Head/Neck (including thyroid) and melanoma. In addition, this position collaborates with other navigators, providers, clinical teams, scheduling teams, outside organizations and requires excellent communication and technology skills. The position is 40-hours per week and can be four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assists with the management and coordination of patients receiving diagnostic and treatment services and/or developmental achievement and serves as a clinical practitioner, educator, services coordinator, consultant and change agent. Develops and implements change to support a holistic and coordinated approach to care strategy through screening, diagnostics, identifying risk factors and ensuring a smooth flow of patient information and care.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care. This position is responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation in the medical records and provides a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department.

Performs receptionist/clerical duties to support overall operating efficiency and effective flow of communication and information throughout the department. Participates in the resolution of customer problems or collects necessary data and follows through to appropriate person for problem resolution.
Maintains a complete patient record with admission, transfer, and discharge information, progress notes, and consent forms. Ensures that all reports and chart forms are scanned or filed into the patient's record. Ensures that charting forms are labeled and accessible if they are needed. Maintains adequate supplies of frequently used, patient education materials. Assists in the ordering of patient specimens. May transcribe and process physician orders effectively using the electronic medical record.
Maintains adequate levels of office, dietary, and medical supplies and completes requisition forms when supplies need to be ordered. Reconciles supply order upon delivery. Monitors and tracks the use and whereabouts of electronic equipment such as patient ID scanners and lap top computers. Ensures that all are accounted for and in working order.
Based on area of assignment may assist with transporting patients, including pre-operative and immediate post-operative patients to critical care unit. Participates in OR room turnover.

Maintains adequate levels of office, dietary, and medical supplies and completes requisition forms when supplies need to be ordered. Reconciles supply order upon delivery. Based on area of assignment may assist with transporting patients, including pre-operative and immediate post-operative patients to critical care unit. Participates in OR room turnover.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position selects and places surgical instruments, supplies and equipment during surgery. Scrubs and provides instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies during surgical procedure. Participants in the training and orientation of surgical technology staff and students, as assigned. Is proficient to scrub on a minimum of two surgical specialties.
The Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting the physician with advanced tasks during surgical procedures which include cardiopulmonary bypass/heart-lung machine use, cardiac assistive devices, and vascular access and interventions. The CVOR ST must be able to work under high pressure in a fast paced environment.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Prepares for surgical procedures. Pulls appropriate instruments and supplies and ensures good working order of instruments. Reviews case carts for correct instruments and supplies. Troubleshoots malfunctioning equipment and makes minor adjustments or calls biomedical equipment staff. Checks schedule and plans ahead for upcoming surgical case needs.
Anticipates the surgeon's needs. Passes instruments and retracts tissue. Maintains competency to scrub in a minimum of two surgical specialties.
Demonstrates the principles of aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout the procedure. Disposes of sharps and trash and places used supplies into case cart for processing. Participates in counting sharps, instruments and sponges. Prepares instruments for cleaning following each case.
Ensures that all surgeon preference cards and pick lists are accurate.
Assists with OR turnover between cases. Participates in stocking, replenishing supplies and cleaning operating rooms.
Participates in or leads the training and orientation of surgical technology staff and students, as assigned.
May provide business support to the department including administrative tasks.
This position follows safety procedures in regard to medication labeling, appropriate handling of specimens, appropriate handling of sharps, time-out procedure, radiation and laser safety, infection control, assembling and disassembling instruments. Participates in emergency call rotation. Is proficient to scrub on at least two surgical specialties. Internal customers are patients, surgeons, and nursing staff. External customers may include practicing physicians, patient families and vendors or sales reps.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED and current basic life support certification.
Requires certification as a surgical technologist and one to two years of experience in a surgical technologist role OR three to four years in a surgical technologist role. Where applicable must be registered with State Regulatory Agency.
This position must be able to scrub proficiently on a minimum of two surgical specialties. The position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain professional decorum in highly stressful emergent situations. The position requires the ability to be conscientious, organized, and orderly and the ability to respond quickly to the needs of the surgeon and patient. Must stay abreast of new developments in the field.
