This is a unique opportunity to help create and expand a Leadership Development Team and program. In this role you will be developing and implementing Learning and Development programs based on the needs of the organization.

As a Temporary Leadership Development Specialist (through end of 2025) , you will deliver face to face training sessions with dynamic facilitation techniques, fostering interactive discussions and active participation while integrating content seamlessly. You will also deliver virtual led sessions occasionally. Facilitates instructor-led workshops, micro-learnings, and/or other types of virtual sessions on a variety of topics as needed. In this role, you will use a diverse range of training methodologies, techniques, and concepts to deliver impactful training programs that cater to different learning preferences. Employs a variety of learning tools and materials, including Learner Guides and Facilitator Guides, to enhance program effectiveness and participant engagement. We are looking for someone who has experience as a people leader so is able to share personal learnings and experiences throughout the training. A strong preference for in-person leadership development facilitation experience, at a minimum facilitation experience and exposure to leading training with leaders.

This will be a Monday through Friday, remote-hybrid role, supporting the BLI: My Core Leadership workshop for Banner established leaders. There is travel throughout the Greater Phoenix area in order to support workshops across our facilities and potentially travel to facilities outside of Phoenix 2-3 times (Colorado, Wyoming and Tucson). Trainings begin at 8am on site, need be able to arrive prior to participants (7:30ish).

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will implement an educational curriculum program consistent with Banner Leadership Development goals and objectives, in partnership with business, industry, and Banner stakeholders. This position will deliver and enhance training programs that drive organizational growth and employee development. This multifaceted role requires the use of various training methodologies and techniques, along with adept leadership skills, to create a psychologically safe learning environment that maximizes the effectiveness of training programs.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Facilitates instructor-led in-person workshops, micro-learnings, and/or other types of virtual sessions leveraging dynamic facilitation techniques, fostering interactive discussion, and active participation while integrating content seamlessly on a variety of topics as needed.

2. Adapts facilitation approaches to address audience dynamics, ensuring participants connect with translated content effectively. Implements classroom management to maintain organization, participant safety, and productive learning environment. Builds rapport with training participants and interacts with team members at various position levels.

3. Creates a psychologically safe learning environment, fostering open communication and promoting active participation among participants.

4. Builds effective relationships across departments and creates an environment of accountability and excellence in coordination, training, and development.

5. Participates as a member of an instructional team and prepares curriculum and instruction for educational programs to promote learning activities consistent with the program and Banner's culture.

6. Evaluates effectiveness of learning strategies and outcomes of educational activities and makes necessary provisions to meet learning needs. Designs assessments that gauge the application of translated content in real-world scenarios, measuring participant readiness for practical implementation. Assists with QA monitoring and feedback.

7. Maintains program documentation, including participant attendance, engagement, expenses and contact logs. Submits reports as requested.

8. Develops facilitator best practices to support the training of facilitators, ensuring they understand the training environment, content, successes, and opportunities for development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a strong knowledge and understanding of training, development and facilitation as normally demonstrated through the completion of a bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resource development, business administration or related field and three years of experience in learning facilitation.

Must demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in support of team member development and growth. Must have attention to detail with coordination of training, equipment, materials and resources necessary to conduct training sessions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Thorough knowledge and application of adult learning principles and leadership development models, and the ability to implement these principles into a training curriculum. Master Trainer or similar certificate. Experience in customer service training, coaching and/or mentoring.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position conducts and coordinates purchasing, ordering, inventory and other supply activities to provide for the timely acquisition of all materials and/or equipment and/or services for the medical center (or assigned departments) in accordance with purchasing policies, procedures, and contracts.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Conducts and coordinates the activities and processes of procurement, receipt, distribution, and charging of medical supplies and other materials for assigned area: Cath Lab, Central Supply, Capital Equipment, or multiple hospital departments.

2. Regularly takes and accounts for inventory of all goods in assigned areas. Monitors usages, shelf life, stock rotation. Conducts needs analysis and determines optimal inventory levels of each item. Tracks and maintains assigned equipment.

3. For assigned surgical or special usage areas, assesses upcoming schedules for procedures, physician preference cards and other sources of future needs forecast information. Orders special items and coordinates the receipt, storage and delivery of such items.

4. Uses a materials management information system for ordering, tracking, charging, and usage reporting. Updates MMIS system files and ensures compliance with policies.

5. Conducts Quality Management work as assigned.

6. Works independently under general supervision. Follows and creates work procedures. Analyzes needs and determines own work routines to meet needs. Solves routine or daily supply chain problems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requires business, math and communications skills, knowledge and abilities as normally evidenced by an associates in business or procurement, or equivalent experience and training.

Requires the knowledge normally acquired over two or more years experience in Materials Management and/or the medical field, with a broad understanding of medical supplies, medical supply handling, and inventory management. Requires effective verbal and written communication skills, leadership and human relations skills, and excellent customer service skills. Employees working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital or Boswell Skilled Nursing Facility must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment.

1. Performs a variety of assigned cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming and polishing according to departmental policy and procedures. Must plan the completion of these tasks daily.

2. Empties hampers and transports of soiled linen. Empties trash containers and removes all trash. Empties all medical waste containers, including sharps.

4. Maintains cleanliness of departmental equipment and notifies appropriate personnel as repairs become necessary. Protects equipment from damage by proper use; properly logs out and in equipment that has been used.

6. Responds to questions and requests from patients, staff and visitors. Meets or exceeds goals for customer service satisfaction.

7. Under regular supervision, this position has responsibility at an assigned facility/area only. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting clinicians and nursing staff in providing medical care, as well as, implementing and evaluating direct patient care. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment and skills to provide an excellent patient experience.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Prepares patient for exam and treatment by taking and recording vital signs, symptoms and other necessary measurements and recording chief complaint; documents pain scores as appropriate. Reports condition of patient which may be indicative of change in the patient's condition to the clinician.

2. Assists providers with exams and minor in-office procedures which could include taking patients' blood pressure, documenting respiration and heart rate/pulse, taking temperature, as well as performing phlebotomies, ear irrigation and EKG's. Acts as chaperon as needed. Uses universal blood and body fluid precautions at all times and personal protective equipment as needed. Responsible for prioritization of patient flow through clinical process.

3. Coordinates and manages patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions and scheduling of patients for clinic, hospital and other ancillary medical treatments and tests. Responsible for communicating test results to patient. Acts as a resource to clinician in order to provide optimal patient care. May administer medications in accordance with established policies and procedures or as directed.

4. Provides clerical support with patient/client notifications and documentation to include but not limited to complete medical records including labs, authorizations, X-Rays, hospital records and any previous care pertaining to each patient visit. Provides complete and accurate information necessary for billing related to the patient encounter in a timely fashion.

5. Maintains a clean, functional environment including cleaning and disinfection of equipment, exam rooms and storage areas. Disinfects equipment and instruments using appropriate solutions following sterilization procedures. Follows manufacturer's recommendations and OSHA guidelines in handling of hazardous substances. Performs basic maintenance of equipment and coordinates needed maintenance for prompt repairs.

6. Orders supplies as directed, stocks patient care areas. Medication ordering and tasks related to all medications (e.g. expired medications/equipment and recalls).

7. Develops and maintains effective communication mechanism with all external and internal customers. Exemplifies service orientation and the team concept in all contacts.

8. This position will complete all necessary on-boarding/orientation activities, including simulation training, as needed or directed.

9. This position works under the direct supervision of the providers. This position interacts with all levels of staff in a variety of departments, physicians, patients, families and external contacts, such as employees of other health care institutions, community providers and agencies, concerning the health care of the patient. Also interacts with physician's offices in order to report, ask for or clarify information. Prioritizes data from multiple sources to provide support for the response of the patient and family to changes in health status.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge. Completion of an approved medical assistant training program as defined by state regulations.

Active Medical Assistant Certification is required. Certification or additional training must meet the requirements for Meaningful use. BLS certification required. Active Medical Assistant certification such as: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with proof of current membership from American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with proof of current membership from American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) with proof of current membership from National Health Career Association (NHA) (Test administered after 7/1/2017 only) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) with proof of current membership from National Certified Competency Testing (NCCT).

Requires strong computer skills, including the ability to work with medical software. Requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Requires the ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion.

Our Supply Chain team is looking for a Clinical Procedure Supply Coordinator. This position plays a very critical role and is responsible for managing all supply levels for our UNIT at our FACILITY campus and works with the physicians to provide timely acquisition of all materials and/or equipment and/or services for upcoming procedures. Supply Chain Services is a support services department that provides Inventory Management, Distribution, Centralized Equipment Management, Shipping & Receiving, Mail, Vendor Management, Purchasing Support, and Supply Expense Analytics services to the facility.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for ordering, inventory and other supply activities to provide timely acquisition of all materials and/or equipment (non-Capital) and/or services for Clinical Procedure area or areas as assigned in accordance with the purchasing policies, procedures and contracts. It is also a requirement to maintain appropriate inventory levels of routine and specialty supplies for the Clinical Procedural department(s).

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Conducts and coordinates the activities and processes of procurement, receipt, distribution, stocking and inventory management of medical supplies and other materials for the assigned Clinical Procedure area. This will also include Recall management and product returns. Interacts with the Finance department to monitor compliance with point of use technology systems.

2. Receives requests for special order supplies and procures them for the correct patient, procedure, date, and time. Coordinates with the Clinical department to arrange any special delivery needs from a vendor or other department or facility, if necessary. Verifies that the supply request is within the boundaries of Supply Chain Contract Compliance. Arranges evaluations of new products, including contacting vendor representatives and arranging demonstrations. Participates in contract and procurement process.

3. Regularly takes and accounts for inventory of all supplies in the assigned areas. Uses independent thinking to decide the appropriate inventory levels and monitors usage, shelf life and rotates stock to avoid product expiration in conjunction with inventory associates. Conducts routine needs analysis and determines the optimal inventory levels for each item. Tracks and maintains all Consignment items.

4. Daily assesses upcoming schedules for procedures and other sources for future supply needs. Orders specialty items and coordinates the receipt, storage and delivery of these items. Is available after normal business hours to answer questions from the Clinical department to assist with sourcing needed supplies.

5. Promotes and monitors cost containment and encourages conversion to System standardization of products and equipment. Works with vendors, gets quotes and makes recommendations for purchases. Attends system product evaluation meetings to relate the needs of the departments regarding product comparison substitution and availability. POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for scheduling surgical, cardiovascular or obstetrical procedures using a computerized scheduling system. The position is also responsible for entering patient charges, orders, and other pertinent information into the system and compiling and reporting statistical information to management. The incumbent may act as an office liaison for department staff, physicians, and patient families.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Coordinates case times for elective, urgent or emergent surgeries, cardiovascular or obstetrical procedures in a computerized scheduling system. Verifies and reviews physician privilege status prior to scheduling. Interfaces with medical staff office to maintain log of current privilege status and maintains confidentially of all information. May acquire and maintain physician preference information and staff roster.

3. Types and prints physician orders for multiple physicians and departments. Schedules and maintains physician block time, and block time releases.

4. Enters physician's orders for lab, blood bank, medical imaging, and cardiology. Enters results of diagnostic tests, patient registration information and patient charges. Compiles data and prepares statistical reports for management.

5. Conducts charge management audits for assigned area. Reconciles charge packet information with the audit. Identifies missed or incorrect charges and corrects when appropriate.

6. Acts as a receptionist to assigned unit; answers phones, relays message. Greets and directs patients, visitors, physicians, and families and answers questions about policies and procedures. This position prioritizes clinical improvement activities, oversees the facilitation of performance improvement teams and successful implementation to achieve entity/system targets. The position works closely with both system and operating entities to improve quality and outcomes of clinical care. This role requires strong communication, collaboration, teamwork and change management skills in order to achieve desired results across the continuum of care. This position identifies and collaborates with senior leadership to prioritize appropriate resources related to opportunities in Peer Review investigations and other operational/clinical priorities to align performance improvement opportunities with system and local teams.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Quality Leadership and Integration - Lead the integration of quality into the fabric of the organization to achieve objectives such as Annual Initiatives, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission (JC) standards of care. Performance and Process Improvement -Serves as a subject matter expert in performance and process improvement, project management and change management methods to support operational and clinical quality initiatives. Manages, coaches, and oversees facilitation of improvement activities related to or resulting from patient safety, harm reduction, clinical performance opportunities, peer review and compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies. Serves as a resource and/or facilitates improvement teams to plan, implement, and coordinate entity activities to maximize clinical and operational outcomes. Oversees and leads improvement teams, guiding teams on system defined improvement methodologies and processes.

3. Population Health and Care Transitions - Directs evaluation and improvement of healthcare processes and care transitions to advance the efficient, effective and safe care of defined populations. Directs the implementation of Clinical Practices and standardized processes, that are evidence-based Population Health management strategies, encourages and contributes to a holistic approach to improvement, collaborates to improve care processes, as well as, transitions back to the community. Leads monitoring and reporting of facility Clinical Practice performance. Uses data to identify populations at risk and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop strategies to improve outcomes. Supports and participates in Clinical Consensus Groups at a system level to develop metrics for evidenced based practices for the enterprise.

4. Health Data Analytics - Leverages the organizations' analytic environment to guide data driven decision making and inform quality improvement initiatives while overseeing and guiding quality improvement initiatives and activities. Oversees the collaboration with appropriate process owner(s). Ensures the acquisition and integration of data from internal and external benchmarking sources. Uses statistical and visualization methods to analyze data for administrative and clinical decision making. Provides oversight of on-going assessment of performance, analyzes clinical outcome data, and identifies performance improvement opportunities or trends. This role requires the ability to conduct and educate detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis.

5. Patient Safety - Cultivates a safe healthcare environment by promoting safe practices, nurturing a Just Culture and improving processes that detect, mitigate or prevent harm. Serves as an advocate for safety culture, ensuring the application of safety science principles/methods, identification and reporting of patient safety risks/events. Oversees collaboration to analyze patient safety risks and events. Facilitates teams to improve processes that impact the safety of patients and team members. Leverages results from patient safety investigations to coach entity leaders on safety improvement activities.

6. Regulatory and Accreditation - Directs the evaluation monitoring and improving compliance with internal and external requirements. Oversees processes to prepare for, participate in, and follow up with Regulatory Agencies and certifications. Directs processes to support compliance with PI standards, ensures continuous survey readiness activities and oversees PI survey processes and findings. This position collaborates and leverages results from regulatory opportunities.

7. Quality Review and Accountability - Oversees and serves as a subject matter expert in compliance with voluntary, mandatory and contractual reporting requirements for data acquisition, analysis, reporting and process improvement. Oversees current and emerging payment models as they relate to quality performance outcomes. Develops and communicates measurement requirements. Supports practitioner and nursing peer review activities.

8. Professional Engagement - Engages in the healthcare quality profession with a commitment to practicing ethically, enhancing one's competencies and advancing the field by integrating ethical standards into practice, engaging in lifelong learning and participating in activities that advance the profession, such as participation in professional organizations and achievement of certification in healthcare quality.

9. Responsibilities cross all levels of internal customers including the department, facility and system, and external customers including but not limited to the medical staff, the community, regulatory bodies and state agencies. Oversees and manages the department budget and productivity. Responsible for QI at a single entity or multiple entities and contribute to system level QI activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requires a Bachelor's in nursing or other healthcare related field (i.e.: Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, etc.) and applicable master's degree.

If in a profession that requires licensure, current licensure/certification/registration is required for state worked.

Requires a proficiency level typically attained with five years acute care clinical experience. Requires at least two years management experience or demonstrated leadership abilities through

successful large-scale projects. Requires ability to perform complex statistical analysis and highly developed problem-solving skills. Requires the ability to manage programs and projects. Requires demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and written communication skills.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

Delegates appropriately, and provides nursing supervision in the provision of care to patients by other licensed nurses and other personnel. Common preparative regimens and high-dosage therapy administration, management of fevers, prophylactic antibiotics, antiviral and antifungal prophylaxis. GVHD prophylactic and /or treatment regimens, and administration guidelines for medication and blood components. Administration of Cellular Therapy products. Care interventions to manage cellular therapy complications, including, but not limited to: Cytokine release syndrome, tumor lysis syndrome, cardiac dysfunction, respiratory distress, neurologic toxicity, renal and hepatic failure and disseminated intravascular coagulation.

9. Interacts with all levels of staff in a variety of departments, physicians, patients, families and external contacts, such as employees of other health care institutions, community providers and agencies, concerning the health care of the patient. Interacts with other health care providers in numerous settings in order to report and ask for or clarify information. Also works with clergy to provide spiritual support. POSITION SUMMARY

Coordinates the preventative maintenance program of all utility and infrastructure systems, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, medical gas systems, water treatment programs, water distribution systems, building management systems, emergency generators and all associated components in order to ensure the integrity and reliability of the utility distribution systems. Monitors and modifies the infrastructure and utility preventive maintenance program to assure maximum effectiveness; provides all required and appropriate documentation.

3. As assigned, works with all other divisions and departments to meet the facility infrastructure and utility maintenance, installation and construction needs; negotiates priorities, plans work schedules and job assignments. Recommends use of outside mechanical and utility specialty contractors as appropriate. Oversees and monitors outside mechanical and utility specialty contractors to assure compliance with established hospital standards.

4. Schedules and monitors utility and infrastructure maintenance repair work, alterations and renovation upgrades to the facilities utility and infrastructure systems. As assigned, oversees and monitors infrastructure construction, installation and commissioning activities. Monitors systems and installation processes to ensure the integrity of assigned infrastructure, utility and building systems.

5. Instructs personnel regarding infrastructure and utility hazards to ensure the safe operation and use of equipment. Provides guidance, direction and oversight for infrastructure and utility training. Reviews and selects continuing educational materials and offerings for infrastructure training.

6. Coordinates infrastructure and utility system parts, materials and supplies at an appropriate level within budgetary constraints. Maintains infrastructure and utility replacement schedules and records to keep within the projected capital equipment budget. POSITION SUMMARY

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development.
