Job Description:
This job is responsible for accurate and timely test development and execution and/or supporting operational and administrative activities related to the end to end test execution process. Key responsibilities of the job include executing high quality testing in accordance with the test script, documenting and escalating defects, preliminary reporting and analysis of results, and collaborating with Compliance and Operational Risk officers and/or Front Line Unit (FLU) process owners on the identification of themes and trends at the Front Line Unit (FLU), control function and Enterprise level.
Responsibilities:
Conducts independent testing on a team in support of coverage needs identified by Compliance and Operational Risk officers and/or Front Line Unit process owners, inclusive of transactional, qualitative, onsite, employee quality review, and surveillance testing
Identifies, documents, and escalates defects identified during testing, working closely with Compliance and Operational Risk officers and/or Front Line Unit process owners to validate preliminary results
Collaborates with Compliance and Operational Risk officers and/or Front Line Unit process owners on the identification of themes and trends at the Front Line Unit, control function and enterprise level
Manages the quality of the end to end execution process in accordance with the Independent Testing Enterprise Policy and Standard
Supports the test development process as applicable depending upon the complexity of the testing
Interacts with internal and/or external contacts to identify, research, analyze, and resolve complex problems

Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) Consumer Banking Testing (CBT) is responsible for Consumer testing aligned to Retail, Preferred, Small Business, Global Consumer Operations, and Consumer Global Compliance and Operational Risk. EIT has established itself as the enterprise utility to test all end-to-end processes on behalf of Second Line of Defense, Frontline Units (FLUs) and Control Functions (CFs), enabling more efficient and effective testing. EIT is transforming the way testing is built and executed with digital transformation, implementing automation, and leveraging cutting edge Artificial Intelligence/Natural Language Processing technologies. EIT carries a portfolio of 8,000+ tests and has a global footprint of testing professionals across the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America as well as Global Business Services (GBS) associates.

Role Overview:
As a Testing Specialist II, main responsibilities include:
Accountable for accurate and timely test execution
Execute testing requiring administrative judgment in the execution of complex testing according to the determined scope
Independently identify risk defects and root cause for finding placement and details defects
Examine loan documentation for accuracy and completeness
Provide training and direction to more junior staff as appropriate
Elevate errors and recommends enhancements as appropriate
Review reversal requests/arbitration appeals as well as analyze results
Work special projects as necessary
Subject Matter Expert (SME) on appointed tests collaborating with business partners, etc.
Perform Quality Assurance Testing
Contributes to Test Development Intakes as needed, including test script edits and pilot testing
Create and submit redlined test scripts for Simple Path processing
Point-of-contact for Support Lead or assist Testing Lead when needed
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in residential loan underwriting including Conforming, Nonconforming, HELOC, Custom, FHA and VA
Desired Skills:
Interpret Relevant Laws, Rules, and Regulations
HUD DE and VA LAPP/Automatic Certifications preferred.

EIT is a centralized group within Global Risk Management responsible for independent testing of operational processes within the eight lines of business and enterprise control functions at Bank of America to ensure the company is in compliance with domestic and international laws, rules and regulations, and that risk and controls procedures are operating effectively. The Sampling and Test Development Specialist II, with minimal supervision, works in collaboration with the Test Owners, Front Line Units, other Sampling and Test Development resources along with the Test Execution Teams to design and assess the quality of both manual and automated tests, validate data sourcing, conduct required sampling governance or distribute samples for testing, and design or revise sampling procedure documentation, with expert level efficiency and quality. This includes driving test structure to support automation. They will make required changes to new and existing test scripts and test plan documentation, as well as sample and data requirements and maintain integrity within the system of record. Team Overview:
Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) are sub-lines of business within Global Risk Management (GRM). Collectively, they are responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models, analytical tools, and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. GRA and EIT partner with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities it builds address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing its activities, GRA and EIT drive innovation, process improvement and automation. The team develops and executes tests to evaluate the effectiveness of Bank of America's processes and controls, and adherence to applicable Laws/Rules/Regulations, policies, and procedures.
Role Overview:
The Sample & Test Developer is responsible for developing testing scripts that provide timely, useful, and actionable independent insight on the operational health of Bank of America's processes.
The developer will assess the quality of both manual and automated tests, validate data sourcing, conduct required sampling governance or distribute samples for testing, and design or revise sampling procedure documentation, with expert level efficiency and quality. The developer works closely with process owners in the Front-Line Units and Control Functions (FLUs/CFs) to obtain an understanding of their processes, including underlying data, flows, and controls, and to identify risks to successful execution, so that appropriate testing and monitoring can be developed.
This role also entails partnering effectively with Global Compliance Operational Risk (GCOR), as well as various horizontal teams within Global Risk Analytics/Enterprise Independent Testing who provide operational, data sourcing, and technology infrastructure support. The outputs of the methodologies will be used to drive process improvements and timely detection of errors.
This role is integral to the Bank's commitment to process excellence. We are looking for candidates with expertise in process and operational excellence, but this does not need to necessarily be in a Financial Institution and could be in manufacturing, logistics, etc.
The processes to be assessed span across Products (e.g., card, mortgage, autos), Regulations (e.g., The Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), the U.S. PATRIOT Act, Anti-Bribery Anti Corruption, and Anti-Money Laundering Laws), and Enterprise Processes (e.g., Global Human Recourses (GHR), Global Financial Crimes (GFC), Global Strategy & Enterprise Platforms (GSEP), Tax, Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Due Diligence (CDD)). Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) are sub-lines of business within Global Risk Management (GRM). Collectively, they are responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models, analytical tools, and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. GRA and EIT partner with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities it builds address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing its activities, GRA and EIT drive innovation, process improvement and automation. The team develops and executes tests to evaluate the effectiveness of Bank of America's processes and controls, and adherence to applicable Laws/Rules/Regulations, policies, and procedures.
Role Overview:
The Sample & Test Developer is responsible for developing testing scripts that provide timely, useful, and actionable independent insight on the operational health of Bank of America's processes.
The developer will assess the quality of both manual and automated tests, validate data sourcing, conduct required sampling governance or distribute samples for testing, and design or revise sampling procedure documentation, with expert level efficiency and quality. This role is responsible for accessing pertinent databases or acquiring raw data from third party sources.
The developer works closely with process owners in the Front-Line Units and Control Functions (FLUs/CFs) to obtain an understanding of their processes, including underlying data, flows, and controls, and to identify risks to successful execution, so that appropriate testing and monitoring can be developed.
This role also entails partnering effectively with Global Compliance Operational Risk (GCOR), as well as various horizontal teams within Global Risk Analytics/Enterprise Independent Testing who provide operational, data sourcing, and technology infrastructure support. The outputs of the methodologies will be used to drive process improvements and timely detection of errors.
This role is integral to the Bank's commitment to process excellence. We are looking for candidates with expertise in process and operational excellence, but this does not need to necessarily be in a Financial Institution and could be in manufacturing, logistics, etc.
The processes to be assessed span across Products (e.g., card, mortgage, autos), Regulations (e.g., The Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), the U.S. PATRIOT Act, Anti-Bribery Anti Corruption, and Anti-Money Laundering Laws), and Enterprise Processes (e.g., Global Human Recourses (GHR), Global Financial Crimes (GFC), Global Strategy & Enterprise Platforms (GSEP), Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Due Diligence (CDD)). GRA and EIT partner with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities it builds address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing its activities, GRA and EIT drive innovation, process improvement and automation. Role Overview:
The Sample & Test Developer is responsible for developing testing scripts that provide timely, useful, and actionable independent insight on the operational health of Bank of America's processes.
The developer will assess the quality of both manual and automated tests, validate data sourcing, conduct required sampling governance or distribute samples for testing, and design or revise sampling procedure documentation, with expert level efficiency and quality. This role is responsible for accessing pertinent databases or acquiring raw data from third party sources.
The developer works closely with process owners in the Front-Line Units and Control Functions (FLUs/CFs) to obtain an understanding of their processes, including underlying data, flows, and controls, and to identify risks to successful execution, so that appropriate testing and monitoring can be developed.
This role also entails partnering effectively with Global Compliance Operational Risk (GCOR), as well as various horizontal teams within Global Risk Analytics/Enterprise Independent Testing who provide operational, data sourcing, and technology infrastructure support. The outputs of the methodologies will be used to drive process improvements and timely detection of errors.
This role is integral to the Bank's commitment to process excellence. We are looking for candidates with expertise in process and operational excellence, but this does not need to necessarily be in a Financial Institution and could be in manufacturing, logistics, etc.

Responsibilities:
Performs complex analysis of financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance
Supports department-wide strategies and portfolio trend analysis, forecasting, and risk/control performance
Leads innovation by identifying and championing large scale initiatives that improve the risk management, profitability, and control oversight of risks for the business unit
Identifies business trends based on economic and portfolio conditions and communicates findings to senior management
Coaches employees on best practices for structuring complex problems, performing analysis, and communicating the results and implications of their work
Maintains strategic relationships with peers and counterparts across product, technology, and business control functions
Responsible for fraud strategy risk management of several credit card authorization channels, trend identification and development of segmentation to responsibly manage fraud risk.
Ensures effective governance and cadence on progress reviews, communication, stakeholder updates as well as enhances clarity for the wider team and work streams on backward / forward linkages across business processes
Safeguards risk mitigation and sufficiency of controls to protect key business outcomes and guarantees seamless hand off to operations team for new processes
Role integrates knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and decisioning processes
Required Qualifications:
Strong technical ability with SAS and SQL
Strong strategic thinking skills with a track record of being able to break complex problems down and develop a clear strategy / action plan.
Experience conducting portfolio analysis and segmentation development.
Strong technical acumen to understand data and process flows, especially as it relates to direct decision engine management.
Ability to work across functional lines and organizational levels to drive results.
Exceptional communication and influence skills - Will be responsible for working both "in the details" and also be able to articulate the "executive-level" summary.

Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products. Job expectations include applying and expanding knowledge by completing required licenses and trainings. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Since this position requires SAFE Act registration, employees are required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process. Responsibilities:
- Works with clients to plan their short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money managed solutions
- Recommends banking and investments strategies that align with client financial goals and needs
- Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities
- Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
- Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended
Required Qualifications:
- Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses. If you do not currently hold the 66 but have either a 63 or 65, an offer can be extended with the condition that a passing score is received for the missing series within 60 days.
- Has at least one year experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
- Has at least one year experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
