Job Description:

This job is responsible for managing a financial center (FC) in collaboration with senior team members, supporting the operational excellence of the FC and ensuring that all aspects run effectively and cohesively. Key responsibilities include overseeing of functions such as the smooth and efficient functioning of the teller line, day-to-day policy and procedure adherence, and improvement of financial center performance. Job expectations include ensuring that directives are implemented and taking up leadership responsibility for the financial center when teammates are absent.

Job Description:

This job is responsible for supporting the Financial Advisor (FA) team to further develop and enhance existing client relationships. Key responsibilities include serving as a key point of contact for clients on any non-administrative requests/needs while supporting relationship management activities and developing, implementing, and monitoring the team's client service model. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing Risk oversight activities (i.e. monitoring, testing and targeted assessments), interfacing with CFO Group and Corporate Treasury stakeholders on coverage development and execution, and supporting planning and execution of tactical and strategic enhancements to the approach/framework for risk oversight of the CFO Group.

Additional Responsibilities:

The CFO COR Specialist is accountable for assisting the CFO COR Team in the proactive identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks through the execution of some or all of the following activities:

  • Contributes to development of risk coverage plans and executes of independent risk monitoring, testing and risk assessments

  • Supports the development of independent risk management monitoring and testing activities to assess the Treasury organization, including Capital, Liquidity and Funding.

  • Assists in the development of independent risk management reporting for respective area(s) of coverage as input into governance and management routines

  • Assists with the development, maintenance and oversight of policies and standards to ensure regulatory and operational risk requirements are appropriately addressed

  • Monitors the regulatory environment to identify regulatory changes applicable to Capital and Liquidity

  • Assists in identifying, aggregating, reporting, escalating, inspecting and challenging remediation plans, and performing thematic analysis on issues and control enhancements

  • Assists in remediating CFO COR -owned- issues and control enhancements

  • Supports the review and challenge of internal and external operational loss events, including development of remediation plans to strengthen controls

  • Assists with the development of risk metrics, monitors related performance and breach remediation

The Attack Surface Visibility and Analysis (ASVA) team is responsible for data mining efforts to identify and understand the firm's Attack Surface. The team utilizes enterprise systems of record, systems of origin and other available data stores to deliver a comprehensive, reliable and timely view of the Bank's attack surface and potential for vulnerability exploitation, with the goal of enabling answers to the following three questions:

This role is the manager of the ASVA team, reporting to the Attack Surface & Vulnerability Management executive in the Cyber Security Assurance organization within Bank of America's Global Information Security (GIS) team. ASVA includes experienced teammates who utilize technology tools (for example, Hue (Hive and Impala), Power BI, SQL Server, , MS-Reporting Services (SSRS), MS-Integration Services (SSIS), Cloudera, .NET and Python) to create queries, reporting and visualizations for Global Information Security decisionmakers and operational teams. This managerial role is accountable for setting strategic direction for ASVA, ensuring delivery of timely, high quality and actionable analysis, and coordinating with other GIS and technology teams on key projects and deliverables.

Key ASVA focuses include:

  • Drive thought leadership on transformation of existing vulnerability management activities to effectively meet operational demands/dependencies and improved analysis and risk stratification

  • Identification and integration of critical data sources relevant to vulnerability management into next-generation vulnerability management platform and related processes

  • Collaboration with stakeholders to create repeatable and defensible processes to identify asset-specific risks and mitigating factors within the environment

  • Improved automation of research activities and greater integration of ASVA output into enterprise vulnerability management processes

Responsibilities:

  • Learns how to provide tailored and personalized advice to clients through reviews and presentations, including partnering with management to assess financial goals and recommending investment advisory strategies

The Advisor Development Program (ADP) Journey:

During this stage of your journey, the Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA) will help provide you with the necessary training and guidance through a defined path to become a successful and independent financial advisor. You will have the opportunity to work with both affluent and high net worth clients, identifying needs, developing relationships, reviewing investment goals, and preparing investment recommendations that align with the goals of both existing and prospective clients. In this role you will develop the relationship management skills necessary to operate in an Elite Growth Practice (EGP). From marketing yourself to managing your own practice, we'll prepare you with everything you need as you develop within your role. The MFSA role provides experienced advisors the opportunity to pursue a career within Merrill Wealth Management. Once you have honed your skills and demonstrated success as a MFSA, you typically will progress into the next stage of training. Located in a Merrill branch.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)

  • 4+ years of progressive professional and/or military experience

  • Ability to obtain Series 7 and 66 licenses within allotted program time

Pay range

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 hourly pay, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Formulaic incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan. Employees are eligible for incentives as detailed by the specific line of business incentive plan provisions. Formulaic plans may be comprised of monthly, quarterly and/or annual incentive opportunities. Incentives are earned based on the employee's performance against defined metrics.

This job is responsible for working with high-net worth clients in a Merrill branch with annual revenues of $100k-$5mm, identifying needs, developing relationships, reviewing investment goals, and preparing investment recommendations that align with the goals of both existing and prospective clients.
