Job Description:

This job is responsible for working with high-net worth clients in a Merrill branch with annual revenues of $100k-$5mm, identifying needs, developing relationships, reviewing investment goals, and preparing investment recommendations that align with the goals of both existing and prospective clients. Key responsibilities include leveraging technology to achieve business growth goals, profiling activities to determine a client's investor profile and financial resource objectives, building a sustainable book of business and providing opportunities for advisors to pursue a career within the bank. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Since this position requires SAFE Act registration, employees are required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Responsibilities:

  • Learns how to provide tailored and personalized advice to clients through reviews and presentations, including partnering with management to assess financial goals and recommending investment advisory strategies

  • Understands client solutions that are best suited for their financial needs, such as core Banking, and Investment and Life PriorityTM solutions

  • Shadows Financial Advisor teams to build their network by sharing relevant market developments and discussing new products (as appropriate) in an effort to promote portfolio growth

  • Leverages available resources and technologies to optimize the customer experience and serve the bank's customers with operational excellence and accuracy

  • Participates in on-going training focused on how to develop a book of business to meet and exceed pre-defined financial targets and determine how to progress to the next phase as an advisor

The Advisor Development Program (ADP) Journey:

During this stage of your journey, the Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA) will help provide the necessary training and guidance through a defined path to become a successful and independent financial advisor. You will have the opportunity to work with both affluent and high net worth clients, identifying needs, developing relationships, reviewing investment goals, and preparing investment recommendations that align with the goals of both existing and prospective clients. In this role you will develop the relationship management skills necessary to operate in an Elite Growth Practice (EGP). From marketing yourself to managing your own practice, we'll prepare you with everything you need as you develop within your role. The MFSA role provides experienced advisors the opportunity to pursue a career within Merrill Wealth Management. Once you have honed your skills and demonstrated success as a MFSA, you typically will progress into the next stage of training. This role is located in a Merrill branch.

Job Description:

This job is responsible for performing end-to-end investigations or investigations support functions of external financial crimes activities across one or more lines of business. Key responsibilities include conducting routine to complex investigations, including fraud committed by external parties, money laundering, or terrorist financing and acting as the liaison to Law Enforcement as required. Job expectations include providing coaching and inputs to investigators to improve case quality, ensure all cases are sufficiently investigated and findings are adequately documented.

The Senior Global Financial Crimes (-GFC-) Investigator, under broad supervision, partners with investigators to ensure investigative procedures are followed and quality standards are maintained. The Senior GFC Investigator is a subject matter expert (-SME-) in the financial crimes area and is responsible for approving recommendations by the GFC Investigator to file or not to file a Suspicious Activity Report (-SAR-) as a result of a completed investigation. The Senior GFC Investigator will be relied upon to direct their attention to completing investigations reviews, managing risk, while ensuring cases meet or exceed closure and quality metrics, reporting facts of the investigation to assist in identifying potential operational or compliance risks, and completing Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) in a timely and accurate manner for submission to regulators and/or law enforcement. This role may partner with GFCC Risk Management, front line units or other stakeholders to resolve investigations.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, analyzes, and makes recommendations on investigations, while identifying enhancements to ensure cases meet or exceed closure and quality metrics

  • Reviews Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) in a timely and accurate manner for submission to regulators and/or law enforcement

  • Reports facts of the investigation to senior stakeholders, assisting in identifying potential operational or compliance risks and partners with Global Financial Crimes (GFC) Management and/or Front Line Units (FLU) to resolve investigations

  • Performs quality control functions, training, communications, guidance, monitoring scenario development/enhancement input and testing, or law enforcement liaison responsibilities in an investigative support role

  • Delivering 2nd line risk management by conducting routine investigations reviews involving for the Consumer line of business.

  • Reviewing all cases completed by the team to ensure a thorough and accurate assessment of risk.

  • Providing coaching and input to GFC investigators on work product to improve quality and ensure all cases are sufficiently investigated and findings adequately documented.

  • Ensuring accuracy and quality of case investigations and documented findings.

  • Communicating case returns/ risk in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Analyzing the facts presented by the investigator, reviews investigator recommendations, and makes the determination of whether a SAR and/or state report should be filed, as well as the future disposition of the client's relationships/accounts.

  • Participating in the onboarding supporting and mentoring of investigators.

  • Participating in the case assignment process to distribute work across investigative teams in consideration team capacity and optimal performance.

  • Supporting the identification of improvements to the investigations and case assignment processes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the investigative procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience

  • 1+ years of AML/Compliance experience and or knowledge of AML typologies

  • 1+ years of investment experience/work or good knowledge of investments/securities products and services.

  • Prior anti-money laundering / financial crimes investigation experience in a financial institution or government position.

  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication/skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Self-starter capable of analyzing and reporting independently.

Job Description:

This job is responsible for ensuring operational data is fit for purpose, defining controls, and monitoring processes are in adherence to enterprise data management standards. Key responsibilities include triaging and remediating data incidents, performing data analysis, training new users, and performing impact analysis stemming from data updates.   • Develops and executes on Enterprise Data Management policies and standards, works across teams to ensure adherence, serves as a key point of contact for all topics related to data compliance, and manages operational elements of the (Enterprise Data Strategy Governance and Operations (EDSGO) relationship

Job Description:

This job is responsible for leading a dynamic oil and gas engineering process that evaluates the client's oil and gas reserves to determine proper loan asset values and potential collateral risks that could jeopardize loan repayment. The successful candidate will possess the necessary technical skills and relevant managerial experience to lead a team of bank engineers to execute the process at a high level while continuing to drive for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Role Responsibilities

Bank of America's engineering staff is responsible for evaluating the client's oil and gas reserves in conjunction with new financing transactions under consideration plus semi-annual borrowing base redeterminations. The engineering position supports the process by performing analysis and risk assessment of client engineering data. This position will have responsibilities for managing associates, but will also require the engineer to provide engineering analysis and support for their own clients.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Drive accuracy, consistency and timely execution of the engineering process

The Merrill Wealth Management Team Financial Advisor (TFA) engages in:

Ideal candidates:

The Team Financial Advisor Development Program is designed for individuals ready to make a career transition and follow their passion of becoming a Financial Advisor. Successful candidates have at least three years of full time sales experience in ever more challenging environments. The sales experience should include the successful use of outbound sales techniques to exceed sales goals. Financial acumen gained through work experience is ideal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performance Hurdles: A Team Financial Advisor (TFA) must acquire clients through personalized marketing techniques to meet minimum performance hurdles.

  • Registration and Licensing Requirement: A TFA is required to obtain necessary licensing and registrations (Series 7 and Series 66 and Insurance).

  • Education Requirement: A TFA is required to complete the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Investment Planning Course and the Financial Planning course.

  • Development Assessment: A TFA must successfully complete ongoing Developmental Assessments throughout the training. In preparation for the assessment, the TFA studies a variety of topics and may participate in developmental activities in the areas including but not limited to: Merrill strategy, products & services, wealth management process, desk top technology, marketing consultative sales skills and investment financial planning knowledge.

  • Performance Requirements: A TFA is expected to meet the performance and development requirements of the Financial Advisor Development Program and transition to a full Financial Advisor at the conclusion of the program.

Job Description:

This job is responsible for leading a dynamic oil and gas engineering process that evaluates the client's oil and gas reserves to determine proper loan asset values and potential collateral risks that could jeopardize loan repayment. The successful candidate will possess the necessary technical skills and relevant managerial experience to lead a team of bank engineers to execute the process at a high level while continuing to drive for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Role Responsibilities

Bank of America's engineering staff is responsible for evaluating the client's oil and gas reserves in conjunction with new financing transactions under consideration plus semi-annual borrowing base redeterminations. The engineering position supports the process by performing analysis and risk assessment of client engineering data. This position will have responsibilities for managing associates, but will also require the engineer to provide engineering analysis and support for their own clients.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Drive accuracy, consistency and timely execution of the engineering process

  • Champion data driven decision-making and removes obstacles to optimize operations

  • Develop and refine engineering techniques for continued process improvement

  • Experience with bank E&P (Exploration & Production) borrowing bases required

Job Description:

The Global Financial Crime (-GFC-) Executive I contributes to the direction and drives the development of enterprise-wide money laundering, economic sanctions, and fraud compliance and operational risk practices consistent with applicable laws, rules, regulations and regulatory guidance. The Global Financial Crimes Risk Management Executive serves as a direct report to the Global Financial Crimes Executive - Consumer, Small Business & Merchant Services (CSBB) and is a member of Bank of America's Global Financial Crimes (-GFC") leadership team. This executive is accountable for oversight of the Consumer and Small Business AML & Sanctions program and ensures the First Line Unit is adhering to AML & Sanctions Policy, Program and Standards.

The GFC Risk Management Executive must exercise judgment and demonstrate the ability to influence, challenge, and coordinate across peers on the Global Financial Crimes leadership team and across the First Line Unit. The executive will be responsible for a range of deliverables including leading the Enterprise AML & Sanctions Risk Assessment Process and ad hoc AML & Sanctions advisory to the CSBB business.

The Global Financial Crime (-GFC-) Executive I contributes to the direction and drives the development of enterprise-wide money laundering, economic sanctions, and fraud compliance and operational risk practices consistent with applicable laws, rules, regulations and regulatory guidance. Merrill Team Financial Advisor Business Development Program

The Merrill Wealth Management Team Financial Advisor (TFA) engages in:

  • Developing a book of business in order to meet and exceed the required performance hurdles

  • Effectively sourcing prospective clients, capitalizing on referrals, assessing customer needs, referring customers to the appropriate service provider, and executing highly customized solutions to meet the customer needs

  • Recommending investment products and services that are suitable for prospects and clients based on their objectives, resources, time horizon, risk profile and preferences

  • Balancing investment growth, referral activities, customer follow up, prospect building, administrative compliance and personal growth and development according to both a day-to-day and longer-term plan

  • Planning and managing resources (time, people, budget) to run a productive practice

  • Seeking the expertise of specialists, where appropriate, to identify planning and investment strategies for a client

  • Establishing and maintaining relationship with the management team and informing management of any circumstances that require supervisoryattention/review/approvalas per compliance guidelines and policies

  • Completing mandated training, assessments, performance goals and continuing education requirements

The TFA engages in all of the above activities with the support and mentorship of a Financial Advisor Team.

Ideal candidates:

The Team Financial Advisor Development Program is designed for individuals ready to make a career transition and follow their passion of becoming a Financial Advisor. Successful candidates have at least three years of full time sales experience in ever more challenging environments. The sales experience should include the successful use of outbound sales techniques to exceed sales goals. Financial acumen gained through work experience is ideal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performance Hurdles: A Team Financial Advisor (TFA) must acquire clients through personalized marketing techniques to meet minimum performance hurdles.

  • Registration and Licensing Requirement: A TFA is required to obtain necessary licensing and registrations (Series 7 and Series 66 and Insurance).

  • Education Requirement: A TFA is required to complete the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Investment Planning Course and the Financial Planning course.

  • Development Assessment: A TFA must successfully complete ongoing Developmental Assessments throughout the training. In preparation for the assessment, the TFA studies a variety of topics and may participate in developmental activities in the areas including but not limited to: Merrill strategy, products & services, wealth management process, desk top technology, marketing consultative sales skills and investment financial planning knowledge.

  • Performance Requirements: A TFA is expected to meet the performance and development requirements of the Financial Advisor Development Program and transition to a full Financial Advisor at the conclusion of the program.

Job Summary:

The Trust Senior Associate (TSA) is a specialist role that has primary responsibility for assisting the Senior Trust Officer and Trust Officer in all phases of trust account/relationship servicing, fulfillment and/or administration. TSAs are trust product experts who act as an additional point of contact for clients and/or as a backup for client-facing Trust Officers.

The TSA will coordinate the internal delivery of trust services through the appropriate channels within the Fiduciary Services and/or Trust Operations groups. Additionally, TAs will seek out new business opportunities from existing books of business and assist other service associates as needed.

Job Description:

  • In addition to the ability to deliver generalist support, and as part of the Client Team, actively support Senior Trust Officers and Trust Officers to meet clients' trust needs and expectations

  • Serve as an additional point of contact to clients and/or as backup for the Trust Officers

  • Initiate and monitor client onboarding including account opening and asset transfer; handle client inquiries related to the on-boarding process; KYC refresh and ongoing requests, digital engagement and fulfillment

  • Responsible for:

  • Complex party maintenance

  • Administrative Review (IM&T)

  • Transaction Processing and Management

  • Money Movement (Trust)

  • Specialized Fiduciary Transactions

  • Perform servicing, fulfillment and account maintenance activities, which are primarily trust/fiduciary-related that include PACE/Trust Web accounting transactions, deposits/transfers, etc.

  • Leverage experience and deep expertise especially with the most complex administrative trust needs to manage and/or execute client transactions

  • Proactively identify deepening opportunities while performing existing responsibilities and engaging in meaningful interactions

  • Coordinate with Client Teams and partner to deliver an integrated service to the client and identify and resolve issues in an effective and timely manner
