In this role you are focused on team leadership, implementations, projects and change management for our country, regional and global customers. This is a Global role with subject matter expertise targeted for the Americas region - with Leadership capability over all regions.

  • Lead, mentor and coach your team

  • Responsible for personnel recruiting, hiring and training

  • Develop and implement service level and quality standards, ensuring team meets or exceeds expectations

  • Create and execute to plans - provide clear and accurate documentation and ensure transparency of all work is available to the business real time

  • Manage change; coordinating efforts that contribute to organizational success

  • Continuous process improvement; frequently review process and service delivery to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Step in as Project lead to bridge resource assignments and manage projects of various types as project lead

  • Raise, elevate and solve for risks and concerns in timely fashion

  • Support or take over assigned work of any team members in event of emergency

  • Liaise with other mangers and peer departments to gain information, reduce risks and improve collaboration

  • Expense control; find opportunities to improve the efficiencies of operations - manage employee T&E and adherence to policies

In this position you will develop and manage People & Culture practices and you are responsible for assigned P&C practice areas. You work with local, regional and global P&C teams to develop a best in class P&C practice consistent with global P&C strategy and guidelines. People & Culture is on top of the agenda of the Senior Leadership Team, which you will be part of. In this role you will report directly to the Managing Director EMEA. This is primarily a work from home position where you occasionally travel within EMEA. A snapshot of this opportunity

  • An active participant and member of the EMEA Senior Leadership Team

  • Supporting the Managing Director in EMEA in achieving the region's goals and strategy

  • Act as the M&E point of contact and contributor for all restructure and growth initiatives across the region

  • Being the strategic point of contact for all managers in the region for their people issues (such as strategic workforce planning & local people strategies)

  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with the P&C team from our sister company BCD Travel

  • Actively drive and manage our people and organizational development in EMEA

  • Participate and coordinate in the annual P&C processes related to the employee experience

  • Working closely together with the Meetings & Events Global P&C team on an international and consistent P&C strategy and talent management program

  • You manage and further develop 1 direct report, the HRBP in Germany.

  • Extensive experience in HR Manager

  • Experience working in an international environment

  • Broad experience in works council processes

  • You accompanied change situations from an HR perspective (restructure and growth)

  • Excellent people skills, pro-active and a strong communicator

  • Very good command in spoken and written English and/or Dutch, German, Italian

  • Good sense of humor and a positive, hands-on mentality

  • Responsible for the utilization of established and proven project management methodology, tools, and processes (PMP, OPPM, Prince2, Six Sigma).

  • Responsible for the utilization of established and proven project management methodology, tools, and processes (PMP, OPPM, Prince2, Six Sigma).

  • Responsible for global project coordination with a broad scope of multi-national countries, local or regional implementation coordination

  • Coordinate and align the planning of the projects within the program or multinational implementation according to scope

  • Stand-in Account or Operations Manager in the case of a new business implementations.

  • Supports global business implementations, medium to high complexity local country implementations, existing business consolidations, regional cross-border special projects, GDS conversions, etc.

  • Ability to validate that suggested process solutions will meet the client's expectations.

  • Able to scope, plan, analyze, initiate, execute, monitor and control projects and programs.

    Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in a qualified project management role

  • Strong technical skills in Abacus, Amadeus, Apollo, Galileo, Sabre, Worldspan or another local GDS.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Applications

  • Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt, PMP and/or project management certification preferred

  • Experience in driving key information security, compliance, and other regulatory requirements internally and externally

  • Supports global business implementations, medium to high complexity local country implementations, existing business consolidations, regional cross-border special projects, GDS conversions, etc.

    Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in a qualified project management role

  • Strong technical skills in Abacus, Amadeus, Apollo, Galileo, Sabre, Worldspan or another local GDS.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Applications

  • Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt, PMP and/or project management certification preferred

  • Experience in driving key information security, compliance, and other regulatory requirements internally and externally
