Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces. There may be a need to frequently position oneself to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.
Continuously requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.
Usually in a comfortable indoor environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment that may require shouting in order to be heard. There could be exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and/or coolers.

Provides exceptional member service and promptly assists members as needed. Ensures the safety of people, property and environment while assisting members with gas station transactions.
Responsible for monitoring gas station sales transactions and handling cash transactions when applicable.
Maintain cleanliness standards of restrooms; custodial duties as needed.
Monitors gas station reporting, ensures reports are generated, and performs gas station checklist procedures. Properly documents and addresses identified issues.
Accurately performs all opening and closing procedures.
Regularly monitors and maintains gas station equipment.
Oversees the fuel delivery process and performs required preparation procedures.
Understands the safety and security features of the gas station and complies with safety, environmental and security standards. Informs management and help desk when any alarms are present.
Performs cash drawer procedures including cash deposit, verification, documentation and control procedures.
Performs competitive price surveys daily and ensures posted gas prices and club signage match the pricing in the POS (point of sale) system
Understands and properly follows all spill bucket and spilled material procedures including immediate response and clean up procedures at the gas station.
Logs all visitors and obtains proper ID before allowing anyone inside the kiosk area. Notifies corporate office of any non-routine maintenance vendor visits including, but not limited to, weights and measures, inspectors and state employees.

Responsible for performing general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list, physical breakdown of merchandise, building and shrink-wrapping packages, moving merchandise from sales floor to staging area, using handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations, and operating equipment. Omni Experience Ambassador will be working within all digital initiatives including: BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay and Ship from Club.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Processes member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner by pulling merchandise from a picklist. Utilizes a handheld scanner device (RF) device to pick orders from the sales floor. Uses handheld scanner device (RF) to verify merchandise. Builds boxes, shrink wraps packages, moves merchandise from sales floor to staging area.
- Communicates problems with inventory and/or equipment and communicates expired or short-dated items included on pick list. - Communicates with club team when merchandise needs to be replenished. - Works with team to have merchandise pulled from reserve area, when possible, to avoid sales floor replenishment. - Ensures all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet all productivity requirements. Works with a high level of urgency to ensure deadlines are met. Follows operational efficiencies, processes and productivity standards with adherence to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside and Ship from Club. - Wraps and secures the merchandise to the pallet prior to transport. Clearly labels pallets with required information. - Securely packages the order in accordance with standard operating procedures. - Processes the shipment through BJ's Fulfillment Center and other systems. - Oversees the package carrier pick up. - Ensures the SFC area is neat, clean, and organized. Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area. Handles damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with standard operating procedures. - Processes returns to the club and makes determination on how to handle (via DDR or Membership desk)

The responsibility of the Crossdock Forklift Operator is to perform general warehouse activities. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Accurately receiving and uploading trailers, physical breakdown of merchandise, building and stretch wrapping of pallets Shuttling merchandise from receiving to shipping, laydown and storage areas Loading of product into shipping trailers Coordinating inbound and outbound storage freight Sorting and distributing pallets to be utilized within the warehouse Using hand held units to verify merchandise being distributed Operating powered equipment including: forklift, pallet jack, tugger and clamp attachments
Requirements
Previously forklift experience preferred Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance, above 30lbs with assistance. Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes heat, cold, noise, dust When needed working on powered equipment and standing, bending, lifting.

Ensures deli cooler shelves and deli display cases have a wide variety of product. Stocks and rotates deli items when necessary.
Operates and handles deli equipment in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
Cleans and sanitizes deli equipment and food surfaces throughout the department, including rotisserie ovens, cooking utensils, refrigerated cases, and the deli cooler.
Ensures scale systems are in working order. Makes sure items are weighed and priced accurately.
Maintains all club policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

Qualifications
Work experience in a deli department preferred.
Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
