Job Summary

Stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food in the club. Ensures that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked. Maintains the neat and clean environment of the club by removing all trash and debris from the store.

Job Summary

Responsible for serving as support to the Asset Protection Supervisor to maintain workflow and count processes. Operating a forklift and working in tandem with all Inventory control team members to provide exceptional member shopping experience by conducting, organizing, and validating inventory counts, sorting damaged and RTV, reducing salvage, obtaining return authorizations from vendors and re-wrapping sellable merchandise. • Obtains return authorizations from vendors, processes vendor chargebacks, and packages and ships merchandise returns based on vendor return policies.

• Works proactively with department teams to track, plan, coordinate and execute department inventory counts control county cycles as prescribed by Home Office within assigned deadlines.

• Follow count processes and procedures.

• Maintains the correct stock / inventory status for all damaged, defective, and returned merchandise.

• Assesses breakage logs associated with leaking, spoiled and broken merchandise and processes merchandise out of inventory. Processes freezer and dairy damages.

• Understands the company's community / donation programs and administers salvage and donation merchandise orders.

• Conduct daily club safety walks, escalate findings to Asset Control Inventory Supervisor

• Supports Inventory Control Count Team in executing count processing as assigned.

• Review daily return reports, processes merchandise recalls, and processes tire and battery returns.

• Ensures that the AFS and release dates are followed.

• Ensures that the books are stocked, and that the execution of book returns are completed in partnership with the RICS.

• Processes the 945/948/950's in partnership with the AP Specialist

• Re-wraps sellable merchandise using appropriate seal and shrink-wrap packaging guidelines.

• Ensures the department is organized and clean. Follows established safety, filing organization, and lock-up standards.

• Completes and maintains necessary training and annual safety re-certifications to effectively operate a forklift

• Maintains all club policies and procedures.

- Processes member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner by pulling merchandise from a picklist. Utilizes a handheld scanner device (RF) device to pick orders from the sales floor. Uses handheld scanner device (RF) to verify merchandise. Builds boxes, shrink wraps packages, moves merchandise from sales floor to staging area.

- Communicates problems with inventory and/or equipment and communicates expired or short-dated items included on pick list. - Communicates with club team when merchandise needs to be replenished. - Works with team to have merchandise pulled from reserve area, when possible, to avoid sales floor replenishment. - Ensures all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet all productivity requirements. Works with a high level of urgency to ensure deadlines are met. Follows operational efficiencies, processes and productivity standards with adherence to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside and Ship from Club. - Wraps and secures the merchandise to the pallet prior to transport. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:- Provides assistance to Members in the produce department. Answers questions, recommends products and safe handling tips, and assists Members with finding products throughout the club.- Inspects, rotates, and stores produce upon delivery. Ensures that all received produce meets or exceeds company produce standards.- Rotates produce on the sales floor to ensure optimal freshness and variety. Ensures cases and display areas are fully stocked. Keeps the produce displays neat and clean. Removes products that are no longer suitable for sale.- Maintains the produce reserve stock area. Dates and rotates all back stock items. Ensures the storage area is organized and condensed daily.- Follows established guidelines when disposing of damaged, spoiled, and/or expired products.- Assists Fresh Manager with inventory and order processing as needed.- Cleans and sanitizes all produce equipment, display fixtures, and areas, including the produce cooler and refrigerated display cases.- Generates signage for produce goods and performs price check functions when necessary. Ensures all itemsare accurately priced and signed.- Maintains all club policies and procedures.- Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Qualifications:- Work experience in a produce department preferred.- Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items.- At least 18 years of age.

Environmental Job Conditions:- Most of the time is spent moving about frequently on hard surfaces and positioning oneself to examine or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and/or stooping.- Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects greater than 30 pounds with assistance.- Located in a comfortable indoor environment with frequent exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and/or coolers.

The responsibility of the Crossdock Forklift Operator is to perform general warehouse activities. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Accurately receiving and uploading trailers, physical breakdown of merchandise, building and stretch wrapping of pallets Shuttling merchandise from receiving to shipping, laydown and storage areas Loading of product into shipping trailers Coordinating inbound and outbound storage freight Sorting and distributing pallets to be utilized within the warehouse Using hand held units to verify merchandise being distributed Operating powered equipment including: forklift, pallet jack, tugger and clamp attachments

Requirements

Previously forklift experience preferred Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance, above 30lbs with assistance. Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes heat, cold, noise, dust When needed working on powered equipment and standing, bending, lifting.

• Provides a high level of customer service to Members. Answers questions and recommends deli items. Answers Member calls and takes special orders.

• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products, including cheeses and meats. Helps Members select the correct products. Samples product to assist in purchasing decisions. Prepares and packages special orders and party trays.

• Receives and inspects deli shipments. Displays, stocks, rotate, and stores deli products following food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies and procedures.

• Ensures that all products are fresh and meet company quality standards. Checks for out-of-date products daily and follows appropriate product salvage policies and procedures.

• Ensures deli cooler shelves and deli display cases have a wide variety of product. Stocks and rotates deli items when necessary.

• Operates and handles deli equipment in accordance with safety policies and procedures.

• Cleans and sanitizes deli equipment and food surfaces throughout the department, including rotisserie ovens, cooking utensils, refrigerated cases, and the deli cooler.

• Ensures scale systems are in working order. Makes sure items are weighed and priced accurately.

• Maintains all club policies and procedures.

• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Qualifications
