Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Proposal Manager or Senior Proposal Manager to join the West Region Marketing Team. The job includes leading large proposals and presentations, and supports from pre-RFP project positioning through to interview stage, as required.
This will be a hybrid position including a combination of both remote and in-office, that can be based in, but not limited to: Saint Louis, MO; Austin, TX; Orange, CA; Sacramento, CA; Anchorage, AK.
Job Responsibilities:
Accountable for timely, compliant, accurate, and persuasive proposal development and leadership. Responsible for leading large, complex, priority must win pursuits from capture through to interview stage, as required. Understands capture planning best practice and provides robust support and guidance to capture managers in development of the win strategy.
Serves as coach for interview, Q&A and preparing team for global or must win opportunities.
Facilitates color reviews (Pink and Red team), and applies lessons learned to add value to proposal and win plan. Serves as a compliance reviewer and and reviewer on color reviews (pink and red teams) for priority pursuits, applying in-depth institutional knowledge.
Participates actively in Go/No-Go decisions, capture strategy development, and greenlight analyses, drives compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning and positioning activities, and provides leadership and direction, where required.
Analyzes debriefs and applies lessons learned to add value to strategy and reviews. Contributes to leadership and strategic direction for proposals for their account, and reports on client pipeline, internal business development strategies, capture planning, proposal efforts, and debriefs related to that client or market.
Is a subject matter expert for specific client/portfolio or sector. Actively supports marketing strategy and content development related to clients/markets, in collaboration with marketing communications, client account managers (CAMs) and business lines, as necessary.
May supervise small number of staff or serve as an active mentor to Bid Management Coordinators or Specialists. Supports content development for the website, brochures, and other digital media and thought leadership in collaboration with Client Account Managers (CAMs) or Market Sector Leaders, as required.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Proposal Manager:
BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field + 8 years of managing design proposals, in particular winning work for facility design-bid-build and design-build pursuits or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Senior Proposal Manager:
BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field + 10 years of managing design proposals, in particular winning work for facility design-bid-build and design-build pursuits and 2 years of leadership experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of and interest in the A/E industry.
A detailed knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures, work processes, and tools.
A strong working knowledge of word processing programs (e.g., Microsoft Word), spreadsheet management (Excel), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint), as well as desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), graphics programs (e.g., InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop).
A working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
An understanding of CRM. Salesforce experience is a plus.
Initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently, follow up, and bring tasks and projects to full completion.
Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.

AECOM is seeking a Strategic Pricing Director to be based in Houston, TX (or any other AECOM office locations) with the primary responsibility to assist with strategic pricing reviews of critical pursuits.
This position covers all business lines and geographies. We are seeking an individual who has an understanding of market conditions and strong estimating skills. The selected candidate will work with senior roles across the Americas organization. The ideal candidate understands business fundamentals that include business development, client leadership, P&L, project delivery, and can convey innovative solutions.
The responsibilities of this commercial director (strategic pricing) position include, but are not limited to:
Develop and Execute Pricing Strategies: Formulate and implement strategic pricing models across all business lines to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining competitive positioning in the market.
Conduct comprehensive market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand. Use this data to inform pricing decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Finance teams to ensure alignment of pricing strategies with business objectives.
Utilize advanced analytics and pricing tools to continuously refine and optimize pricing structures. Monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies and adjust as necessary to respond to market conditions. Partner with marketing to track historical win/loss details.
Regularly report on pricing strategy performance to senior leadership and other key stakeholders. Provide recommendations for adjustments based on data-driven insights.
Establish and enforce pricing policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent application of pricing strategies across the organization.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with pricing strategies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

BA/BS + 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership.

The Water Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, Water Design-Build Senior Project Manager in California. This position will be part of an exciting team employing the latest technologies to solve critical water supply, treatment, and infrastructure projects such as water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems throughout the United States with a focus on the California market. This is an opportunity to work on some of our nation's most pressing water infrastructure problems and contributing to AECOM's success as an industry leader in engineering and construction.
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Manager will be charged with responsibility to actively direct the performance of ongoing Design Build water and wastewater projects as well as take a leadership role in the development and capture of upcoming design build pursuits.
It is desirable that the DB Senior Project Manager is capable of performing in both conceptual and detailed engineering and construction project management capacities.As a DB Senior Project Manager the primary responsibilities will include managing the activities of a multi-discipline design through AECOM's design centers, as well as overall project management for procurement of process equipment and subcontractors, scheduling, VE or constructability reviews, familiarity with job cost reporting, and budget control activities through the life of the project, including EAC analysis during on-site construction as prime contracting entity. Demonstration of strong commercial and construction contract experience
Those Project managers with either Design Build project management experience will be considered especially those with water/wastewater industry experience or those with experience in industrial (process) oriented construction fields.
Fiscal Experience - Proven project management skills to delivery projects at or under budget and on schedule. Working knowledge of job accounting and reporting methods such as earned value and estimates to complete.
Team Oriented - This position requires the skill set to directly oversee and manage detailed engineering and construction teams working collaboratively together to deliver the project.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental, Sanitary, Chemical Engineering or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid contracting license and/or California PE (Or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Preferred Qualifications:
20+ years' experience in delivering engineering and construction projects in the water/wastewater industry delivered using progressive design-build, lump sum design-build, or CMAR project delivery methods
Good understanding of project delivery and ability to facilitate technical discussions when needed
Proven project management experience with ability to manage a diverse team
Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence and manage risk
Demonstration of strong commercial and construction contract experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Travel to other offices/sites will be required
Experience managing D/B projects that are $30 Million or more
A DBIA certificate is preferred but not required
California P.E. license preferred
Experience in working with local and state regulatory agencies
Experience in managing both engineering and construction subcontractors
Proven ability to conduct competitive assessments and price to win analysis.

This role is pivotal in crafting and implementing community awareness strategies and liaising with clients, the general public, media outlets, and public officials. The candidate will lead communications efforts, focusing on customer service and addressing public concerns. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the Public Involvement Coordination Plan (PICP).

Draft responses to public inquiries.
Support Stakeholder Outreach meetings, ensuring the Developer provides necessary materials (PowerPoint presentations, handouts, talking points).
Coordinate with local governments and schools on project developments.
Represent GDOT's PMT at public events (open houses, stakeholder meetings, groundbreaking ceremonies, ribbon cuttings).
Ensure the Developer complies with the PICP and project document obligations, verifying the accuracy and quality of materials before distribution.
Oversee the Developer's public communications submissions through the Project Management Controls System (PMCS).
Verify the accuracy of Traffic Impact Alerts in coordination with the PMT Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Lead and obtain GDOT approvals.
Participate in PMT internal meetings, providing updates on public involvement activities and receiving direction on PICP submissions.
Attend internal public involvement task force meetings and progress meetings, addressing any outstanding items.
Ensure the submission and accuracy of the Public Information and Communication Monthly Report.
Implement the P3 Division Style Guide.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Develop design criteria, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, barrier/guiderail design, and spot elevation details
Identify utility conflicts and coordinate resolutions based on interdisciplinary constructability reviews, client feedback, and utility needs
Develop construction specifications, quantities, and cost estimates
Implement 3D CADD modeling techniques
Develop technical reports, tables, and graphics per client and/or internal AECOM standards
Adhere to and promote AECOM quality procedures
Complete interdisciplinary technical reviews
Contribute to internal project-related staffing decisions to facilitate meeting client schedule, scope, and budget
Prepare presentations that explain technical findings, recommendations, and limitations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering degree accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET plus a minimum of four (4) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, with highway transportation projects located in the United States
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
Demonstrated experience using Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD), AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or similar design highway or transportation design applications
Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

The Rail Construction Director is responsible for identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring and reporting on project risks, risk mitigations, and contingency across the program. AECOM is actively seeking a highly-motivated Hydrogeologist for employment through the Arlington, VA office, although the candidate may be located remotely. AECOM is searching for candidates that are role models, client-focused, impactful, and decisive.
Hydrogeologist position will be primarily responsible for supporting AECOM's Conceptual Site Modeling practice in our Arlington, Virginia office and remedial investigation work for our Federal government clients. The successful candidate will have at a minimum a BS in Geology or Hydrogeology with significant coursework and/or practical experience in GIS database generation, management, conversion, and visualization and geologic/hydrogeologic data evaluation. Candidate must also be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors. Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative.
This position requires excellent skills in written and spoken communication, organization, time management, and an individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment. Coursework and/or experience involving geology/hydrogeology in the preparation of detailed geologic/hydrogeologic conceptual site models (CSMs), database compilation and management, and 2D/3D visualizations are desirable. Duties may include periodic field work (e.g., borehole logging, groundwater sampling); compiling and evaluating site-related geological, geophysical, hydrogeologic and environmental data; working with a team to utilize the available data to develop a detailed geologic/hydrogeologic CSM; developing 2D and 3D visualizations of the CSM components; and summarizing the CSM in detailed technical reports. Qualified candidates must be comfortable with periodic field work and assignments that require periodic travel.

Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly-motivated Geologist for employment through the Arlington, VA office, although the candidate may be located remotely. AECOM is searching for candidates that are role models, client-focused, impactful, and decisive.
Geologist position will be primarily responsible for supporting AECOM's Conceptual Site Modeling practice in our Arlington, Virginia office. The successful candidate will have at a minimum a MS in Geology or Hydrogeology, with significant coursework and/or practical experience in GIS database generation, management, conversion, and visualization; coursework and/or practical application in stratigraphy and stratigraphic data interpretation; and 4 to 8 years' experience within the industry. Candidate must also be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors. Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative.
This position requires excellent skills in written and spoken communication, organization, time management, and an individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment. Duties may include assisting with field work (e.g., borehole logging, groundwater sampling); compiling and evaluating site-related geological, geophysical, hydrogeologic and environmental data; and preparing detailed geologic cross sections and reports. Coursework and/or experience involving stratigraphy and/or hydrogeology in the preparation of detailed geologic/hydrogeologic conceptual site models is required. Qualified candidates must be comfortable with field work and assignments that require periodic travel.

Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a Design Manager for a Federal Client in the DC Metro Area. The Design Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for delivering design phase services. This includes defining and reviewing design requirements, fee proposals, and design schedules. They will oversee design project managers, who will manage design phase services from pre-design (including site visits and data collection) through to the completion of design and hand-off to the on-site CM teams before construction begins. The Design Manager will also develop implementation strategies for the design approach, define design requirements, and assist in preparing baselines such as estimates, schedules, and scopes.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Facilitate regular meetings and communication to ensure alignment and address any design-related issues

JOB SUMMARY:
The Rail Construction Director is responsible for identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring and reporting on project risks, risk mitigations, and contingency across the program. Broadly, these include risks associated with or potentially impacting the scope, schedule, or budget of the individual projects within the program as well as the overall quality of the program as delivered. This individual will provide oversight to the project team members who are charged with managing individual risks and associated mitigations.

AECOM is actively seeking an Entry Level Environmental Engineer for employment within our Environmental Remediation Practices group in our Salt Lake City (Murray), Utah office to support soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to learn new skills and methods on challenging field and office assignments in a collaborative team environment.
This position is expected to begin in Fall 2024.

Conducting environmental field work, including collecting soil, groundwater, and remediation system data, groundwater sampling, fluid level gauging and oversight of subcontractors.
Producing accurate and complete documentation of operation, inspections, and compliance.

Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking an Entry Level Geologist/Environmental Scientist for employment in our Salt Lake City (Murray), Utah office to support soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to learn new skills and methods while working on challenging field and office assignments in a collaborative team environment.
This position is expected to begin in Fall 2024.
Candidate will gain experience in their discipline through learning on the job and participate in development opportunities enabling professional growth. Candidate will complete field tasks, including site investigations, drilling oversight, soil and groundwater sample collection, remediation system data collection, and related work. The candidate will also provide office support for data management, report preparation, and maintain the required AECOM-related documentation and forms.

Tasks will include:
Conducting environmental field work, including soil logging, groundwater sampling, fluid level gauging and oversight of field surveys, drilling, well installation, development operations, and utility clearance for intrusive operations.
Field document preparation and field data collection, processing, and interpretation.
Supporting office tasks, including data analysis and report preparation.
Utilizing basic scientific principles, theories, practices, and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
Collecting and entering data and applying technical principles and theories.
Interpreting and recording data, conducting analyses, and comparing findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
Travelling to project locations, including driving and overnight stays.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in the Geological, Hydrogeological, or Environmental Sciences; Engineering; or a related field.
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review and a substance abuse test.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the environmental remediation industry (private or public).
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable meeting with clients, colleagues, and sub-contractors alike.
Flexible with working hours and locations; frequent travel within 1 - 2-hour drive of home office and occasionally further.
Willingness and ability to learn and rapidly master new tasks.
Strong research and report writing (including web-based research).
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Strong quality and time management.
Self-starter, develops and delivers work under own initiative.
Solid attention to detail and thorough approach to work.
Proficient with basic computer programs; Microsoft Suite Programs.
