Job Summary:

Fulfilling this role involves splitting a normal work week between deliverable production for the Transportation Management and Academics Program (T-MAP) and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Practice Line administrative functions.

  • T-MAP involvement (~20 hrs./week) will include executing the responsibilities of an Instructional Designer (ID). An ID is responsible for creating engaging and effective learning experiences for a variety of audiences. This role involves analyzing training needs, developing instructional materials, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.

  • Project Administrator (PA, ~20 hrs./week) will involve supporting TMC and Traffic Engineering managers with administrative functions and deliverables associated with maintaining a fiscally and managerially compliant contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Design Related

  • Collaborate with clients and project managers to identify training needs and performance gaps. Conduct thorough needs analyses to determine the learning objectives.

  • Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training (ILT) materials, job aids, and assessments. Ensure that all content aligns with adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.

  • Create interactive and engaging learning content using various tools such as Prezi, Clipchamp, Vyond, Google Classroom or other e-learning software. Develop course materials, including storyboards, scripts, and multimedia elements.

  • Design and develop comprehensive training curricula that meet organizational goals and learner needs. Structure content to ensure logical flow and effective learning experiences.

  • Incorporate multimedia elements (graphics, audio, video) to enhance learning experiences. Work closely with multimedia developers and graphic designers to create high-quality training materials.

  • Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously. Develop project timelines, coordinate with team members, and ensure the timely delivery of training materials.

  • Develop assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Analyze training outcomes and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.

  • Development and maintenance of project and practice line SharePoint sites.

  • Various forms of communication with clients, staff, and sub consultants for meetings, conferences, training sessions, post incident analyses, event management planning, and ad-hoc purposes.

  • Special projects as assigned by project and practice line management across both the East and West Regions.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • ID Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or a related role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, adult learning theory, and experience with e-learning platforms and tools.

  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models and e-learning standards.

  • Develop and Execute Pricing Strategies: Formulate and implement strategic pricing models across all business lines to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining competitive positioning in the market.

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand. Use this data to inform pricing decisions and identify opportunities for growth.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring and reporting on project risks, risk mitigations, and contingency across the program. Broadly, these include risks associated with or potentially impacting the scope, schedule, or budget of the individual projects within the program as well as the overall quality of the program as delivered. This individual will provide oversight to the project team members who are charged with managing individual risks and associated mitigations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide direction, oversight of design/construction matters, and support coordination with cross-functional units to remove -hurdles- that impact the schedule.

  • Provide awareness and guidance in the assessment of technical, management, design, and construction issues.

  • Provide proposed responses to help with carrying out action plans for said issues.

  • Lead the implementation and provide compliance of consultants and contractors with the client's policies, procedures, safety, and quality systems.

  • Provide oversight and direction to PDS PMs, other staff, and subcontractors.

  • Assess and manage risk on behalf of the client.

  • Interact with senior government or public officials and/or executive levels clients on program matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

  • Provide leadership and direction to the various design and construction teams.

  • Assist in communications with federal, state, and local officials and stakeholders on program matters, and the resolution of program issues.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar relevant discipline

  • 15 years of experience in managing the construction of large transportation infrastructure projects in positions of increasing responsibility, including extensive experience in the delivery of design-build projects.

  • Proven ability to work with a wide range of disciplines connected with the successful completion of projects.

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to be based in Fresno, CA .

JOB SUMMARY:

Oversight for rail contracts so that quality, safety, schedule, and cost performance goals are met, which may include administration, facilitating communication between the Authority and contractors, and providing logistical support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform administrative oversight of contractors in documenting delays and progress issues.

  • Support activities include reviewing and providing recommendations on schedule de-risking, facilitating focus workshops on key issues such as submittal reviews and third-party interfaces.

  • Coordinate and report Contractor's performance and provide guidance and standardization for reporting consistency.

  • Commence planning for construction railroad operations.

  • Support the development of policies and procedures related to these contracts.

  • Attend coordination meetings and stakeholder interface meetings.

  • Adhere to established quality procedures and processes

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar relevant discipline

  • 10 years of experience in managing the construction of large transportation infrastructure projects in positions of increasing responsibility, including extensive experience in the delivery of design-build projects.

  • Proven ability to work with a wide range of disciplines connected with the successful completion of projects.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $110,004.00 - $203,508.00.

SUMMARY:

The Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of projects.This role ensures the timely delivery and quality of project deliverables, effectively managing resources and working with minimal supervision to support the organization's environmental program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and oversee project planning, execution, and delivery in the Environmental Services Branch

  • Coordinate with various branches to ensure seamless integration of project components, providing guidance, recommendations, and document review

  • Maintain and develop project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and projects are delivered on time and within scope

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external consultants

  • Track project progress, prepare progress reports, and communicate status updates to leadership

  • Ensure project deliverables comply with Authority standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track

  • Attend and participate in meetings with stakeholders, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to discuss project progress and address any concerns

  • Gather and process data from engineering, design, and other technical experts for use in project documentation

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with transportation or environmental project management

  • Master's degree in project management, environmental planning, environmental sciences, urban and regional planning, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience

  • 10 years of relevant project management experience

  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask

The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm , where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You'll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.

On Thursday, interviews will take place at our Austin office . This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting immediately and in Spring/Summer 2025.

Job Description

We are seeking candidates for the following business lines:

  • Transportation: Structural Engineering related to transportation and transit structures (overpasses, bridges, etc.)

  • Buildings and Places : Structural Engineering related to buildings (commercial, educational, industrial, government)

  • Water: Structural Engineering related to water / wastewater infrastructure and systems.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be on track to graduate by June 2025 from a university / college pursuing a degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. Related engineering disciplines may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education in reinforced concrete design.

  • Experience with Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, etc.

Additional Information

  • As a condition of employment, some roles may require travel and a Valid U.S. Driver's License.

  • Offered rates of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work locations.
