The Senior Manager provides technical advice, guidance and support related to complex and critical transit/rail infrastructures including civil, tunnel, bridges, and buildings related to planning, preliminary design, final design, procurement, and construction of transit and rail projects. AECOM is seeking an Environmental Records Management Specialist to be based in Sacramento, CA . This role is open for remote work.

SUMMARY:

The records management specialist will work closely with the environmental compliance database manager to enter data in the Authority's proprietary environmental compliance database management system, Environmental Mitigation and Management Application (EMMA). This individual will analyze and enter the Authority's environmental commitments as documented in the Mitigation, Monitoring, and Reporting Plan and regulatory permits into EMMA and ensure that the application is updated with any amendments to the regulatory permits. The records management specialist will also support compliance implementation, documentation, and reporting for project sections under construction, and assist with the review and correction of environmental documents submitted into EMMA by the Project and Construction Management (PCM) team and contractors. Currently, project construction spans 119 miles in the Central Valley and is expected to expand to 170 miles from Merced to Bakersfield.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive assignments from the environmental compliance database manager

  • Coding environmental commitments from environmental and permit approval documents into EMMA

  • Assist with the review of environmental documents

  • Assist with updating EMMA with any permit amendments

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring and reporting on project risks, risk mitigations, and contingency across the program. Broadly, these include risks associated with or potentially impacting the scope, schedule, or budget of the individual projects within the program as well as the overall quality of the program as delivered. This individual will provide oversight to the project team members who are charged with managing individual risks and associated mitigations.

AECOM is hiring a Senior Transportation Civil Engineer to lead our civil / highway engineering practice in West Virginia. The position can be based out of either office in Morgantown, WV or Kenova, WV .

We are seeking an experienced, client-focused engineer. Projects range from roadway and site-civil design, for highway and bridge projects, greenways, traffic engineering analysis, design, and transportation planning studies.

The Senior Civil Transportation Engineer will lead several of our Transportation projects for our West Virginia clients and have the opportunity to work on other regional and national projects as a key member of the AECOM Mid-Atlantic Transportation Division.

Position is available for immediate hire.

Job Summary/Responsibilities:

  • Performing engineering, planning, and modeling efforts for all areas of roadway design projects.

  • Collaborating with other engineers, planners, and modelers to research, analyze, or resolve complex transportation analyses or design issues.

  • Assisting in the engineering and planning effort for roadway and highway design, maintenance of traffic, and safety projects including following the agency's plan development process.

  • Guiding/ mentoring junior engineers and providing QA/QC for projects in various areas of highway design, analysis, and simulation.

  • Interacting and coordinating regularly with clients and sub consultants in the various assignments

  • Understanding trends, best practices, and innovation in the transportation industry and exploring opportunities of implementing them on projects.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or other equivalent degree + 8 plus years of related work experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  • Experience collaborating with / working on projects with West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH).

  • PE License in West Virginia or reciprocal is required or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in civil engineering with an emphasis on Roadway, Drainage, Traffic, Site-Civil projects.

  • Project design team lead experience.

  • Bentley InRoads, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or similar design applications.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • MS Office software application skills, such as spreadsheet, word processing, and standard office software.

  • Industry standard computer software.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $86,090.00 - $159,267.00.
