Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to be based in New York, NY. Will Operate as a Construction Manager working directly with the NYC SCA on projects related to schools throughout New York City and the surrounding boroughs.

Responsibilities include:

• Works with the company financial and cornerstone systems and processes.

• Applies financial terminology, measures, financial data analysis concepts and principles in assignments.

• Recognizes processes/project actions that may lead to project financial impact.

• Develops and maintains WBS for small projects.

• Assists in the use of drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline data.

• Begins basic analysis of cost and schedule variances.

• Develops knowledge of accounting principles.

• Assists in assembling data for trending and forecasting.

• Collects data and produces an initial analysis on manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations.

• Collects and analyzes data for tracking actual cost to funding limitations.

• Provides support to tracking purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures.

• Exposure to basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals, concepts and principles.

• Introduced to performance management and cost/schedule integration concepts and principles.

• Develops knowledge of scope control and change management.

• Supports project reporting process as required.

• May participate in project cost review meetings.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS plus 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Leader to join our well established and growing Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) Practice in a technical leadership role managing projects, providing technical direction to project teams, and serving as a technical subject matter expert. As a technical leader in our CCR Practice, the successful candidate will work within our diverse culture on rewarding projects throughout the United States with access to exceptional training and career development opportunities. • Serve as a project manager and/or technical task leader on key projects and accounts.

• Develop new clients and support existing client relationships.

• Attend client meetings and coordinate with multi-disciplinary project teams.

• Provide technical leadership in the areas of CCR ash basin closure, landfill design, solid waste management, groundwater and related regulatory, planning, design and construction phase projects.

• Prepare qualifications, technical approach, and selling messages and communicate them in proposals and project interviews.

• Serve as senior consultant for current and future projects, working with internal project teams and clients to set strategic direction for project execution.

• Participate in national/regional industry organizations, as appropriate on behalf of AECOM and AECOM's clients.

• Help recruit new talent to grow AECOM's team.

This external facing leader will represent AECOM in the marketplace and oversee business development, sales, strategy development and execution. • Manage a team of client account leaders for key Aviation clients, the West Aviation Business Development Manager, and geographic area business development leaders to support client focus and geographic area growth

• Work with the US West Transportation growth team in developing annual targets and goals for the fiscal year for Aviation, and own the Awards and Bookings KPIs

• Provide leadership in recruiting and retaining top talent to the Aviation team, aligned with client needs and strategic pursuits

• In collaboration with senior leadership, develop and own the long-term vision for sustained growth of AECOM's Aviation business in the West

• Oversee the capture process for key pursuits in Aviation to ensure best practices are being adhered to, and continuously improve capture results

• Evaluate Aviation opportunities and determine which to pursue based on client understanding, pre-positioning, alignment with overall growth strategy, and AECOM strategic position

• Oversee the client account management program for key clients in Aviation to ensure active management

• Collaborate with local leadership across the West and organize civic engagement activities and be responsible for budgeting and tracking business development and civic spend

• Be responsible for holding regular Aviation business development meetings with all relevant stakeholders and ensuring frequent and regular communication

• Potential to be project manager and principal on key projects in the Aviation market

• Track potential client project needs and capital planning programs throughout the West region, specifically large and medium hub airports

• Engage with local marketplace with small and diverse business partners through regular meetings or planned AECOM events

• Entry and tracking program and project pursuits in Salesforce Leading contract proposals for projects across the region

• Collaborate and coordinate across relevant geographies and teams:

• Across business lines with Energy, Buildings and Places, Construction Management (AECOM Hunt), Program Management, and Environment

• With West Region Leaders (key Metro/Cities leads, Regional Business Line Leads, Finance, Operations, and project teams)

• With the Transportation Global Aviation team, specifically around major Aviation conferences, major trends, critical pursuits, capture management, technical practice networks, and client engagement

• With other geographic regions around subject matter experts, sharing work, best practices, and internal workshops

Minimum Requirements

Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Field Biologist for immediate on-call, part-time employment in the southern/central California and Nevada region. This position would support numerous natural resource projects in the Mojave Desert region of California and Nevada with a focus on conducting biological surveys, vegetation mapping, wildlife assessments, habitat restoration, and/or regulatory compliance and permitting implementation with support from a senior biologist. This is a field-based, remote position requiring the ability to be local on assignments. A 10(A)(1)(a) permit for listed species local to southern California and Nevada is preferred (but not required), including species such as desert tortoise and/or Mojave ground squirrel, amongst others. This position will support multiple project managers on a variety of types of projects including utility, military, transportation, and renewable energy sectors. The responsibilities of this position could include a subset of those listed below based on relevant experience:

• Conduct wildlife and/or botanical surveys, including vegetation and habitat mapping.

• Identify and record native and non-native fauna and/or flora in the field.

• Conduct special-status species surveys, following established protocols or guidelines as relevant.

• Avian species identification and avian mortality monitoring.

• Support project execution, including pre-construction surveys and construction monitoring.

• Assist with environmental compliance monitoring.

• Botanical knowledge and ability to evaluate phenology for native seed scouting.

• Oversight of restoration crew work and native seed collection activities.

• Perform other related duties assigned, such as coordination with team members, scheduling of work, etc.

• Conduct restoration vegetation performance monitoring.

• Utilize electronic data collection methods (including GPS); manage, interpret, and analyze data, as needed.

• Conduct monitoring and survey fieldwork as part of a team and alone in inland and desert environments, which can include rugged terrain.

• Work under the supervision of a senior project manager or senior-level team member.

• Ability to independently manage tasks.

• Ensure assigned tasks stay on schedule and budget.

• Work independently and as part of a team; be innovative and a problem solver.

• Elevate compliance concerns to senior-level team members.

• Provide clarification of resource project requirements to the compliance and construction teams.

• Promote safety culture and adherence to Safe Work Plans.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field (biology, ecology, etc.).

• 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/and or education in biological natural resources.

• Valid driver's license required, and must be able to safely drive to job sites.

• Candidates must be able to work in the California and Nevada Mojave Desert region (including Laughlin, Barstow, Las Vegas), based on assignment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior consulting experience preferred, but non-consultant candidates with relevant experience will be considered.

• Experience conducting biological surveys and/or environmental compliance monitoring and biological construction oversight.

• Field experience with special status species of southern California or Nevada, and knowledge of regulatory requirements.

• Possess a 10(A)(1)(a) permit for listed species local to southern California and Nevada, such as desert tortoise and/or Mojave ground squirrel.

• Strong leadership and diplomacy skills.

• Thrives independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with mitigation, monitoring, and reporting programs.

• Experience on construction-associated transmission and/or utility projects.

Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $30.00/hour - $38.00/hour.

This position will support numerous natural resource projects in the Mojave Desert region of California and Nevada with a focus on assisting with biological surveys, vegetation mapping, habitat restoration, and wildlife assessments under the direction of a senior biologist. This is a field-based, remote position requiring the ability to be local on assignments. This position will support multiple project managers on a variety of types of projects including utility, military, transportation, and renewable energy sectors. AECOM is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our Billings, Montana Environmental Remediation team. We are seeking candidates who will be able to immediately contribute to the successful delivery of projects and promote growth in existing and new markets, with an emphasis in supporting Rail and Oil & Gas clients. This full-time position within our Environmental group will manage and coordinate environmental projects related to environmental assessment, remediation, waste management, permit and environmental compliance, and wastewater treatment operations. This position will engage with the client(s), regulatory agencies and support growth and focus on expanding services, with an emphasis on Tail, but supporting other industrial clients. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate project experience, technical knowledge, require a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed orientated, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working collaboratively in a high-performance team. This position is available for an Office/Remote Hybrid role for the ideal candidate.

Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Field Biological Technician for immediate on-call, part-time employment in the southern/central California and Nevada region. This position will support numerous natural resource projects in the Mojave Desert region of California and Nevada with a focus on assisting with biological surveys, vegetation mapping, habitat restoration, and wildlife assessments under the direction of a senior biologist. This is a field-based, remote position requiring the ability to be local on assignments. This position will support multiple project managers on a variety of types of projects including utility, military, transportation, and renewable energy sectors. • Avian species identification and avian mortality monitoring.

Qualifications

Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Field Biologist for immediate on-call, part-time employment in the southern/central California and Nevada region. This position would support numerous natural resource projects in the Mojave Desert region of California and Nevada with a focus on conducting biological surveys, vegetation mapping, wildlife assessments, habitat restoration, and/or regulatory compliance and permitting implementation with support from a senior biologist. This is a field-based, remote position requiring the ability to be local on assignments. A 10(A)(1)(a) permit for listed species local to southern California and Nevada is preferred (but not required), including species such as desert tortoise and/or Mojave ground squirrel, amongst others. This position will support multiple project managers on a variety of types of projects including utility, military, transportation, and renewable energy sectors. • Conduct wildlife and/or botanical surveys, including vegetation and habitat mapping.

• Identify and record native and non-native fauna and/or flora in the field.

• Conduct special-status species surveys, following established protocols or guidelines as relevant.

• Avian species identification and avian mortality monitoring.

• Support project execution, including pre-construction surveys and construction monitoring.

• Assist with environmental compliance monitoring.

• Botanical knowledge and ability to evaluate phenology for native seed scouting.

• Oversight of restoration crew work and native seed collection activities.

• Perform other related duties assigned, such as coordination with team members, scheduling of work, etc.

• Utilize electronic data collection methods (including GPS); manage, interpret, and analyze data, as needed.

• Conduct monitoring and survey fieldwork as part of a team and alone in inland and desert environments, which can include rugged terrain.
