Reporting to the ISS Manager the Project Manager is responsible for the generation of full quantity project management estimates to include the requisite materials and labor to satisfy the job scope. This position covers the Sacramento, CA and surrounding territory (about a 50-mile radius). * Estimating methods include, but are not limited to, field measurements and blueprints via cutting-edge takeoff software, training provided. * Interface with ASC sales people to identify the job requirements, specified products, and scopes of work. * Identify, screen and manage a subcontracted labor force that meets the corporate guidelines for job site deployment. * Manage contract fulfillment in the field to the required levels of expectation. * Cost containment responsibilities in regards to labor and materials consumption, overruns and shortages. * Identification of potential areas of conflict between product specification, and scope of work. * Duties may extend to full proposal generation once proficiency is reached in the aforementioned primary duties. * Windows and siding experience is highly preferred! * Must be a self motivated professional with a fluent understanding of the exterior construction process. * Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and scopes. * Must have strong knowledge of window/siding quality control and construction safety compliance. * Working understanding of product specification terminology. * Ability to communicate with sub-contractor base all the way up to senior leadership. * Special focus in exterior claddings and windows is a plus. * Ability to meet deadlines, communicate questions and concerns and search for creative solutions when needed. * Have a working understanding of digital estimating software, or be able to learn quickly. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. * Must meet all other corporate hiring requirements. _SUMMARY:_ The Inventory Planner is responsible for assisting in monitoring inventory levels and for ordering and forecasting materials to replenish those inventory levels. Job Description Reporting to the Commodity Manager the Commodity Planner is responsible for monitoring inventory levels and issuing purchase orders to replenish inventory. The Planner facilitates timely deliveries within supply chain, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime by working directly with the production facilities. This position must also work with the Transportation department to control freight cost while maintaining appropriate stock levels. In addition, the Commodity Planner is responsible for establishing great relationships with tactical support staff at our suppliers. _OBJECTIVES:_ * Establish effective relationships with the material managers at all plants, and work closely with them to address any material questions they have. * Manage inventory levels by plant based on stocking plan and monitoring demand on assigned commodities. * Manage and keep up to date data related to planning parameters and vendor contacts. * Primary contact for inbound and outbound material movement. _DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:_ * Place daily orders from multiple vendors to fulfill demand. * Maintain and build vendor relations. * Work with Customer Service to manage large order lead times and expedites for third party contractors. * Identify and expedite material to meet production demand spikes for a make to order environment. * Report on backorders/late shipments and work with Commodity Buyer to resolve any ongoing issues. * Work closely with Commodity Buyer on new product launches, ensuring that all the parts are in place for testing and launch dates. * Address major forecast discrepancies with vendors to meet production demand. * Reconcile Accounts Payable discrepancies. * Manage non-conforming material process.
