SUMMARY: Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, the individual in this role will be primarily responsible for developing target accounts and maintaining and driving new business within the New Windsor market. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Skills: * Leads all sales and account/planning, forecasting, reporting, management efforts for assigned accounts within territory * Understands, assesses, and anticipates customers' objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunities * Acquires new customers to maximize supply center revenue * Responsible for escalated customer service issue follow-up, but not the primary contact point for issue resolution Management/Leadership: * Works closely with supply center and corporate resource to have them enter & fulfill orders * Strong knowledge of the AMI sales process and policies (e.g., accruals, credit, expenses, rewards) * Acts as a mentor for Sales Representatives PRODUCT/MARKET: * Brings core product specification knowledge, application, and value to the customer * Understands necessary building codes and how they impact AMI products * Reads blueprints and understands take-off capabilities for core products * Sells remodeling, new construction, project work, and ISS * Must be able to accurately and professionally demo all core products to small and large groups * Must be able to accurately and professionally demo all core products to small and medium groups * Understands the basics of negotiating correct market value pricing for the assigned territory, and seeks advice from the Area Sales Leader or Sr. Sales Manager EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * * Successful sales history with 2 + years of outside sales experience. * Experience within the building materials industry* is highly preferred. * Bachelor's degree preferred * Self-directed, highly organized, customer-focused, detail oriented, and competitive * Working knowledge of core building material products (specifically windows & siding) for both single and multi-family applications * Proven experience in new business selling, upselling, and selling * Preferred experience working with builders and architects to create bigger ticket sales All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Reporting to the ISS Manager the Project Manager is responsible for the generation of full quantity project management estimates to include the requisite materials and labor to satisfy the job scope. This position covers the Denver, CO and surrounding territory (about a 50-mile radius). * Estimating methods include, but are not limited to, field measurements and blueprints via cutting-edge takeoff software, training provided. * Interface with ASC sales people to identify the job requirements, specified products, and scopes of work. * Identify, screen and manage a subcontracted labor force that meets the corporate guidelines for job site deployment. * Manage contract fulfillment in the field to the required levels of expectation. * Cost containment responsibilities in regards to labor and materials consumption, overruns and shortages. * Identification of potential areas of conflict between product specification, and scope of work. * Duties may extend to full proposal generation once proficiency is reached in the aforementioned primary duties. * Windows and siding experience is highly preferred! * Must be a self motivated professional with a fluent understanding of the exterior construction process. * Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and scopes. * Must have strong knowledge of window/siding quality control and construction safety compliance. * Working understanding of product specification terminology. * Ability to communicate with sub-contractor base all the way up to senior leadership. * Special focus in exterior claddings and windows is a plus. * Ability to meet deadlines, communicate questions and concerns and search for creative solutions when needed. * Have a working understanding of digital estimating software, or be able to learn quickly. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. * Must meet all other corporate hiring requirements. Perform advanced-level functions in the maintenance and repair of the facility including but it not limited to building, grounds, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, etc. Works with little or no supervision. * *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Performs self-directed reactive and planned maintenance which includes but is not limited to: observing devises in operation to location root cause of problem; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; examines parts to detect imperfections; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; testing of device to observe performance; and tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems; reconditions and repairs machine tools. * Performs simple welding tasks and orders supplies and repair items as necessary. * Analyzes and troubleshoots machine failures. Acts as a proactive project champion and works closely with planner/scheduler. Lays out, wire, builds, and troubleshoots electrical panels and/or other machinery to NFPA/NEC standards. * Maintains the grounds and building exterior, by performing any one or up to two of the following technical disciplines; routine electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs. * Provides assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to small teams. Performs more advanced functions as a part of training and development. * May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. * Troubleshooting 480 components to include drives and PLC software. BMC and Allen Bradley Knowledge a plus. * Knowledge of Omron, Barber colemen controllers. ABB, Reliance, and yaskawa drives. * A/C and D/C drive repairs and installation is required.
