Must be able to interact internally with all levels of management from Vice Presidents through Supply Center Managers. *OBJECTIVES: * * Implement credit policies and collections processes to assigned supply centers and direct accounts that ultimately result in improved cash flow and lower bad debt with an appropriate balance to sales. * Assess and analyze the creditworthiness of new and existing customers and establish credit limits per customer * Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to ensure the collectability of accounts and if needed determine the appropriate reserve for bad debt expense. * DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers and advise credit limits per customer. * Ensure customer exposure remains within the approved credit limits. Reporting to the ISS Manager the Project Manager is responsible for the generation of full quantity project management estimates to include the requisite materials and labor to satisfy the job scope. This position covers the Columbus, OH and surrounding territory (about a 50-mile radius). * Estimating methods include, but are not limited to, field measurements and blueprints via cutting-edge takeoff software, training provided. * Interface with ASC sales people to identify the job requirements, specified products, and scopes of work. * Identify, screen and manage a subcontracted labor force that meets the corporate guidelines for job site deployment. * Manage contract fulfillment in the field to the required levels of expectation. * Cost containment responsibilities in regards to labor and materials consumption, overruns and shortages. * Identification of potential areas of conflict between product specification, and scope of work. * Duties may extend to full proposal generation once proficiency is reached in the aforementioned primary duties. * Windows and siding experience is highly preferred! * Must be a self motivated professional with a fluent understanding of the exterior construction process. * Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and scopes. * Must have strong knowledge of window/siding quality control and construction safety compliance. * Working understanding of product specification terminology. * Ability to communicate with sub-contractor base all the way up to senior leadership. * Special focus in exterior claddings and windows is a plus. * Ability to meet deadlines, communicate questions and concerns and search for creative solutions when needed. * Have a working understanding of digital estimating software, or be able to learn quickly. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. * Must meet all other corporate hiring requirements. The Residential Window Service Technician at AM is responsible for the service of window field complaints in the Great Lakes region. The Residential Window Service Technician is responsible for managing his/her own schedule with customers, and enhancing the customer experience by providing exceptional service, training, and support. The Residential Window Service Technician will work directly with the Regional Sales Manager to make sure customer needs and expectations are met. _DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:_ * Serve customers in the Great Lakes Region of the US with integrity (states of OH, PA, MI, KY, WV, and IN) * Visit regional Window World locations bi-monthly to improve service * Objectively assess and evaluate windows against design and manufacturer specifications. Check window displays to ensure proper operation, cleanliness, and current design and models * Provide window and siding installation seminars and aid in the creation of training materials. Independently perform field inspections as required and train others in the process. * Review window parts kits to ensure that they are complete and current * Review outstanding service issues and visit job sites to resolve service issues * Visit in-progress window jobs and review installation techniques * Provide feedback regarding store owner, operations manager, and installer performance * Complete Service Tech Call Reports and expense reports every week. * Trouble shoot problem jobs for WW locations and give feedback and techniques on how to fix the issue. * Determine if issues are window or installation driven and report findings in a detailed and fact-based manner. SUMMARY: * Position reports to the Director of Credit for US Operations and will assist in implementing new credit and accounts receivable policies and procedures. Must be able to interact internally with all levels of management from Vice Presidents through Supply Center Managers. *OBJECTIVES: * * Implement credit policies and collections processes to assigned supply centers and direct accounts that ultimately result in improved cash flow and lower bad debt with an appropriate balance to sales. * Assess and analyze the creditworthiness of new and existing customers and establish credit limits per customer * Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to ensure the collectability of accounts and if needed determine the appropriate reserve for bad debt expense. * DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers and advise credit limits per customer. * Ensure customer exposure remains within the approved credit limits.
