We seek an individual experienced in insurance partner management to drive customer-facing initiatives of our AppleCare Product Operations team. You'll need to be organized and proactive to the challenges of a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle ambiguity and build structure. You will work on developing and defining new insurance offerings and ways to bring them to market in a way that is distinctly Apple. You will be responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation, and performance measurement of your programs with strategic insurance providers. You will closely work with product, procurement, legal, and finance teams on defining a statement of work for prospective insurance partners, validating operating assumptions, and weighing in on selection criteria. Once an insurance partner has been selected, you will oversee partner onboarding, system integration activities, and define success metrics to ensure they are execution-ready for launch. Post-launch, you will oversee operational execution and conduct quarterly business reviews with them to assess past performance and align on future expectations. You will focus on innovating the AppleCare product line through the development of new features and the creation of outstanding customer experiences. In partnership with experts from functional areas across Apple, your key responsibilities are: - Identifying emerging trends in the insurance technology space - Building business cases and securing executive buy-in for new insurance offerings - Leading an RFQ/RFP process including statement of work, selection criteria, evaluation of operational capabilities and strategic fit - Establishing and maintaining commercial contractual agreements - Overseeing insurance partner onboarding including contract management, system access and integration, and key launch milestones. - Driving operational execution and performance management of the insurance partner including leading business reviews with senior levels of management in both organizations. - Identifying process improvements opportunities and work with internal cross functional teams as well as insurance partner teams to prioritize and deliver those improvements - Resolving compliance issues with support from internal teams and the insurance partner This job is very cross-functional and requires strong and effective communication to lead, empower and influence large teams with competing priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
5-7 years work experience in insurance or partner management
Hands-on project management experience during all phases of the development cycle
Excellent social and oral/written communication skills, with experience presenting to multiple teams and executive level partners
BA/BS Required in Business, Finance or other quantitative field
