We will apply your hands-on experience in power EM/IR analysis to develop, define and refine the methodologies and flows for gate-level, as well as transistor level designs. Major tasks will include functional static / dynamic IR analysis, scan mode IVD analysis, package and interposer model handling, power EM analysis, SigEM, power switch modeling, design abstract and reuse for EM/IR purposes, IP / SoC level EMIR sign-off / ECO, and much more. Description

In this highly visible role, your primary responsibilities will include: - Development of custom EM/IR solutions which scale with accuracy and capacity challenges. - Streamline and automate EM/IR flow with ownership of the entire flow. - Support and collaborate with design groups (Physical-design and integration, Circuit-design / Power / Package & System / Technology) on their EM/IR requirements for various post layout flows. - Work side by side with EDA vendors and foundries for tool qualification, debug and enhancement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in theory, EDA Tool, or CAD flow relevant to EM/IR

  • Experience in at least one of Tcl, Python or Perl scripting languages.

  • Coursework or projects in one of the analysis involved in EM/IR - extraction, timing, noise, simulation, physical design and verification

  • Minimum requirement of BS + 0 years of relevant industry experience

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

  • Ability to drive and complete tasks with guidance.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Hands on knowledge of industry leading EMIR tools e.g. Voltus, VoltusFi, RedHawk-SC, Totem.

  • Experience in development of large scale software in multi user, multi site environment.

  • Hands on experience with analysis, optimization and debugging of IR/IVD/Electromigration issues on high performance, large scale designs and silicons.

The Video Applications QA team is seeking a Software QA Engineer to help test our video applications on macOS and iOS software, ensuring a high-quality customer experience. Description

We are seeking self-motivated individual with strong technical, problem solving and communication skills, and the willingness to work in a dynamic environment. Responsible for planning, designing, maintaining and executing test cases with minimal direction. Able to test manually and with automation. Report bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques. Balance a wide variety of deliverables that will require the ability to effectively manage priorities and communicate progress and risks systematically. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and with making educated, critical judgments in the absence of complete requirements. Your ongoing curiosity and dedication to self-education in video and photo technologies as well as new testing techniques is what will set you apart. You should have a proven ability to ramp up quickly on both existing and new technologies. You will be in continual dialogue with Engineering and Design as products evolve and you will need to have compassion for users so you can effectively advocate on their behalf.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Mandatory photography and videography post-production experience.

  • Mandatory iOS and macOS testing experience.

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related work experience.

  • At least 5 years experience as a Software QA Engineer.

  • Understanding of SDLC and SQA methodologies and practices such as planning, requirements analysis, testing and deployment.

  • Inquisitive and able to investigate and debug difficult software issues.

As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you'll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). You'll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means you'll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple's devices. Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices. As a member of the Silicon Validation Hardware team you'll be critical to enabling the next generation of incredible Apple products. This position involves a wide range of activities including high-speed board designs that push the limits of technology, designing and implementing test and characterization circuits in the lab, and debugging complicated system level problems. You'll work closely with designers from many groups within Apple and be a key contributor to the silicon engineering effort.

Description

. Developing specifications based on requirements from cross-functional teams - Schematic capture, circuit design, definition of layout and routing constraints, design review and simulation - FPGA and CPLD development - Board bring-up, testing and characterization, and debug - Power and signal integrity analysis - High-speed interface design and characterization - Debug a wide range of issues on test boards and production systems

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience designing complex high-speed embedded systems with demonstrated record of success.

  • BS in Electrical, Computer or related degree program with 10 years of proven experience.

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • - Broad experience with high-speed, high-power embedded system design

  • - Experience defining routing constraints for high-speed interfaces

  • - Design and analysis of power supplies and power integrity analysis

  • - Excellent signal integrity analysis and measurement techniques

  • - CPU/SOC/Microcontroller system architecture expertise

  • - Proficiency with standard hardware lab equipment including scopes, logic and spectrum analyzers, signal generators, eLoads and protocol analyzers

  • - Test automation expertise using Perl/Tcl/Python

  • - Board level analog and digital circuit design experience
