Overview

Do you enjoy working with a team? Acosta lead merchandisers work in Giant Eagle stores to complete resets and merchandising projects according to planograms. The lead's schedule is M-Th 6am-4:30pm (four 10 hour days). The leads are liaisons between store managers and the field. They also complete resets, installs, stock as well as remove and set up displays. There is also a new Milestone Bonus where you are eligible for a $500 bonus after 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Our Lead Merchandisers:

  • Act as liaisons between store managers and the field to complete merchandising projects.

  • Help new hires get their footing (train or help out with onboarding paperwork when needed.)

  • Read and follow a plan-o-gram to effectively complete reset work.

  • Perform duties such as moving and cleaning shelves, displaying merchandise properly, placing shelf strips and attaching tags appropriately, checking date codes and plan-o-gram integrity, and processing pack-outs and restocks as necessary.

  • Partner with store personnel and co-workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build an effective working relationship.

Qualifications

  • You're able to arrive at different locations in the area to get started by 6am.

About the role :

Acosta is looking for merchandisers who enjoy working with flowers! This role specializes in caring for, stocking, and placing pre-made flower bouquets in designated displays across various Target retail locations. Customer service is a high priority for this role, and this will allow you to build a close relationship with the Target store management team by showing your quality work once completed.

Responsibilities

About You :

You are an independent, self-starter who doesn't need much direction to get the work done. You enjoy working in a self-directed environment, executing the tasks assigned to you. You are thorough in your work ensuring plans are followed to a tee. You pride yourself on maintaining a positive attitude and not stopping until a job is done right. You've ideally had experience in grocery, stocking, inventory, merchandising, etc.

Qualifications

  • Read and follow plan-o-grams to effectively complete the project and be willing to learn Acosta's best practices with merchandising.

  • Assist in gathering and moving materials, supplies, fixtures, and equipment necessary for the assigned project work.

  • Effectively and accurately work with web-based applications to indicate work availability, receive work documentation and information, manage time and milage (which is reimbursed!).

  • Perform job safely by demonstrating full awareness of his/her surroundings. Utilize proper safety techniques and equipment use when necessary. Be proactive in alerting management to any unsafe act or condition to prevent injuries.

  • You can carry 20 pounds and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • You have a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable access to transportation. Acosta does provide mileage reimbursement!

Retail Team Merchandiser (FT) - Giant Eagle - Acosta

Overview

Do you enjoy traveling and working with a team? Acosta merchandisers work in Giant Eagle stores to complete resets and merchandising projects according to planograms. This is a FT travel team so a valid driver's license and vehicle are required. The travel team's schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (40 hrs). You'd be mainly covering the Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Columbus markets. Travel and mileage reimbursements are included with some added incentives. There is also a new Milestone Bonus where you are eligible for a $500 bonus after 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Our Merchandisers:

  • Read and follow a plan-o-gram to effectively complete reset work.

  • Perform duties such as moving and cleaning shelves, displaying merchandise properly, placing shelf strips and attaching tags appropriately, checking date codes and plan-o-gram integrity, and processing pack-outs and restocks as necessary.

  • Partner with store personnel and co-workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build an effective working relationship.

Qualifications

  • You're able to arrive at different locations in the area to get started by 7am.Possess a valid driver's license.

  • You enjoy being physically active and can lift up to 40 pounds.

  • You are comfortable working with others.

  • If you happen to have Retail or Grocery experience already, even better!

PAY : Your hourly rate is based on experience and location.

AVERAGE HOURS PER WEEK : Part-time positions are generally between 16-24 hours per week; however, hours may shift weekly based on product needs.

SHIFT : There is some flexibility but may include weekdays and/or weekends.

About the role :

The Retail Merchandiser plays a key role on our project team by representing some of the biggest brands and products. In this role, you will take pride in product presentation and positioning and in updating merchandise stock totals to ensure the shelves are ready for shoppers!

Responsibilities

About You :

You are an independent, self-starter who doesn't need much direction to get the work done. You enjoy working in a self-directed environment, executing the tasks assigned to you. You are thorough in your work ensuring plans are followed to a tee. You pride yourself on maintaining a positive attitude and not stopping until a job is done right. You've ideally had experience in grocery, stocking, inventory, merchandising, etc.

Qualifications

  • Read and follow plan-o-grams to effectively complete the project and be willing to learn Acosta's best practices with merchandising.

  • Assist in gathering and moving materials, supplies, fixtures, and equipment necessary for the assigned project work.

  • Effectively and accurately work with web-based applications to indicate work availability, receive work documentation and information, manage time and milage (which is reimbursed!).

  • Perform job safely by demonstrating full awareness of his/her surroundings. Utilize proper safety techniques and equipment use when necessary. Be proactive in alerting management to any unsafe act or condition to prevent injuries.

  • You can carry 20 pounds and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • You have a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable access to transportation. Acosta does provide mileage reimbursement!

Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of sales and/or training experience in the wireless industry

  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills - effective in one-on-one and group settings
