Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description

The phlebotomist will be part of a team that supports three cancer centers along with orthopedic clinics. The role involves collecting blood/urine samples from primarily cancer and orthopedic patients, processing samples in EPIC, and answering phones. You will be drawing blood from adult patients only, with no pediatric involvement. On the 3rd shift, you can expect to draw blood from 40-50 patients per shift, with the heaviest volume occurring between 3:00a-7:00a. The position requires traveling by foot to various rooms where blood draws are requested.

Hard Skills

  • 2+ years' experience as a phlebotomist within a hospital

  • EPIC experience (experience using hand-held Rover devices highly preferred)

  • Phlebotomy certification (highly preferred but not required)

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The candidate will provide mechanical engineering support for Radar Systems and their associated equipment. The role involves supporting Advanced Radars test capability development through the creation of Automated Test Stations. The engineer will derive requirements from Technical Data Packages and test set system requirements, develop mechanical hardware designs, create and maintain drawings, and integrate components to build test sets. The design team collaborates in Cameo systems modeler, and the engineer will independently use Cameo systems modeler and Solid Edge to design systems and draft drawings.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of experience

  • Strong 3D Modeling Experience- Solidedge preferred- would consider Pro E, CATIA, Solidworks, etc.

  • Sub Assembly drawings- Mechanical components

- Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes.

- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.

- Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions.

- Provides information to internal and external clients on moderate to complex issues.

- Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders.

- Training, due diligence, and technical oversight of external engineers of record (EOR) for all assigned substation projects to ensure compliance with required generation interconnection agreements, scope of work documents, project specifications, site specific design requirements, IEEE, NESC, ASCE and all other applicable industry codes and standards.

- Securing engineering consulting resources from a list of approved suppliers by developing a scope of work, securing bids, evaluating, and awarding work through Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Group.

- Coordinate with other project stakeholders to develop and secure a substation site, support any engineering updates, data and permits necessary to design and build the substation.

- Coordination with other groups to ensure that the assigned E&C substation projects are successful. Generally responsible for representing E&C's internal and external interests on assigned projects, including presentations/briefing on current progress, issues, and risk mitigation in meetings with various levels of management.

- Support Transmission Services during review of interconnection documentation including system impact studies, facility studies, reactive and harmonic studies and Interconnection agreements and ensures that Transmission Owner requirements and E&C engineering design are consistent and in compliance with all ISO requirements and incorporated into the project design. Must be able to work with and communicate often to the respective transmission owners/operators/ISOs to ensure project deliverables will meet specific off-taker requirements, are timely and accurate.

- Manage all project long lead major material orders to minimize risk of delays or exceeding the project budget. Assists ISC with all substation project SOW creation, review, approval, and preparation of shopping carts for engineering services and materials in a timely manner.

- Support E&C Estimating with template update via project feedback, technical support, and scope modifications.

- Works collaboratively with project engineering resources in various disciplines to determine project priorities, work plans and lines of demarcation.

- Ensures projects are efficiently, cost effectively and safely implemented in accordance with department process, procedures, industry standards and policies.

- Support assigned project commissioning activities to meet corporate objectives.

- Support Legal in any regulatory filings, depositions and/or hearings.

- Collaborate with component OEMs to enhance/adapt their designs to better integrate with NEER's philosophies.

- Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project.
