What You Will Do:

• Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Qt/QML or C# .Net/WPF, ensuring scalability, performance, and user-friendly interfaces.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, QA, and product managers, to understand requirements and deliver software solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

• Code Review: Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify bugs, and mentor junior team members.

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and expertise in the selection of software development tools, technologies, and methodologies.

• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, implementation, and testing.

• Medical Devices Integration: Contribute to the development of software solutions in the medical devices field, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience with software development

• 2+ years of experience providing leadership, training, guidance, and support to software engineering staff

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Experience mentoring and developing engineers

• Proven experience in software development using Qt/QML or C# .Net/WPF

• Strong expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, with the ability to design and optimize database schemas

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices

• Experience in the medical devices field

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

• Knowledge on Agile/Scrum based product development

• Experience with Software Configuration Management

The candidate will provide mechanical engineering support for Radar Systems and their associated equipment. The role involves supporting Advanced Radars test capability development through the creation of Automated Test Stations. Description: Substation Principal Engineer/Lead

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:

- All assigned substation projects from conception (Early Stage) through construction and commissioning (Execution).

- In the conceptual phase, you will work with the Early-Stage Project Manager to support the engineering requirements and scope with the Development Group. Projects can begin as FERC 1000 competitive transmission project proposals, or as greenfield projects for NEER affiliates.

- Plans, coordinates and completes large-scale or several medium or small, complex or long-term project(s) within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.

- Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes.

- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.

- Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions.

- Provides information to internal and external clients on moderate to complex issues.

- Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders.

- Training, due diligence, and technical oversight of external engineers of record (EOR) for all assigned substation projects to ensure compliance with required generation interconnection agreements, scope of work documents, project specifications, site specific design requirements, IEEE, NESC, ASCE and all other applicable industry codes and standards.

- Securing engineering consulting resources from a list of approved suppliers by developing a scope of work, securing bids, evaluating, and awarding work through Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Group.

- Coordinate with other project stakeholders to develop and secure a substation site, support any engineering updates, data and permits necessary to design and build the substation.

- Coordination with other groups to ensure that the assigned E&C substation projects are successful. Generally responsible for representing E&C's internal and external interests on assigned projects, including presentations/briefing on current progress, issues, and risk mitigation in meetings with various levels of management.

- Support Transmission Services during review of interconnection documentation including system impact studies, facility studies, reactive and harmonic studies and Interconnection agreements and ensures that Transmission Owner requirements and E&C engineering design are consistent and in compliance with all ISO requirements and incorporated into the project design. Must be able to work with and communicate often to the respective transmission owners/operators/ISOs to ensure project deliverables will meet specific off-taker requirements, are timely and accurate.

- Manage all project long lead major material orders to minimize risk of delays or exceeding the project budget. Assists ISC with all substation project SOW creation, review, approval, and preparation of shopping carts for engineering services and materials in a timely manner.

- Support E&C Estimating with template update via project feedback, technical support, and scope modifications.

- Works collaboratively with project engineering resources in various disciplines to determine project priorities, work plans and lines of demarcation.

- Ensures projects are efficiently, cost effectively and safely implemented in accordance with department process, procedures, industry standards and policies.

- Support assigned project commissioning activities to meet corporate objectives.

- Support Legal in any regulatory filings, depositions and/or hearings.

- Collaborate with component OEMs to enhance/adapt their designs to better integrate with NEER's philosophies.

- Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project.

- Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team.

- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred.

- 5+ years' experience in Substation design and engineering of High Voltage substation projects is highly preferred.

- Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience with a strong bias for action. PMP and/or P.E. in related discipline is a plus.

Description: Early Stage Transmission Project Manager

- Primary responsibility is to take ownership of and work independently to actively manage a portfolio of assigned Solar projects through the Early-Stage process in preparation for turnover to the Construction team.

- Leverage technical, commercial, and financial expertise to support and guide the broader team towards overall project, business unit, and/or corporate targets.

- Analyze technical and financial data, extrapolate notable variables, indicators, and trends. Proactively investigate, calibrate, and integrate broader market impacts into your portfolio of projects.

- Daily management of each assigned Solar project is all-encompassing. You are wholly responsible for delivering a technically feasibility, schedule appropriate, commercially supported, and financially viable project.

- Serve as development and permitting support, coordinate with and leverage subject matter experts, facilitate Engineering, actively engage in problem resolution, proactively manage your capital budget thru approvals, develop a viable construction plan/schedule, negotiate and execute on commercial contracts, investigate optimization opportunities.

- Support in the creation of, take ownership over, and actively manage not only each individual Solar project capital budget, but balance +/- variances across your portfolio of projects.

- Engage in a variety of software applications to support your activities, manage critical data and deliverables as well as report on key indicators.

- Support the larger Early-Stage team with process, tool, and training initiatives.

- Actively communicate and interface with Executive Leadership, Suppliers, Regulatory Agencies, Local Communities, and other stakeholders.
